First and foremost. This company is awful, I signed up for this because I purchased an item. And everything seemed to be going just fine. Then my payments , never seemed to come out at all. I had to make payments, on my own and now they are claiming it is my card that isn't valid. When my card doesn't expire untill two months. If you're really in a tight spot.i wouldn't recommend this company. Just save up and buy the item. Or go through another provider. I would check my billing statements , on my bank account and nothing ever showed them ever making an attempt.
A bunch of unprofessional non trust-worthy people taking money that does not belong to them and gives you the hardest time to refund. No clear dates, no one to talk to and the agents who answer the phone know nothing and can do nothing. They took money beyond the agreement from my account and I have been struggling to get my money back. This business should be shutdown. I highly un-recommend dealing with them
This is the 2nd time I am using the service. The first time everything went great. All payments were charged on the date they were scheduled. This time again everything went smoothtly. I for sure will be using the service whenever I get the option to do so. It's an easy way to not have to pay a big amount upfront, and therefore I can purchase nicer items without breaking the bank.

Terrible experience with customer service. After 2 weeks of correspondence, over phone and email, I got no answers and no help. I got a Security error msg and was told they are having technical difficulties. After applying and reapplying, I was charged (money withdrawn) but told that my application was denied and they couldn't tell me why... I have an excellent credit score, and can't think of any reason why, but I'm just left in the dark guessing. In the end, I just paid for my purchase in full and now I'm just 2 weeks late on receiving my items... Very disappointing, frustrating and confusing experience.

Both Apple and paybright blamed one another and I was stuck calling both companies for my order to get approved for a refund , waited a couple of days to get approved for the refund, it’s been 4 days no refund, no email from The customer service rep. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes to get a hold of someone for their automatic voice to tell me to go on the website for help and hangs up. Now school is 2 weeks away, still no refund to apply for another laptop. Terrible service !!

Tried using PayBright today for a purchase through Apple with their limited no-annual-interest-fee year payment option and after verifying my identity through several means, a security risk was still flagged beside my profile. Incredibly disappointed with their lack of service and inability to verify my identity through security questions over the phone, you know, like how a bank or other reputable institution would. Certainly won't be considering using this service in the future.
I have good credit rating, zero late payments, cash in the bank, zero collections and still was denied. When I called to see they simply said they can't tell my why I was denied. Will just purchase my product like usual. Do not recommend and a little nervous they lowered my score just by scanning.

Tried to buy an iPhone, got pre-approved and placed the order, then I was in the web queue for few hrs as their site was "too busy". After keep trying for half day I got Security Risk message and it cancelled my order, every next order would be automatically canceled as well. Tried to call them, was on the phone queue for 30 min (supposed to be 9 minutes) then heard the funniest message "you've been in the queue for too long, we don't want to keep you waiting on the line, try again later" and hung up. Opened the ticket but no response so far. Ended up purchasing the phone with my credit card - never will use PayBright. No idea why on earth Apple would partner with them. Awful, awful customer service. God forbid you have to contact them for anything. They asked me for a screenshot of the error I was getting and when I replied via email, I received a bounce back telling me their mailbox was full. After that I called in and was told to 'keep trying' till the mail went through, and that's all they could offer. That was three days ago. Horrible service. Never again.
It gave 4 biweekly options which was good but I still think they should give you more options like monthly and at least 6 months payment plans so you can really enjoy your purchases. Nevertheless it was still good.
The service was great for the one time I got to use. In the middle of my payment they sent an email saying that they were not accepting credit cards from my current bank anymore so a payment bounced. Completely out of my control. Payed my current loan with them in full and now they are refusing to do business with me for anything else. Worked great while it was possible. Shame.

