DO NOT DO BUSINESS! Joe is not a respectable business person. He over charges his costumers if he thinks they have money. Very unethical and has no idea the real responsibility it takes to be a Trusted locksmith handling people's keys and security! Do Not Be Fooled! Just don't even think about it anymore and call someone else... anyone else.. there are enough reputable respectable and legal locksmiths in the valley to choose from. No stars! I had to give at least one star just to post this valuable information to help save others the trouble.

While I had an automotive issue that Joe couldn't resolve, he went the extra mile to try to fix it. He spent a considerable amount of time on it and made a couple of phone calls for assistance. I sincerely believe he did all he could do. Like he said when I called, we'll take a look at it and we won't charge you a dime if we can't fix it. True to his word, he didn't. After a few days of looking for our last key to our vehicle, we decided to call B-OK Locksmith to find out what the process would take to get a new key made without a key to copy from. The lady who answered the call was very professional and helpful in guiding me through the process. We had a technician sent to us same day (within hours) who had keys ready for us within the hour of showing up. Joe was VERY professional and kind to my whole family. He even showed my kids, from a distance, how a lock works as they were all very curious. Here's to hoping we never need a locksmith again, but if we do, we will DEFINITELY be calling B-OK Locksmith (and if possible asking for Joe).

Was stuck in Palm Desert in a 2016 Toyota RAV4!....lost the key at Coachella music fest...........called a local Locksmith that worked SEVERAL HOURS on it but could not get the job done. A+++ a great experience with this locksmith. I was having issues with a door and spoke to Janel several days before the actual appointment. She asked me to text photos of the lock in question just so that they would be prepared as I told them I needed it fixed same day. The morning of my appointment, I was given a courtesy call while B OK was on their way, a super nice young man named Isaac. He fixed my lock in no time flat and explained the problem as to why the lock hadn’t been catching. Super easy to work with B OK - super responsive - and I received a follow up call to make sure everything had gone smoothly. Highly recommend!!!!!

We were in a dire situation with an unfortunate loss for the family and then lost keys on top of that. I called at least 6 locksmiths. Some did not answer at all (and never returned messages even though it was around 1:30pm on Friday). I called B OK and Janelle answered immediately, was professional and kind and had no problem giving a solid quote over the phone which just happened to be at least $100 less than the other companies called. We set a same day appointment for between 3 and 4pm. Joe called 15 minutes before arriving, called when he arrived and all on time and as promised. He was very friendly, completely professional, made a couple of set of keys for us, no upcharges, no sales pitch and all for much less than the average locksmith in the valley. I have lived here in the Coachella Valley 21 years and I will absolutely recommend B OK Locksmith to anyone that needs their services. Thank you Janelle and Joe, you helped make a bad week a bit brighter.

B-OK Locksmith? More like B-AWARE Locksmith! I had one mailbox key and my kids lost it. I knew I needed a new key so I called B-Aware Locksmith. The lady who answered was polite, they came out later that day, installed a new lock and made three keys to go with. All was good service-wise, however my mail carrier saw my wife a couple days after and asked if she got the mail and key that he left in our mailbox. See, my kids left the key hanging from the lock. He says when that happens, he locks it in the mailbox assuming people have more than one key, if not and he sees the box filling up, he brings the mail and key to the front door. So after learning that, I called Joe, the owner of the locksmith company and asked him about it. He got offended, overly defensive and said there is no way one of his guys would ever take the key. I told him I was concerned that ANYTHING would be removed from my mailbox but all I wanted to do is make him aware and possibly get my Grunt Style keychain back. After a heated exchange, he said he would look into it and call me back. Well, he did and then informed me that in fact, my key and keychain had been taken. He brought it back to my house that same evening but was still offended that I “accused” his company of stealing anything. He couldn’t understand why something being taken from my mailbox without any intention of it being given to me would be considered stealing. He was rude and the whole situation was handled very poorly. I cannot think of a single reason why ANYTHING should EVER be taken out of a mailbox when they are being trusted with that much security concern.

I would give these folks 6 stars if I could. They arrived exactly on time and re-keyed 3 doors, including the front door which had been "tampered" with. Someone in my household thought himself to be a qualified locksmith. (All I did was create more work for the B-OK guys). Work was done quickly and professionally; and their prices are very reasonable. This company is now on my computer "Rolodex." Would not go anywhere else for future work!
