Our buying of another house was not planned at first. My husband and I were just talking one night about moving to a bigger house and as I was on my Instagram account, Mortgage Alliance Advance Mortgage came to my feed,,the only mortgage company that showed up on my feed. This might be the "sign", I said to my husband. I went to their website just like a curious mouse to see what they offer. I filled out their form and in a few minutes got an email from Brenda Mackay telling me that she will contact me in the morning and she did. Jessica was so amazing to work with and is definitely the reason we were able to build our new home! With my husband and I both being self employed, that in and of itself makes our situation instantly more difficult and virtually impossible to talk directly to a bank and actually be taken seriously. That combined with needing to buy a bare lot in one transaction from its private owner and then needing a mortgage for the new construction in a second transaction to the builder, the difficulties and oddities of our situation were really stacking against us. But Jessica, didn't even hesitate and instantly said she would work to get us an offer, and work she did! She was available whenever we needed her, whether we just wanted an update or had any questions or concerns. After the first transaction went thru and we owned the lot, the bank was then asking for a ridiculous amount down (almost 40%!) for the new construction loan and that just didn't seem fair to us and we were starting to have a panic attack that we were now stuck with a mortgage on a bare lot and no way to build on it! However, Jessica didn't even flinch, she got right back to work and just continued to work on our file going everywhere trying to find a better offer. She did initially find one that would have worked but still not our ideal scenario, and I think sensing that and being the supporter that she is, she continued to work and eventually found us the exact deal we were looking for; the right down payment, a great rate with the rate hold we needed to be able to complete the construction and all before the new mortgage rules came in to effect. This is a short review that took 5 minutes but Jessica worked hard for almost 4 MONTHS to get this to happen for us! We never once felt like she was annoyed, frustrated, or ready to be done with us (although she very easily could have) and we never felt forced into taking an offer that wasn't right for us, or like she was just trying to make a sale. We are 500% satisfied with her service, mortgage knowledge, work ethic, and really just her personable approach to help making your dreams come true. We don't plan to move any time soon so unfortunately will not have the pleasure to work with her again in the near future, but we will certainly be recommending her to anyone and everyone we hear is looking for a new mortgage!