I was continuously getting security risk messages and my order was being canceled. I called them a lot of times and every time the agents used to say that they will put a high priority message so that my problem gets solved. It’s been three weeks and I haven’t received any response from them. If there was one star I would have given them that. It is just a scam!
I used PayBright to finance my online purchase for about $1500. It was a very smooth and simple application process for a 6-month loan at point-of-sale with 0% interest and no application fee. They also offer longer 12 and 18 month loans to finance your online purchase with typical APRs comparative to credit card rates. At checkout from the online retailer you choose PayBright, they do a quick approval process, set up the source of your monthly payments (bank, credit card, etc) and then you get a PDF emailed to you with the financing agreement filled out and a payment schedule. It was fully transparent, fast and smooth and I will be sure to look for other retailers that offer PayBright financing now.
I had to cancel my order for a Mac Air as somehow I had picked the wrong city for picking it up. Ann who I dealt with over the phone was so great at helping me figure out what I needed from Apple. She told me “I am going to see you through on this” and she emailed me back the confirmation that the financing had been cancelled. I really appreciated her friendly manner and understanding of my error.

This is the WORST Experience I have ever got from any company. PayBright is a shame to Finance Industry. I have been trying to purchase a mobile phone since September from Apple on monthly installments (Unfortunately Apple has a tie up with PayBright for providing monthly installment plan) but whenever I try to get pre-approval through PayBright, I get rejected due to some error in PayBright's System that reflects that my profile is Flagged. Despite of several attempts to get this error rectified PayBright has done nothing till date. I am tired of making constant follow-up calls and emails. This is very unfortunate that after making false promises and the habit of not delivering them. My emails and requests made on call are also being neglected. As a consumer I am being humiliated even though I deserve all the services like any other customer. It's very depressing that I am being denied for credit multiple times even though I hold above average credit score. I should call this discrimination and selective business dealing.

I had used paybright several times in the past without issue. My credit card was compromised and while waiting for my new card, I missed a payment. I immediately tried to contact paybright to update my payment information. I got hung up on two separate times and got no replies to emails. I figured out how to change the information through my account and did so before they were to attempt to take their payment a second time. Apparently it didn't register (even though it says it was successful on the website). I replied to countless texts and emails that they sent letting me know my payment hadn't gone through. I got an email recently saying that my account has been sent to a debt collector. I replied to this email as I'd done several times before. I actually got a response this time! They tried to tell me that I may have changed the information on a different agreement, but I only had one active agreement. They offered no help. It's ok. I'll pay the balance to the debt collector, but im super disappointed that it went this way. Super upsetting.

Tried to make a purchase using Pay Bright 01/12/2022 and it said I already had an account. Tried to go through the steps and I still couldn't access anything as I've moved a few times and to be honest I don't even remember creating an account with them. Sent them a message through their contact system and received no response. Decided to try calling them and got through to someone who took my updated information and said they would forward it to their tech department to update the information. That was now 7 days ago. They asked me if I could fill in a survey and they didn't even send that, lol. In the meantime, I have tried again multiple times to get in and still could not so I sent them another message 01/17/2022 and still nothing. Won't bother trying to use their service in future. Seems like from the reviews they're not too bad if you can actually use them.

Noted a discrepancy between the amount the Source charged me and what paybright has charged me - requested clarity on why i was being overcharged and the response i received was effectively to contact the Source myself and figure it out. How are there no controls to ensure these amounts are consistent before charging the customer? just unbelievable

The website is very slow and timed out twice during the transaction. Even when I was at the Apple Store and the staff there submitted it for me it timed out again. Very frustrating. The links, etc. worked well and I finally got the transaction done.
AWFUL Service do not use. At first when I signed up with them I thought everything was great. it was a smooth process, got the product I ordered it was easy to set up payments, but then I went to use the remaining credit that I had in my account, at the same store and got turned down. Now I understand that they can certainly take away my credit at any time if they please, but here is where it gets frustrating. I verified in my account that I had the approved credit then went to order, got turned down, went back to my account and typed out a question to them asking why I could not use this approved credit, immediately they send me an email saying sorry we could not approve you blah blah blah can't help you, well that was not my question. So I email them back, same response. Every question I asked same response. You would think there would be some actual human response especially if you are emailing them a few times, clearly the form answer is not doing what it should. Then after all this I get logged out of my account and log back in and my available credit is now 0$ Like come on. Never using this service again. If I were you I'd use another option it is NOT worth it.

