Fantastic service! We had called CAA for assistance who then called Pop-A-Lock Hamilton. They were there within 20 minutes, easily opened the car then trunk. Keys weren’t there, so now they are lost, but they offered to replicate the key and now we are driving back home to Quebec. Thank you again Matt!

AMAZING service! I can not say enough about this company! So, my mom got locked out of her house yesterday- I was unable to help since I live in Toronto. On top of this, my mom is disabled and the property was slippery and icy so she was unable to try different points of entry of the house. I looked up locksmiths and called Pop a Lock who immediately dispatched Nick who got to my mom house promptly. After a while I received a call from Nick letting me know that my mom was safely in the house (I was amazed by this service already!!). Later when I called my mom she was SO HAPPY! Not only did Nick pop the lock and let my mom in, he then proceeded to help my mom into the house and assisted her to get her bags up the stairs...what a gentleman! Pop a Lock when above and beyond to help my mom, I would recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation!

I had an electronic safe with my passport, money and keys for my Harley locked in it. The battery died and I couldn't find the back up key. Called and was told Nic would be the person they were sending out. Right from the beginning he had a plan and assured me that no matter what, he would have it opened before he left. I’d heard of the great service through a friend that Pop-A-Lock provides so I gave them a call when we lost our car keys while out of town. They were very friendly and helpful. I was given a 30 minute ETA and sure enough they arrived in 25 min! (9:30pm on a Sunday night). They were able to make me a new car key right on the spot! We were in town visiting a friend when we accidentally locked the keys on the front seat of our car the night before needing to drive home after the Holidays. I found POP-A-LOCK and was able to get through to someone (it was at 9:45pm). I was given a 30 minutes ETA and by 10;10pm they had arrived, Within 3 minutes of arriving, Nic had the car unlocked and keys in our hand. This was much quicker than using CAA. It was just under 45 minutes for the entire ordeal. I'm was impressed and very thankful I could get my family on the road. Thanks

Very unhappy with the service I received from this company. Worked on my car for a few hours and couldn't get the proper key fitted. They then left me stranded promising to come back that evening and never did. Tried calling the company line and received no answer multiple times. Just seems like they only care about getting the jobs done as quick as they can, and not about the customer at all. I ended up going with Auto Key Pro after pop a lock left me stranded, and they were much more considerate and efficient. Would not recommend Pop A Lock to anyone.

My almost 10 year old turned my car on and locked us all out! After hours service (Sunday) still was super fast! I left a message and they got back to me quickly . In the meantime I panicked and called a different locksmith. This locksmith answered faster but after waiting 1 hour... two different technicians saying they were coming (from the other company saying I would need to wait another 40 min)... Then pop a lock after hours called back and said they'd be here in 5-10 minutes and was literally that quick arriving!!! Needless to say, I cancelled the other locksmith. 1) quicker service 2) was way better pricing! 3) .Tyler had my car opened, damage free in what felt like moments!! Like 2 minutes! I am blown away!! 100% best locksmith experience ever!!! (Sadly to announce this as my 3rd experience needing one haha) but! Will definitely recommend and return!!!!

Pop A Lock are true life savers! I had lost my keys to my car and it was parked in the middle of a Costco parking lot! I called Pop A Lock around 8pm in a panic and Adam answered the phone, he was very polite and sympathetic. He told me his technician Tyler would be there in about 30 minutes. Tyler showed up and made a new set of keys and a remote for my car and i was on my way in no time! No service better than what Pop A Lock provided! I would strongly recommend their services to anyone in need of a lockmsith!

I thought he would just open my car for me and i could transfer them to my husbands car but Nic not only saved my day by opening my car, he MADE my day by being able to make me a new key! Pop-A-Lock provided excellent service. It is also important to know that they are CAA affiliated so if you go through CAA you can get a discount. I was only sold 1 key fob for the used car that I bought and when I lost it, Pop-A-Lock was extremely helpful in providing support. I had to get the fob as my car is a push start Generally they do on the spot Fob reprogramming, but as they didn't have my fob in stock they towed my vehicle home without charge so that it wasn't sitting where I had parked it for two days until they got the part. Upon trying to program the new, we discovered that we needed two fobs (physically impossible without 2 on the Mazda I have). This further delayed the job another couple of days but they provided great customer service through Kevin and Adam and gave me a bit of a discount for the extra time that it took. They put the customer's needs first and this is very important. Thanks!

I was very disappointed with Pop-A-Lock. I paid $660 for four new deadbolts and handles. I said at the beginning that I didn't care about the style. I just wanted them to be silver and all be the same, which I thought was a simple request. All of the deadbolts were the same except they gave me two curved handles, one straight handle and then they said they had to come back with a fourth since they only had gold left on the truck. I asked them to remove the straight handle since it wasn't the same and didn't match the others. They said they would come back with two more curved handles. They did bring two curved handles, but they were a different colour. I called and spoke to Adam and he asked me to send him some pictures. I sent him four photos showing two handles that were the same colour as the deadbolts and two that were a different colour. He never responded so I sent another e-mail. No response again.

A car dealership recommended Pop-A-Lock to us to copy a set of keys we had lost (we had a spare set). Every bit of service from this company was excellent from the service coordinator on the phone to the gentlemen (Heroes) who arrived at our house to copy the keys (at the time they were expected). We had a total meltdown of our van last week, in the freezing cold weather. I guess the chip inside the key locked up the electrical as it had an anti-theft lockdown thing apparently. It was totally hard to even get into it, and then when he did eventually, there was no power, as I think the electrical was shot. We we're just letting the van go a bit (2001 Pontiac Montana ext.) as the engine light was on, rusted all underneath, and the muffler was left about over a year without repair. Needless to say everything was computerized on it, and I think it was eventually the downfall of the van. Nic from Pop-A-Lock tried boosting it, and pretty much tried all he could to get it started, but to no avail. He came on a freezing cold morning at 9am, and was at it for at least an hour. He was so nice, courteous and told us that he did all he could, but couldn't get anything working. Needless to say, he didn't charge us at ALL for a service call, which is totally amazing these days. We recommend Nic and Pop-A-Lock to anyone in Hamilton and surrounding region, as they are amazing people, we'd definitely use again, if needed :)

I can honestly say that pop-a-lock was a positive experience from the beginning. I had 3 doors with 3 separate locks and was tired of having 3 different keys. I called pop-a-lock as a second quote and was expecting them to book me in a "we'll show up during a 3 hour window" instead I was able to book an appointment! The Locksmith, Jason, was not only on time he was a few minutes early. I was extremely impressed with their level of service. Jason noted the age and condition of one of the locks. Jason then took the time to explain the details that allowed me to make an educated decision about replacing the lock with a newer better product. Pop-A-Lock was extremely professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend and encourage using Pop-A-Lock.
