I have been using A1 Locksmiths for over a decade.My Criminal attorney brother and my father(deceased in 2007)attorneys,nine others,four judges and a state representative decided to settle their 12.01 FEDERAL Capitol crime(directly under MURDER.)using my inheritance.I am living on a stipend while they are using my money to pay people at places like defender(home no-security),and A1 locksmith.I spent 6k trying to get security,alas they actually made it easier for ANYONE to get in. 4 wills were stolen and rewritten to divert all money to my CRIMINAL lawyer brother.I have supported his wife and two teenagers since 1992,when I graduated from nursing school.He and his wife have made false allegations(absurd)and I have not finished regarding A1.I have to bar my doors and in quasi false imprisonment, because if I leave,they will get what remains.6K to A1, a safe I never had the master code, and locks that are push button,but I was never told the master code and it was opened within 2 days.My grandfathers Phi Beta Kappa key was gone.Because of an employee (who is no longer there,thank god) who promised to do what I felt was necessary, Valeria Ackerman RN/bc ANCC post my real name please.

I used there service the other day and it the man told me he would get here in 30 minutes, but instead took well over an hour. He yelled at me for having a bad door when he had difficulty opening it at first. Once he manged to open the door, he took my keys from me and refused to give me them until I handed him the money. He also blocked me through the driveway. Worst service I've ever had.

A complete rip off. They advertise saying they would charge 20$ and I was charged 360$ just to drill a whole in the existing lock and fixing a new one. This is a bloody scam for all the new comers in Toronto. I happened to speak to my friends later and was told I could literally get a new door fixed for the same price I paid for a stupid door knob. If it wasn’t an emergency i would just hope I dint call these guys. Fake advertising and overcharging scam artists!????????

Horrible customer service, as soon as we stepped in, before even a word was said the man at the counter had an upset look in his face like he was bothered to receive customers. once we asked for pricing we were quoted outrageous pricing. We asked to cut keys on a car without programming and even higher if programmed. we thought wed give this location a try attempting to support an actual brick and mortar locksmith. my first experience at this location will be the last and will not be recommending.

I bought a used car and was directed there with a receipt to get my keyless entry fob. This was over year ago. I showed up and was told it will take a while to program my car. I used my lunch time for this so I figured one hour would not be enough. I returned later. On my return it took less than 10 minutes to program my car and get the fob. I had to wait about 20 minutes before though. It was nearly impossible to get their attention since they were busily working on their stuff and clearly expecting you to know they're busy. Very cold reception for a prepaid service in my opinion. Fast forward to today, the fob is not working even after having the battery replaced. I showed up and told them. He said the battery might be dead. I explained it had been replaced. He said then the fob is short or something like that. It needs to be replaced for like a $100. I mentioned that I got it from them. Their response was that the warranty was for 6 months. And without missing a beat he asked if I wanted to buy another fob for about $100. I declined and left. My thoughts: Does a fob have a life expectancy of barely over a year?? If I bought one for about $100 over a year ago and now I'm back at your store getting the same thing, won't you bother to find out why the first one you sold me didn't last? It could genuinely be my fault and I'm ok with that. But to hurriedly sell me a replacement without any attempt whatsoever to find out why is not a sign of good service. I can live with the cold attitude but not the negligence I felt.

The guy they sent out was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried charging a ridiculous amount to begin with. After not agreeing with the price and trying to negotiate he was getting frustrated and saying inappropriate things. He kept rolling his eyes and speaking under his breath. (or some other horrendous character) I believe that they think that breathing counts as good communication and fine manners, but sorry, it does not. I stopped by to check if they could cut a key for my car, and by the time I left I was happy that they didn't threw the key on my face, not very friendly...I was surprise they did not wear war paint on their faces! I called Key Rescue Who told me it be $15 just to come out and do a service call plus whatever the tech needed to charge after two days of phone calls with them I finally get somebody to tell me an estimate cost. It would’ve been $15 +65 or more for them to pop up in my safe. I called A-1 !and they told me a flat rate of $30 and no more. I get there and Jeff and James saved my day James Jimmie to screwdriver into it and popped it open and didn’t even charge me! You guys have my business for life and my high recommendations if I ever need anything again with locks you will be the first people I call and spend my hard earned money on! Horrible. Don't be fooled by the "Christian" tag nor the $24 service fee. We simply needed someone to come out and fix a lock that had broken in our home. We' weren't locked out or anything...just needed a broken lock fix. We knew there would be an additional charge for labor and parts but we still expected to see $24 on our bill for the service fee...not the shocking $75 that we were charged. Overall bill...$190 to replace a door knob. The 15 minutes is also a joke. They told us the technician would be out sometime between 1 and 5. Since this wasn't an emergency situation I was ok with that. I was not ok with the technician showing up at 5:30 without a courtesy call to let us know he would be later than expected nor a simple apology for the lateness. When we called to question the bill and complain about the lateness of the technician and our overall dissatisfaction we were told there was nothing they could do. Well, here's what I can do. Post this bad review on every possible place I can find online. Thank's for nothing A-1.

