I called in to ask a question and the employee who answered my call was extremely rude. I was asking about the transponder in my key, as my car won't start because it doesn't recognize it. But the employee asked me why I was calling a locksmith if the key was turning in the slot. It clearly states on Pop-A-Lock's website that: "Pop-A-Lock’s automotive locksmiths have sophisticated programming equipment that can add and erase keys to most vehicles on the road today." It would be perfectly understandable if they were unable to help me in this situation, but the fact that employee seemed to be purposefully trying to make me feel like an idiot for calling and asking was shocking to me. I then called another lock company and they were extremely helpful and answered my question without a problem.

The worst Customer care and respect I've ever encountered in Canada, I would say 1/10 . I locked my key inside my car, I was very worried. when I called them I was expecting to get atleast MINIMUM CUSTOMER CARE/RESPECT on the phone. I really hope the guy who answered me is not the one who goes to help people on the Field. I hang up and called a different company which was more friendly Would not recommend PopAlock

Trust Google ratings. So Igor came by today to install my Telus smart lock on my door as part of the Telus security bundle. My old door needed some modifications that the Telus tech didn't have the tools for. Called Pop a Lock, Igor took my info about the lock and door and said he'd be here next day. True to his word, he was here on time, in PPE, and set to work. Not long after, he was done, his work area tidy, and gave me a tutorial on the new lock. Price was well below my expectations and now have a locksmith in my phone's contacts! Thank you Igor, stay safe! Btw, the Telus security system is fantastic as well. We had a flood last month that the moisture sensor detected in the middle of the night. If I hadn't had it, the damage would have been so much worse.
