This is beyond the worst company to deal with. My husband has never missed a payment he was on the rate reduction program. I ended up buying a new vehicle through Hyundai finance, and they took my husbands loan over as he lost his job to covid. I have proof that IA finance has been paid in full. They continued to take payments out even though Hyundai finance paid them off in full two weeks ago. My bank account is now in the negative because I had two car loan payments come out on the same day! So now I sit here with my bank in the negative having to fork out NSF fees on top of this for an already paid loan. We called them to rectify this only to be told oh well and I was hung up on 2 times because I am not travis Gron my husband. Not only that but my husbands credit will go from a 720 to who knows what because of a missed payment that never should have been taken out in the first place. Please avoid this company at all costs!

Scam alert! Stay clear of these guys. They charge a crazy daily interest and when you try to trade your vehicle off to get out of this loan they drag there feet and lie about it so they can continue to charge interest daily. I had a loan through these liars and traded that vehicle off.the dealership sent them a cheque with overnight delivery. They cashed the cheque right away but continued to charge me they claimed they didn't get the cheque until I told them not only did they get it but cashed it. After threatening to file a claim with BBB they refunded me part of the money but claimed the over night cheque took 2 weeks and charged me interest on it. Sooooo glad to be out from under these con artists. Only take a car loan from these liars if you intend on defaulting and not paying or you will get screwed.

Not sure what all the fuss is about in these reviews. They are easy to deal with, if you read the fine print and understand what you're doing you wont have issues. High interest? You have bad credit, get over it. For the age of the vehicle and my credit score not being absolutely amazing, sub 9% interest is quite good.

They promised to work with me through COVID. I was told I was get a federal payment. They came and towed my car away during the COVID lockdown. I am a single Mom with three kids. My two year old has been in the hospital for days and now they took my car?!? The payment was almost as much as my COVID check. Disgusting.

Very rude employees, unknowledgeable, very disorganized - when explaining a situation, response is " it is what it is" third party lenders hire third party people! Unfortunatley I give this company a -1000 stars. The individuals who are employed are liars, and do not know what they are really calling people for - they make a pay cheque calling people trying to collect $$$ .. If I could give less stars I would, extremely unhappy with this company! They sent me someone else’s account I told them that wasn’t my account and they proceeded to email me as to why those payments were that price and I explained to them that it wasn’t my account ( they broke the privacy law ) I asked for a supervisor to email me regarding the missing payments on their end that came out of my bank account that my bank tells me was automatically deposited into their account (which is theft of payments). Which they reported to the credit bureau was missing, causing it to affect my credit score (which is fraud of my credit score) then when I finally tell them again that I was taking further action, taking it to the credit bureau and better business bureau they finally have a supervisor email me to tell me to call. Which I then explained due to missing call recordings I was not calling that it is to go through email so I have written proof of the conversation. They have given me the run around for over a month! Plus he interest is 16.99% with missing payments I cannot refinance. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

Worst company ever. I agree with most of the reviews. My ex an I bought a car about 3 years ago we're told the same lies. My problem now is we split she has the car, keep in mind a payment has never been missed ever, the car was bought as a second car that was for her and she was the major on the contract and had the better credit. She still has the car all I want is my name off the loan they have made it impossible to do. Just to take me off, like I said payment never missed she makes all the payments I have absolutely nothing to do with the car at all. I've tried to explain and talk with them as others have said very rude and it is what it is, will offer you no assistance at all. I will never use this company and never recommend any place that uses them. I had other joint accounts with my ex and this is the only place that is impossible to deal with ????????????????????????

I have had terrible customer service over the past 2 weeks. I have been trying to contact customer service via email, with no reply, or with little or irrelevant information. I was actually considering switching to a different auto finance company. I had the privilege of speaking to one of the consultants today, Danielle. She was absolutely amazing! She was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and was able to answer my questions, and resolve my situation immediately! The 5 stars is for Danielle, who is an amazing representative! Thank you! They scam you into a high interest loan telling you that if you make your payment on time that the interest goes down each year - they forgot to tell ppl that it caps out still at a high rate and you will basically pay for the car 3 times over! Yes I could have had a high end luxury vehicle for what I have paid for a Toyota! Disgusting.

