I went here because dumb me got myself stuck in some handcuffs. The owners (I assume) or front desk was extremely friendly and fantastic. I absolutely love the atmosphere of the place, I love all the decorations they have. The arcade and the beautiful decorations they have on display. After they removed the handcuffs the owners gave me the service free of charge. (I assume because I was the first one to come over with this type of problem to them) But regardless of the reasoning. Their kindness will not be forgotten! These are the types of businesses we need to get behind and support! I know for a fact that if I ever have a lock or home security need I will remember to contact this place first! Thank you very much for the unique experience!

I called them to ask about their services, and everything sounded good. The next day I showed up, but they informed me that all their technicians were out on call and you have to show up when the business first opens to get service. They could have mentioned that over the phone. When I was finally able to get there at opening time, I found out they lied about their prices to get me in the door and the service charge was double what I was promised. TL;DR dishonest and unprofessional

It was right around 5pm in the Inland Empire on a Friday. My fiancé was 20 plus mile away from my office, I was still wrapping up my work week and she had locked the keys in her vehicle. I searched google+ local and was able to locate Don's. Using the app I called, left a message and within a minute, Kenny called. I made arrangements with him to have him unlock the vehicle and within 45 minutes she was on her way to the house. Simple, courteous, and reasonably priced. Plus I didn't have to fight the Friday traffic.

This provider was assigned to me from At&t roadside assistance service. I needed a jump start due to a dead battery and faulty alternator. Bob the manager at their office told me his service truck was 45 minutes away, so he was kind enough to come out himself and help jump start my car. Not only did he help to get my car started again, he made sure I made it to the service shop down the street, even providing several more jump starts along the way when my battery kept dying! He's a great man and went out of his way to help. I highly recommend this service!

Lost my key to my camry. They were out to my house in 30min. They were able to get me going again so i can get back to work quickly. $220 for a new key but my AAA +member saved me $100 dollars. They know what there doing and made it an easy process even when i was able to get my spares they reflashed for me in 5 minutes. Will definitly use them again.

This was our first time using Don’s Lock & Key. The inner workings of our deadbolt lock on our front door broke. The technician, Buddy, arrived on time and fixed the problem inside of about 5-7 minutes. He was efficient, knowledgeable and very professional. They did my standard keys, but couldn't do the chip key. She said a technician had to be there? That's really why I went. So if you do have a special key call ahead and make sure they can do it.

Don's lock and key (formally known as pop a lock) was dispatched to come out and retrieve my keys which were locked in my car. The driver Rammy from Don's lock in key who pulled up in a orange and white vehicle with pop a lock written all over it ( I later found out that pop a lock changed their name to Don's lock and key) I proceeded to give my license as identification when the driver, Rammy says the caller isnt the name on the license , I then say yes it is, he looks at my license again and says oh yes, you're right. He then asks for my AAA card and I told him I dont have it, but I have my license and have never had any problems showing it as proof of identification. He says this is how I receive payment for services. I told him I would search my purse again, in which I didn't find my AAA card. I again told him that he is the first to give me a hard time and he said he would call AAA to verity coverage. He handed me my licence , got in his vehicle and drove off. He later reported that I was rude and services were denied. I never raised my voice, and only questioned why my license wasn't sufficient enough. The poor customer service by this company is unacceptable the fact that worker's are able to fabricate stories is beyond me, I questioned the services and was told that I was rude. When in fact he was rude to take my questioning personal and deny service I know this cant be the 1st complaint. AAA verified with me several times that they accept license as verifiable identification. This company has poor customer service,.or their employees clearly need training. This was also reported to tje better business bureau

I called triple A because we lost our keys to a Toyota van. They sent someone from Don's Lock & key. Their representative, Darrell, was very efficient, grasped our problem right away and proceeded to make really good keys. He did not leave without seeing to it that the keys fitted their locks seamlessly. He was quick and in no time at all, the job was done to our satisfaction.

Been here once and got a copy of a key made. Standard service. I suggest the hours of business be updated. On Saturday's they close at 430 not 5pm. Got there just after 430 and doors were closed.

I gave this establishment a lot of key duplication business over a period of about a year. I spent $507.89 in this time. They always treated me like they were doing me a favor. I never felt like a valued customer. The employees were rude and always acted like I was putting them out and giving them a hassle by showing up at their shop to pay them to do a service for me. Angel was always very unwelcoming and even rude on numerous occasions. The office girl was, inconsistent, condescending, impolite, and unprofessional 99% of the time. On top of the horrible customer service, they could barely make a duplicate of a 7-cut ACE tubular key. Of the nearly 80 keys that I had them copy, 15 of them did not work. When I brought the non-working keys back (numerous times) and addressed the problems (numerous times), they tried to tell me that the keys were not made at their shop. I am extremely saddened that they have Batman and Superman representing their poor establishment. It would take the entire Justice League to get me to give this place one more of my dollars. There are many other locksmith / key copiers in Riverside that I would prefer to take my business to. Just accessing and parking at this place is a nightmare. Also, if you do go to this horrid place, don't go after dark. They do not turn the lights on in the "showroom", and it is real creepy when the only light is from the reflection from the 9 earrings reflecting from each the rude girl's ears. I don't need your service, but I do feel bad for the people that have to use you out of necessity, or just don't know any better. I do not need you. :) Good day.

I called to inquire about getting a key made for my car. The woman who answered was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was treated as if I were a huge inconvenience and she just wanted to get off the phone. When I did eventually get a price, it was much more expensive than another locksmith that I called afterwards. I would not recommend this place, even if it were cheaper I wouldn't want to give them my business after the way I was treated.
