WOW. I have tried many other locksmiths in the past. Usually you get one of two things. Good service and expensive or poor service and cheap. This will be my go to locksmiths. Not only was my call answered promptly, but a few questions were answered without any feeling of rush. I promptly drove down and had 17 keys cut in about 4 minutes. This would have been at least 45 minutes at Canadian Tire, at twice the cost. Go see the good guys at Acme and support a small business.

Excellent service. I went in thinking that I would have to completely replace a lock barrel for an old sliding door lock that got stuck. The gentleman offered to take a look. He cleaned it out and re- lubricated it , and it works like new now.....and at NO CHARGE !! Now that is service that is hard to come by nowadays. I will be bringing all my future business to Acme Safe from now on. Also I had a hard to find antique trunk key that I could not find a replacement for at other stores. The fellow found one that was similar, ground it down to fit my trunk......great service that was not found elsewhere in Victoria.

I had purchased a new car with a Thule bike rack. My friend to sold it to me had lost the key to lock the rack. So I was surprised by the high cost, he then proceeded to tell me that they were the cheapest in town. So I went to home depot, spent $8 on a new lock, and I replaced it myself under 5 minutes. Shame on you!

I called about getting a key fob programmed for my car (I had the fob already) and was told it may not work but they had a fob in stock that I could use if mine didn’t. If my fob worked, I’d only have to pay for the cutting of the key and the time for the work ($10 + $50). If it didn’t work, I’d have to pay for the cutting of the key, the work and his fob. Sounds good. I went to do the work and neither fob worked and he charged me anyway. So, I’m out $68 and still don’t have a fob.