The retailer advised Paybright I only received 1 item, and paybright still has not processed the refund. They should allow a below 1 star rating as I would give them -10*

I was really enjoying this service UNTIL I needed to contact customer service. I moved recently and need to update my address. They do not let you do it on your own for some reason and make you contact customer service. Customer service is UNREACHABLE. You can hold for up to 30 minutes then the line will cut you off and tell you to send them a message and they will get back to you but they dont. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for weeks. I am unable to use my account until I change my address and this is causing me a lot of stress. Would not recommend them
Been trying to use Paybright for a large purchase since May. Constantly ran into issues between multiple different error codes. None of their customer service have been able to fix it. Getting a response from them is impossible. Whenever I send any sort of email their canned response just asks for the exact same details that I put in the initial request. They've put 3 hits on our credit because of all the errors.
Applied to be a merchant so I can offer installment plans on my high ticket weight loss and personal trainng packages fir my fitness company and was surprised to discover that Paybright nolonger works with my industry. I'm surprised that this Canadian company will work with fast fashion retailers who sell cheap clothing but won't work with a legitimate business that sells $2000 health and wellness packages. Very disappointing.
The verification process for approval was easy. After that the transaction was processed and boom, the product I was hoping for is now on the way to my door! All this during the black Friday sales event, good job Paybright.
Probably one of the worst customer service I’ve ever run into. If you ever run into an error, which is fairly often when trying to make a purchase through them, it directs you to contact their customer service for help. On average response time to any customer service emails have been well over a month for me, so if you are trying to purchase anything you’ll miss out on any sales or promotions you’re going for because their support team is abysmal in responding to anything. I’ve had an error come up as a security error and submitted a ticket, and got a repose about 2 months later saying that it’s a common error and lots of people get it and telling me to try again and contact them if it happens again. Of course it happened again so I had to wait another month and a half to get any response which didn’t solve any issues and basically just told me that it happens a lot and there’s nothing they can do since they have a common software issue that many people encounter.
I owe 13$ to this company but I had no way of knowing when or from what account the payments would be made so it bounced and I rescheduled it and it was never taken out. I can't update my card or pay it off manually so it will go to collections even though I am trying to pay it off and I have the money. This company is lacking the morals to give consumers reasonable options to pay off debts. Afterpay and Sezzle both off options to update credit cards and pay off manually as this is a serious moral obligation when money is loaned. Paybright doesn't seem to want people to pay back. It's easier for them to send it to collections. This payment was an accident to begin with. I wanted to pay SHEIN by debit and it automatically selected Paybright. I don't recommend using this company because the only way to pay them, which is extremely difficult to find information for, is biweekly and you can't pay manually.

You’re telling me Paybright did not anticipate heavy traffic on the day of iPhone preorders? That, or they did but never thought to make sure their servers would be able to handle the bandwidth. I don’t live anywhere near an Apple Store so a delivery on day 1 would have been ideal. Instead, I am forced to do a pick up and drive 10 hours to my nearest apple store to get my phone. Why do I need a phone that badly on day 1? Because the next day is my daughter’s birthday. This is the chain reaction you have caused in people’s lives. You are not a very well run company. Fix it.
I thought the service was good but I was wrong. They are so horrible. Just because I missed a few payments and it was on collections, they told me I can no longer use their service. Which company does that? And they said there's no credit checks. I tried to call them enough times and and they take to long to reply by email. Even if you want to make a payment early online or pay at a later time you can't do that. I'm so not gunna use paybright again even of they change the policy rules. If you all ask me, Afterpay, Klarna and Sezzle are way better!!!

Easy to use and setup, instant notification of amount you are qualified for but they do not support Canadian reloadable VISA or MC. Given all the data breaches we've seen I would have preferred to attach my reloadable card instead of the actual credit card.

