Great experience with this company! I've never required locksmith services before so after a quick google search, they were one of the first to come up. Glad I called Canlock. Was told the technician would arrive in around 20 mins during the initial call. The technician then called to say they would be 30 mins...and then additional 20 mins when I called again. I ended up waiting almost 2 hours. When they did arrive, they charged $225 to open it with an airbag in less than a minute. I called back to check pricing and they stated it would be $20 for the service call and $40+ for the service. $225 was a lot more than I was expecting since their website also states it's a "Free Service Call" and $20 to unlock so the amount I paid felt pretty unreasonable?? I'd rather buy that airbag he used for $25 smh.

My team and I were closing a project in Forest Hill and had a front door mortise lock set malfunction that rendered the door unusable 8h before clients were to have the house handed to them. The Canadian Locksmith team produced a technician within the 45min @9pm. He was professional and extremely competent and was able to disassemble the reassemble a relatively unique lockset and fix the issue. Anyone looking for a service that clearly represents their craft...look no further and hire these guys. They are the best!!!

Hello my name is Mike, and I never had a better service than this one, I called caplock because i lost my keys, my kids, wife and I was in the car, and we all was in panic because we can’t go into the house, and you will never believe ! in 10 minutes came a young guy named Ed, answers all our questions and gave us fair price, he was really friendly, tell fun story’s to my kid, laugh with us, the point is that he tried to calm us, and he did, mean while speaking with us he worked on the lock, and after 15 minutes the door was opened, the lock was changed and every thing was clean ! ONE WORD ! PROFESSIONAL !

As I live in a condo where all locks were changed by one company (not to be named) to the Medeco lock, I had to call that particular locksmith. Got runaround - too busy, call after hours (which I did but got no answer). I could not lock my door as key would not go into the lock. Called Canadian Locksmith on Millway in Vaughan. Locksmith (Ido) was here within the hour and was totally amazing. He fixed the problem of my key not going into the lock and did not leave until the door could practically lock/unlock itself. He was so helpful and nice. It was obvious he loved his job. Sorry for the long review, but amazing service. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Hi All, Do not call these people. On the website they say it will cost $20 to unlock my vehicle. The person on the phone said, that was the service fee and it would be $45 more to unlock my truck. Okay, I was good with that. I'm all about Supporting local business. The person that showed up told me immediately $185. When I said that was unreasonable, he was very rude and told me what it's going to cost. I insisted that was unreasonable, and said I could get a CAA membership for less than that, with tows. Then he tried to scam me out of $140, then said $120 being the full price of a CAA membership+. Once again do not call these people!!! Scam, Scam, Scam!

While the service was prompt and the technician was professional, I was highly disappointed by pricing practice of this company. I had an internal room door which I couldn't find the key to open. When I called the company and explained my problem, they advised it was a $15 service call and would charge $35+ depending on severity of job. When the technician arrived and looked at my problem he quoted $165 to open the door. I inquired what work they do at $35, and he advised it was to install a lock. I had specifically explained my issue to the dispatcher, and had I known that unlocking doors would be that significant of an increase, I would have looked for another solution. Furthermore, after I agreed to paying the charge, the technician was able to resolve the issue in less than 3mins with a tool that most people would have in their toolbox. To me, I felt very misled by how this company quoted the job and it seemed to lack transparency that a reputable business should be expected to offer.

Sure they will get the door opened but they use sleezy sales tactics. First they quote 900$ and 600$ and then drop the price if they feel that you are going to bounce. Would not recommend. Please be transparent from the beginning so that you don't leave sour taste in your customer's mouths.

Scammers. First of all their website had a pricelist. Service call is one price but opening a locked door had a way cheaper price than what he said when he came. Also, they force you when they're with you to write a 5 star review so you get a "discount." LOL, YOU DO THAT TO EVERYBODY. So all these reviews are FORCED because they got a "discount." But you will still pay a ridiculous amount.
