My key Fab was stolen from my car. I called the dealership and they ask for $1400 just for the fob and then 2 hours to reprogram it $500. That didn’t include the a tow fee of $250 . I thought that was crazy so I called the locksmith they ordered my fob and met me on a Sunday and got me going in 15 minutes for $700 . I probably could have shopped around and got it cheaper but the customer service was amazing. They did all the work for me! If anything happens again they are my company ! I love my Maserati but the dealership is a rip off and I probably won’t own another one because of the over charge of maintenance. Too bad for them !

When we got back to our house, my husband and I realized we were locked out. Devastated, we called a few locksmiths and got very vague/shady responses. When we called David's company, however, he was upfront and honest from the start. He got here in a flash and had us back in our house in no time. He was polite, punctual, and great at what he does. I bought a key from DML how about a year-and-a-half ago. Paid $185 for the key and programming. The key would not keep its programming would have to go through a procedure to reprogram it finally it wouldn't reprogram at all. The key ended up separating and falling apart. No warranty. Have a Factory key that's over 10 years old still operating. Answer to your question go to dealer.