I had a appointment window today from 9am-1pm. I mentioned to the lady that was quite a window. And she correctly stated that it's better to have a wide window than to have disappointed customers. I said that I needed to pick up my grandson from school at 3:15pm. And she assured me that this would be no problem. I took it upon myself to leave the office early today to insure I will be home during this window. Around 12:30pm no technician or phone call. I called A1 and spoke with a gentleman (pretty professional) who told me the tech was just finishing up at another location. While talking to him I received the call from the technician. He informed me that he won't be at my home until 2pm. Quite naturally I wasn't pleased with this. If I would've got a phone call at 11am I would have had a much different response. The tech expressed to me that DeSoto is nearly out of their service area. Which is completely irrelevant as there should have never been an appointment made in the first place if this was a pivotal issue. He then suggested that I call Pop a lock to get service. If any of my agents decided to tell a client to go to a competitor I would immediately reprimand them. But what's worse about this story is it tells me that either the company or this particular employee doesn't respect my time. And this exhibits a poor example of quality customer service. You can get more money.. You can get more assets. But once your time is squandered it's gone forever.

MICHAEL was Very Helpful, VERY Professional, Very pleasant and we got best customer service. We were done in 30 minutes. Tho about $50 expensive then Ace hardware or anyone around we got quotes from but Only these guys had this model Key Fob instock and did it having to make an Without Appointment. Terrible communication and technician! Did not provide complete information prior to locksmith coming. Locksmith was extremely rude without a thought to customer service. Talked over us several times. This was not at all a pleasant experience.

We came home early one morning after collecting family members from DFW to discover that the door fixture from the garage to our kitchen had literally fallen to pieces. I tried to remove it, thinking that this would be a simple replacement of one locking fixture with another. After a while, I could get the assembly partially done, but the main locking shaft would not budge. THAT is when I called A-1 Locksmith. They said that it was a busy day, but maybe they could fit me in between 10 a.m. and noon. About 11:15 a.m., they called to apologize that their locksmith was hung up with a job for 7-11 much longer than he had though. They promised that he would be there within 90 minutes, and he was there in an hour! Benjamin came in, asked if he could enter our house without shoe covers (THAT is considerate!) and then he looked at the garage door. He asked, "HOW OLD is this lock????" - - 1955. He said, "I've never seen one like this but I've heard of them." I turned my back, turn around, and he had the lock off. There was a tiny dimple on the shaft that only required the right tool, a push, and it would slide off. He rebored the door, replaced the lock with a modern black fixture, and he said anything else??? Heck, this was 15 minutes! I said, "sure, how about looking at our front door too." Same thing. In 30 minutes, he had replaced the front door bolt with the SAME KEY AS THE GARAGE DOOR!! THAT makes life simple. He then checked our patio door, gave a squirt of some locksmith "grease", and it works like new. ALL OF THIS WAS LESS THAN $150. These are terrific locksmiths!!! If you have a problem, BE SURE TO ASK FOR BENJAMIN. He is friendly, professional, and he will solve all of your problems.

Called asking for help getting into my car, a gentleman picked up that spoke very poor English. After our talk and me not feeling comfortable with him, I then decided to use my roadside assistance from progressive instead. The man still showed up and lied to me when I asked if he was sent to me by progressive road side. After finally getting him to admit he wasn’t with progressive roadside, he copped an attitude and made me pay $25 for his trip out. I paid to not create a problem. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Was going to use you to help rekey a few vehicles. I am asking for a REFUND as I found this RIDICULOUS. The real roadside assistance rep showed up moments after and did an excellent job.
