Needed a key cut. They cut that key with a smile and a wave. Head on down there if you need a lock, or a key, or anything else lock/key/security related. You can trust these folks without hesitation.

They installed a smart lock in my door. It worked a few times. Stopped. Then they fixed it. Worked a few times. Then they wanted to charge me another fee. I called Nest. The lock worked fine. But the deadbolt did not slide in properly. It was pooorly installed. And I have tried to fix it and did Bit because the hole they drilled from the beginning was not done well. It always stops working. They blamed the lock company. But there is nothing wrong it’s the lock.

My parents just used this service on Thursday, it took 2 hrs for the service guy to get to them. They were locked out of their house in the cold, they said will take 15 mins. He could not get the door open so he drilled it. Did not replace the lock. And charged them $200. Now I am very upset that they were treated so badly. I believe they should have a refund or a percentage of the money back. They also did not get a receipt. He took the money and ran. Not to mention he had a bad attitude.

I always try to support small businesses. Fraser recommended by a big box store as THE place to get a key cut as they specialize in this. Fraser would not do it as it was not their key and did not want to risk their $300 machine. In fact they said that if something happened to their machine during the cutting of the key, I would be responsible for their machine! They were polite but I suppose that the work wasn't worth their while. I went to the Home Hardware at the South Cambridge Plaza. They cut the key in less than 30 seconds. No charge for the cutting of the key and it works perfectly. Obviously, Home Hardware is THE place to go from now on.

These guys are life savers! Locked myself out of my house late at night and they were there within a half hour and I was back in my house in even less time. Extremely knowledgeable, fast, and kind - he had to break the lock and didn't even charge me for the replacement. A good, honest business.

I had work done by Fraser less than a year ago. The lock stopped working after 8 months. They do not guarantee their work and refused to accept any responsibility. The older woman that works at Fraser is extremely rude.

I inquired about restricted keys, and the other person on phone didnt give me straight answer. I had to call another key service to get my answer. So here is the question I had to call and text someone else. What are restricted keys. medeco keys can not be copied; they are restricted becuase the person or landlord in my case; has the copy rights to that specific way it would be cut. And there is NO WAY AROUND IT. Super frustrating. thanks MinuteKEY for all your help. Would have been more helpfull if this establishment would've given me the proper answer.

Fraser Lock and Safe should have been my first stop! Within minutes after going in, they had cut & handed me a pair of shiny new duplicate keys for a toolbox that I wasn't able to find replacements for anywhere else because of the small size. The new ones work perfectly! Thank you for that!

Fast, professional service. Picked the lock and had us inside in a few mins. Only took 15mins to be on-site. Many other companies that promised fast response "didn't have techs available, would be next day service". That doesn't work when you have a hungry 1yr old in the car! Went to Fraser Lock and Safe to get an electronic chip key for my F 150. I was greeted with a smile and received fast friendly service and the key worked perfectly the first time. The price was right too as it was substantially less then it would have been if I went to the dealer. I also noted that this service of providing and cutting chipped vehicle keys is nowhere to be found on there website. Well they did a great job of it for me and I would recommend them to any of my friends and family or anyone in Cambridge. Go see them if you need anything lock or key related.

I had a problem with the handle on front door. When I called at 8am he could be here in 10 min. But I arranged a time for 3pm . He was right on time and replaced the handle in no time. Great service friendly manner. Will definitely use them again!