If I could give a company negatives instead of stars I would. We have issues practically from the get go with this company. A few months after we purchased our van we had an issue with a payment being missed they immobilized our vehicle immediately and without notice. We called in to figure this out and get it working again. They made us wait over a week for it to be working again so my husband missed a week of work since he had to commute 45 minutes away for his job. They put an immobilizer on our vehicle right at the dealership, like we were some criminals or children. They also talked my husband into renegotiating our contract and telling them it would be better and it didn't. Which actually extended it but didn't reduce the payments. We have paid over 3x the value of our used vehicle and have been harassed and hounded almost on a monthly basis. Buyer Beware..Do Not Use This Company..!!

Everyone complains but you signed the paper. This company allows a wide range of candidates to apply. Customer service has been nothing but great to me. Just remember what you are signing, because if you are planning on buying a 15g car over 4 years. It will cost you 30g. Be prepared. Its what comes with high interest rates.

iA Auto has been impossible to deal with. Poor customer service and horrible process. They lied to me about payment deferral information and continued to charge me when I was laid off due to Covid. On top of that i was charged NSF fees twice and not refunded. They are the worst!!! I was also told i should be grateful for their help, support and forgiveness during covid. PFFFFFTTTT!!!! WHAT?!?!

Worst company ever. I have paid over $10,000 on a $25,000 loan so far and according to iA Auto Finance, if I were to buy-out my loan today, it would cost me over $24,000 to own my vehicle?! Complete scam and fraudulent company. No matter how bad you need or want a vehicle, do NOT deal with this company unless you want to pay three to four times as much as your car is worth. Find another way to build your credit before considering a car loan because you're likely to get a much better interest rate and lower payment elsewhere.

There is no honor with these people. They, lie, and steal. $100.00 for NSF payment. Which by the way was their fault. What’s with two payments within three days of each other. To be honest my car was on its last legs! This company literally saved my life. I had a credit rating of almost the lowest it would go. They financed me to get a new to me car...yes the interest is high. But also an extra 10 bucks a week shaves a lot of time off my loan. As well as the reducing interest rate. Had they not helped me I would be in a unreliable car unable to get to my job. 2 years later I'm still happy with their service and my consistent payments will lower my interest rate again next month. They took a risk on my with my mid 300 credit score and I appreciate that. ????

I have a complaint about a guy named Naweed or Naveed that works for IA Auto payment department. He was very rude and unprofessional. He don't know how to talk to customers. He is not helpful at all. He keeps giving a hard time just to schedule a missed payment. I hope people that works in these departments take their job seriously and know how to handle their customers request with respect and responsibility.

New dealership sent my buy out check a week before my payment was to come out and it was signed for by reception Paige and its date and time stamped to delivery being received from purolator!! Then the dealership confirmed the cheque was in fact cashed and now a whole week later still waiting for my payment to be returned to me which was to be deposited by email transfer due to the “mix up” today end of business day !! Guess what still nothing, they are theifs and do not stand behind their word!! No matter how desperate you are to finance a vehicle I would suggest going anywhere but here.

Called in to ask a few questions, had my initial welcome call today with Jenelle she went literally ABOVE and BEYOND covering every single detail in regards to my contract and new auto loan. I must say I’m impressed with my first interaction with IA Auto Finance. 2 car loans later and I can actually say that. None of the previous lenders I ever dealt with provided me with a welcome call nor were they even willing to answer questions in regards to my loan. It’s almost like a breath of fresh air dealing with these guys I’ll actually look forward to calling in and speaking with the reps from IA. Please keep up the great work!! Whatever phenomenal customer service training classes you guys have in place for your employees is clearly reflected over the phone and for that I thank you IA Auto Finance. I've financed two cars with this company and I have had nothing but great service with them. I even missed a payment on the first car I had, and I called when I realized my situation and it was as simple as making a double payment on my next payment. Also having financed multiple vehicles through them, they did give me a far better interest rate on the second vehicle. Great service and a great place to finance through if your credit is less than stellar.

IA auto finance is a predatory finance group. Extremely high interest rates and zero room to defer payments. Their idea of helping is to miss one payment and spit it up into 3 and tack it onto your next 3 payments. So if you owe $300 bi weekly, you’ll skip 1 $300 payment and your next 3 payments will be $400. Absolutely look around for a better company. Under no circumstance go with IA Auto financing! You’ve been warned!

