It was only about 9 months ago, that I was is 79k in debt, paying on 6 loans. I was paying on 2 line of credits, a high interest credit card, a student loan, a car payment, and family debt. I felt so overwhelmed, and to a degree embarrassed, that part of me just wanted to pretend my debt didn't exist. But how the debt was holding me back. It reached the point, I couldn't just ignore it any longer, and I knew things had to change. Although excited of this same possibility for me, I still remained skeptical as I had been burned in the past.