Disappointing. First they say you can buy up to 12,000 then when I link my bank account to PayBright, they say there's a security issue. After 10 days from my initial email and following up I have not received a single response. I missed a deal because of them.
Three agreements were opened, all three deducted amounts out of my bank account. There were no orders placed with the merchant. I have had one refund and still waiting to hear back about the other two. This is disgusting customer service.

First, their app did not store any of my information correctly and then they come back and threaten me with legal action BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING. Do not use this company, some kind of data breach with this kind of sloppy approach is not just very possible but just a question of time. And then all your data will be exposed.

Lady on the phone (on 5th call btw) just told me had no idea what was the status of my refund. Had to contact my bank so they could reverse the charges. Please don't waste your time and money; DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES, what a joke of a company, cannot even process a purchase properly and let alone a refund.
I placed an order on Apr 29 that I cancelled Apr 30. They were obviously informed of the cancellation as the pending charge dropped off my credit card. However on May 30 they randomly started charging me for the order and it says there are three more upcoming payments scheduled. You can't reach their customer service by phone (they keep hanging up on me) and they don't answer emails. Terrible first experience and will never never use them again. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. **Update: PayBright contacted me to say they were waiting for Sephora to confirm the cancellation (but Sephora told me they were already notified and there's nothing else they could do from their end). I was finally reimbursed for the two payments they took on Jun 24.

Pay-bright constantly declines my payments even thought there is sufficient funds in my account, Its been almost 3 months since a payment properly went through and its affected my credit, I am not happy with Paybright and I am looking forward to never using it again. Edit: they have continued to deny my payments and then sent it to collections, customer service is non existent unless they call you. Their email telling me my loan went to collections didn't even have a valid phone number to resolve the problem, I had to contact the company myself hopping from rep to rep. Their system is completely awful.
They are a scam! They take the money from my account without even finalizing the purchase. Result I paid for a product that I will not receive. Their actions will not be unnotice and we will make sure of it!

I used Paybright services to secure financing for the purchase of a mattress from Logan and Cove. Their online service at checkout was simple to use and very convenient. Six payments over six months with zero interest. Their system enabled me to authorize payment out of my chequing account. It all took 30 seconds. Impressive.
The worst experience. It is almost impossible to reach them. They barely answer e-mail inquiries. When they do, it takes several days. Today, the service is paramount, and they do not provide service. When you call them, it takes several attempts, and it takes hours to talk to someone who can't provide a solution. I've tried for a week to make a purchase and have not been able to, thanks to the incompetence of this company. How can they earn money this way? Finally, I ended up ordering with a credit card, and it took only a few minutes to complete the whole transaction.

While I am happy overall with paybright, I have been having an issue with paying something. It keeps coming up with an error and won't let me make payment or pay it off in full, and my scheduled payment said it was NSF when there were funds in my account. The other few purchases I made were fine. I have contacted customer service twice over the past week and they do not reply to the email beyond the automated response saying they received my email and will get back to me. And I can't get through on the phone. So the service is great, as long as you don't have issues. Because the customer service is terrible.
This company is the absolute worst to deal with. My credit card on my profile expired but I wasn't able to update it since I had moved and the postal code on file didn't match the postal code on my new credit card. There is no option to update this online so I sent in a request through their website. 2 weeks later I hadn't heard from them, but they sent me an email saying they were closing my request since I didn't email them??? Another week later I finally heard back from Jacques who said he would update my address and payment. I told him my next payment was due in a week and it needed to be updated by then. I never heard from him and they attempted to take the payment. No follow up. No email. No communication. 6 weeks after my initial request and a payment cycle later and my address and credit card are still not updated..... No customer service and absolutely zero accountability from their staff. I would not recommend using this company for anything if an address change and payment update is this difficult.

