Sandfly Locksmith rebuilt my gate lock, including modifying it to automatically latch on its own when it closes. They also manufactured a part for the hinge side which corrected the oblong wear created over the years causing the latch side to sag and not work properly. On my house doors, they corrected three improperly installed deadbolts by drilling the holes in the jambs deeper. Now they turn all the way locked so they cannot easily a be pried open. Thank you Sandfly Locksmith and staff for a superior job!!!!

After two years of not being able to lock my older model car, my luck has finally changed. I was told originally by the dealership (Hyundai) that I had to have the lock cylinders completely replaced because the only key I had to the car would not function to unlock them, therefore the locks themselves must be faulty. Despite the locks being manual in format this repair would have still costed several hundred dollars which I simply did not have. As it turns out my key which was not an original, had become worn down and was the reason the locks would not actually function. It took Keith all of maybe 15 minutes to properly cut two new original fitting keys, and to clean out the sediment that had been forming in the two door locks (especially), as well as the ignition and trunk locks. He was very knowledgeable and kind and actually is an honest individual. I was referred to him and Sandfly Locksmith by Dixie Motors, which was a miracle in and of itself. Altogether since he was kind enough to not charge me for labor, I only had to pay for the cost of the new keys!! What a relief to find an honest business in this day and age. Not to mention the rest of the staff (they are family operated) were super nice, and they have the cutest most amazing dog in the office, as well as a very cool taxidermy 'jackalope' on the wall. So now I can finally lock my car again, was not charged hundreds in the process, and my faith in humanity has been restored! Thank you Keith/Sandfly Locksmith Inc!

My housemates and I had a problem with a deadbolt. We called Sandfly for a quote, and ended up taking the lock off the door and bringing it in for them to look at. They had given us several options at different price points, including a house call versus bringing the lock to them, all of which sounded very reasonable for the work provided. We are all students and had a free afternoon, so we went with the cheaper option. Keith was super helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable! He gave us great advice, including talking us through how to re-install the deadbolt properly on our door, and showing us how to check if a hinge was loose on a door. I highly recommend this company.

I had my car stolen about a month ago. Fortunately, and with the help of the police, I was able to recover my vehicle. The part where I'm not so fortunate in this story is that my insurance company would not pay for my car to be rekeyed regardless of the fact that the thieves had the keys to my car. After talking to Toyota, they told me they would fix it for $500. By the time I took my car to the shop the price jumped up to $1600. After dealing with the frustration Toyota gave me I called Sandfly after a friend referred me. Keith was professional, courteous, and confident in his skill set. He was thourough and gave me an honest quote that was nowhere near four figures. To top it off, I had my car back by the end of the day. If you want a professional to help you with your lock and key needs, sandfly is your place.

It’s rare these days that a service call goes SO well, that’s why I felt I had to share my experience after having such terrible locksmith experiences from other companies in the Savannah area. First of all Sandfly arrived exactly when they said they would, between 20 and 30 minutes after my call, they are very presentable and courteous. My car had previously been stolen so my key situation was a mess, none of my keys worked anymore and some worked for the ignition while I had NONE that worked in my door locks. Sandfly patiently listened to my problems and on the spot re-keyed my whole car while I waited! I didn’t even know that was possible! Now I not only have a new electronic key but also a spare door key in case my battery dies again, that is a huge stress reliever and I didn’t even have to take my car anywhere to get it done. Not only that, but he went above and beyond and actually jumped my car as well! On top of all of that Sandfly was more reasonably priced than any other locksmith I have used. Last time I locked myself out of my house the locksmith I called took 45 minutes to get into my door and actually damaged the door of my historical home in the process. Sandfly Locksmith is a great company to deal with! They have always been exceedingly friendly and honest in their dealings. I wanted a key pad system installed on my door. Prior to coming out, they asked me to email pics of my existing lock and the one I wanted to replace it with. That way they didn't waste my time and money if I was expecting something that would not work. They came out and in no time had replaced my existing lock with the key pad system. Several months later, I had a problem with the key pad. It was actually a defect in the lock I had purchased. Again, before wasting my money by coming back out, they walked me through a few things to make sure a trip was necessary. They did need to come out, but in a matter of minutes, they had worked their magic and repaired my lock. It's working great now! I really appreciated their efforts to save me a service call if at all possible. Thanks Sandfly! You can consider me to be a loyal customer!!

Worst locksmith ever, I was told by every other locksmith that this was the best and they are note. They are very rude even the owner, i got my 2006 Infiniti M35 key programmed and it was not programmed correctly, and I had to pay nissian $133 to reprogram my key and once I tried to go and get ah refund for my service with sandfly locks, they refused to give me my money back & told me that I still should be paying them $50 more and on top of everything, $100 extra dollars was taken out of my account which made be out $200 for a bad service with a bad company.

I haven't really had any other experiences with locksmiths but I can't imagine they get better than this. Like a lot of people my electronic car key broke and I was forced to get a new one in order to start my car. After talking to my local Mitsubishi dealer about the cost of replacement I decided to try and find a more economical solution that I could afford. Keith Rahn of Sandfly Locksmith was immediately helpful. He called me back within minutes of me leaving a message and scheduled a time for me to get new keys cut. The prices for getting car keys cut is low and affordable especially when compared to going to the dealership. On top of that he was extremely friendly and sociable.
