Called to have locks rekeyed on a rental so that I could ensure ease of access for myself as landlord - in case of emergency (like burst pipes) for repair purposes and despite being advised that a key would be provided to tenants and that this was not a situation where a tenant was being locked out they refused to assist as "against their policy".

Misquoted and then yelled and hung up when I inquired about the price that is double what I was quoted. When I called back I was threatened by the owner, he mentioned that he knew where I lived. So scary, don't give them your business, Al Beck's is right down the street and treat people with respect.

Quick service and very friendly staff. Only took about 20 minutes to get a new key fob for my car. The dealership wanted to charge me $250 for the fob and programming and they supplied the fob and programmed it for only $85 amazing deal! Highly recommend this place amazing service!

Town Lock & Key was quick to respond and to help us out when we were in a bind. An employee accidentally locked our work truck keys in the back canopy. The canopy lock was rare and secure. We were stranded and unable to gain access to tools on a jobsite until Town Lock & Key showed up to help us out. High recommend their services. Great Service ! A few weeks ago my truck "died" due to a faulty ignition module. The mechanic said it would cost about $1000 to replace and it would take 6-8 weeks for the part.I would have to rent a vehicle for that duration. I called About-Town because I had dealt with them in the past. Their technician was able to rebuild the module and had my vehicle going the NEXT DAY and at a fraction of the cost! Great work guys! You saved me a bundle!

One of my commercial tenants had an emergency. The lock was jammed and the businesses classes started in 30 minutes. Tenant could not gain access into her place of business. McDowall locksmith was at the building within 20 minutes and fixed the problem. This is just one example of the great service you will receive. Highly recommended.

Quoted one price over the phone, given higher price after service was performed. When I questioned the price one owner became defensive the other insulting. You can't place a price on in integrity. I do not feel the two owners operated with integrity.

If you've searched for reviews on other locksmiths that can assist with a new car key fob and/or fix your existing one; look no further! About Town Lock & Key *is* the place you want to go to! I dealt with Richard who was excellent, ordered me a new key fob and fixed the issues with my existing one in no time! Auto Key was closer but their price kept increasing ridiculously within a period of two months which was comparable to the quotes you'd get at a dealership.
