Lost our keys, dealership was over priced and needed the vehicle to be towed to them. This guy came out right to the vehicle and got us all sorted out. Obviously well stocked with keys and fobs and easy going about a tough situation. Some of the reviews here are correct in saying he may be a bit short with you but he was upfront, honest and that's all I really wanted when getting the run around form everyone else.

I'm not sure why this man has really bad reviews. He was incredibly nice and helpful with us. He even came to our hotel to pick up our car key and drove it back to us to help us out. He also talked to us about the problem and the solution in detail and with expertise. Really glad we called him to help.

I can't speak highly enough of Joe and Bow Valley Locksmithing. I was recommended to Joe by a friend, as I recently lost my main set of car keys (with a remote). Joe was quickly able to have the key and remote available (based on my car model) and met with me to program the key. It took no more than 20 minutes and saved me at least $200, which I would have been charged had I of gone to the dealership. If you're looking for efficiency and affordability, definitely go see Joe! To address the sour review below, I got my key copied yesterday and I promise you, I am a real person who benefited from this service! :)

I also do not know why he has some negative reviews. Joe drove to Banff to fix our key as soon as I made the phone call. He was very knowledgable about his craft, and had a new key for us within 5 minutes. We were in a tight situation, and he helped resolve it in a short time. Thanks Joe!

I have high expectations, and Joe over delivered. He is so knowledgeable, to the point, and his service is efficient and convenient. I lost my keys and would have had to tow 2 hours into the city to get help from the dealership. Joe met me road side and solved my problem with ease and gave me great information and advice (on top of having all the keys stocked). He is an expert. Thanks Joe!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN - Joe is his name. We had the misfortune of having to deal with him on two occasions and both times, he rarely showed up, if he did, he was rude, obnoxious, and downright mean. He never answers his phone and God forbid if you try to reach him on weekends or after business hours. Do yourselves a favour and call a reliable Calgary locksmith - the extra $ you many have to spend is TOTALLY worth it. Businesses like Bow Valley Locksmithing should be shut down by the rest of the business community.

Do not call this business. I had them unlock my vehicle for me after I locked my keys inside. The work was done by a person named Joe. He was the most absolutely unprofessional arrogant person I have ever met! He put a large dent in the hood of my vehicle and caused damage to my door. Took the paint off to bare metal on the inside and outside frame of my vehicle. This cost me $800 in a additional body work after he charged me $280 and wanted it in cash for my vehicle to be unlocked. As to the damage he caused. He denied doing it and his response was "that's my problem, not his"

Joe is a truly life saver! We lost our car key and he was able to get us back on the road in 20 mins!!! (Otherwise we would have to get the car towed to a dealership in Calgary because other locksmiths in town couldn’t help) He came extremely quickly under a short notice and brought a handful of equipments. If you get stuck in the area, I highly recommend to give him a call! He is experienced, knowledgeable, and most of all get your problem solved!!! P.S. The business is actually open for 24 hrs and located in Canmore. The info on Google is not correct.

Please don't put something on your website that you can't fix. It says on your website about remote keys and when I called about it you said you won't touch it and sounded rude. Just close your business if you don't want to be disturbed. I think everybody that gave you 5 stars here aren't even real people.

We lost our car keys on a hike on the Sunday of the May long weekend. Left Joe a message, he responded promptly and once I had gotten off the trail he was at our vehicle to help us within 15 minutes. Not only was he prompt to help us on a long weekend, but he was nothing but kind and gave us extremely fair pricing...especially considering the after hours emergency call. Great service, would definitely recommend!

I can't say enough about the great service Joe provided. We needed a spare key for our Toyota and none of the dealers in Calgary had one in stock. It was going to take up to two weeks to special order one and they wanted $50 for the key and another $75 to program it! By contrast, Joe met my wife at her workplace, cut and programmed the key in less than 15 minutes and charged 35 percent less. Way to go, Joe!