Would have given them a ZERO STAR if was possible for Dishonesty. After Paying for over a year with ridiculous 25% Interest rate and Promising a rate reduction after 1 year without missing a payment, they have agreed to reduce the Interest Rate to 22%. That will not even put a dent on your payment. I feel like i was ripped off. Do not use this financial institution if you are buying a car. you will be fooled.

Very poor customer service they treat customers like a collection agency when you call in. They screwed up our payments and now we are paying extra on top of their sky high interest rates. And of course the calls are put through to a call center where nobody is accountable and no actual manager existing that can accommodate customer needs, it's the call center way or the high way.

Typical sub prime auto finance company, simply to say loan shark, this type of companies are created to suck people in and squeeze every last penny. This company is not the only one so avoid this one and similar. These type of business ALWAYS have HUGE interest rate, HUGE hidden fees and charges (for example 100 bucks NSF FEE WHICH IS , a ROBERY) also according to reviews of former employees (check Glassdoor and Indeed they do train them to make up random charges as long as it has word "FEE" on it. 15000 car will cost you over 50 000 if you finance through them remember.

These people took a partial payment out of my bank account and called me for days about the other half of my payment. Payments were scheduled to come out every other week and for some reason only half of my payment came out and that was my fault. I called customer service and they didn't have any answers, they had maybe's of why this happened. They told me they couldn't pass me on to anybody else that had answers. This finance company is a complete joke with horrible customer service.

They acknowledge the loan has a zero balance but refuse to refund any money they have wrongly taken. Completely unethical business practices with incompetent staff that refuse to help in anyway. When you ask for a supervisor or manager no matter what time or day of the week they are never available or in the office. I'll be filing with the BBB asap

Has anyone ever had a problem with making a claim? I knew from the beginning I'd have it hard to try and file a claim. The person who signed my vehicle for me has unfortunately passed away. Their worry 12 companionship is complete bogus. I've been waiting almost a week for a call back from the head honcho. It's been a run around and they think they can just get away with their high interest rate finances. I paid 1749 for their silly life insurance that falls on a throne of lies. I've had nothing but the run around with these guys since I've called. I've called and left messages with ctv, global bc and the dealership which they do not know why they are not considering this claim. They take take take and the other reviews speak for themselves this company is highway robbery. I am currently waiting for a dealership to call me back and help me even though it was not through them. They are doing everything they can to help me. Fkn bogus company and their silly lying tactics. ????

Haven't had any problems with this company . I made all my payments but one a couple years ago so I called cause I knew the funds wouldn't be in my account. They said no problem we'll just put that payment onto the end of your term . I called yesterday cause I knew my loan term was coming to an end and wanted to know the exact date . The lady was very helpful AND told me because I was so good with my payments over the years they would wave $100 of the payment that I missed! Absolutely no wait time on the phone as well . Great service !

Extremely unhappy and very frustrated with this company I was originally with CTL and IA Auto came in and bought out my loan from CTL. Recently I had contacted a dealership to upgrade my vehicle and they contacted me back to mention that I was unable to upgrade due to my missed/late payments, I was in shock because I had not missed a single payment. I have now just discovered that a year-and-a-half worth of my payments were marked down as missed or late and I was charged $100 fee for every payment that was missed or lateby IA Auto. They have refused to reverse any of the fees or to correct the status on my credit report which by the way has taken a massive hit from this company they have refused to look into my account to even prove whether or not my payments we received missed or late. At the beginning of March 2019 I had contacted IA auto and ask them for a buyout value they told me my value was $9,700 I asked it that included the interest that was ALREADY calculated to the end of term and they assured me that it was not after looking into it it turns out that the $9,700 value does include interest until the end of term I told them i was not paying that value because you cant changer me 12months interest if I am buying out my loan today, told them to send me a value that doesnt include interest calculated to end of term. I had asked for a letter of their offer so that I had proof of value when I go to pay my loan it is April 15th and I am still waiting on that letter they have tried to pull money from my account they have not tried to contact me I've called them several times and I keep getting the person who is dealing with your file is not in today like a lot of other people I fully agree that this company is a scam if I could give zero Stars I would if I could have bought my loan out years ago I would have I do not recommend this company to anybody. Ps I am still waiting for a letter/phone call back.