So now I’ve been charged double and I’m now in overdraft and the money I was going to use for food tomorrow I no longer have, PLUS I now will be charged and overdraft fee from my bank for this mistake! Don’t ever use them honestly I didn’t need to use their service but I went ahead with it, I ordered off SHEIN received my package they were still taking the payments great returned back $80 worth of clothing received confirmation SHEIN received it and they would refund my original payment which would be paybright fast forward after a rude customer service rep and now dealing with an over sea call centre I still have not received my refund it has been over 4 months! If they’re really hurting for my $80 just say so but don’t play around with my money

I made a purchase online through Samsung's online store and was offered a PayBright payment plan. The first time I tried to sign up, it timed out before completing the sale, so I tried a second time and it went through successfully. When it came time for the first payment date, they charged me twice. I tried contacting them through their website, but all they send is an automatic reply saying that they'll get back to me. It's been over a week, and I haven't heard a thing and the extra charge is still on my card. It's impossible to actually talk to someone to get this resolved. I tried calling, but after sitting on hold, they just said "sorry, we can't help you" and hung up (all automated, of course). Not worth the hassle. I'll never do business with them again.
Very convenient , and easy way to own something you like but but don't have enough funds to balance it out with your other liabilities.Now I can pay it in 4 easy bi- weekly payments and bring home what I want. Thank you Pay bright you are a big help.
I had placed two orders with them. Very bad service and and I think their 48 hours are 1 month period. And they never picked my call. They deducted the money from my account and retailer don't have my order with them yet. And they are not even refunding my money.
Horrible refund process!!! PayBright needs to work on their payment gateways or APIs or whichever payment rail they use to pull payments out of customers credit cards specially when it comes to Apple products. And they definitely need to improve on payment refund turnaround time. When a particular transaction is cancelled from Apple’s/any retailers end then a customer should not have to wait for more than 10 days to get their refund processed. For a FinTech thats positioning itself as a retail lending solution provider, they are definitely not doing things the right way. Anyone can process a transaction, it’s the refunds that help a customer make up their mind if they want to do further business with an institution.
Really bed service. They don’t have value of time as I just requested them solve the issue says security issue but they took more than their service time still it’s not resolve and because of them my whole planning spoil. I think this is one of easiest self service, financial platform i have come across for my recent significant purchase. Very few steps, easy and quick decision and payment method. There is only one improvement feedback i have, there should be an option to Cancel an order and stop payment....or pay the complete balance outright..... Could not find this yet
Got approved. Was awesome. Paying on time. They keep switching the payment dates on you. I've been saving screenshots for proof. They took out a payment today that I already paid 6 days ago and I am getting penalized because of their date changes. Aggravating tbh
As a merchant, getting technical assistance over the weekend is equivalent to beating a dead horse. Their merchant helpline leads directly to voicemail and their customer support line is just a recording. I was on hold for 30 minutes on an "estimated 7 minute wait time" to having the line disconnect because the call wasn't picked up. Thumbs up
Awful experience, took money from my account with no product delivered. Called their client service number and received a very unprofessional response. Had to fall my bank to place a stop payment. Buyer beware
My transactions failed despite trying multiple credit cards, debit cards and even successfully linked banking accounts. Tried with multiple banks/ cards, browsers in different time (at home and in store). Every transactions just got through the approval (with more than double what I need) and failed at the last step after filling in payment details. Got charged multiple times (4 times) with the failed transactions. 2 of the false charges were requested for scheduled refund immediately by Apple Store staff via their partner hotline so PayBright sent us an email confirming the scheduled refund right away (not arrived yet). The other false 2 charges on credit cards was confirmed/admitted by PayBright via email but they ghosted us for after the confirmation without offering solutions lol. We're trying to get the refund back. Their customer care dont seem to be open to phone calls and did not pick up after 30 mins (they said 30 mins wait but it would be a few hours I guess, as another recent review just pointed out). Basically customer service is nearly non-existent over the phone Seriously save your time and go with another provider or pay upfront. UPDATED: They just confirmed the scheduling of the other refund. But it's still such a hassle over 7-8 failed attempts to use PayBright service. I guess it's not for me. Wont be back.

DO NOT USE PAYBRIGHT. i tried to purchase an apple product and after my purchase was denied for "lack of funds" paybright still took the money out then put it back in. so i had the money clearly but still didnt get the purchase. i then had to request to close my account on the 28th of november (because they make it nearly impossible to do close your account) and got an email on the 5th of December saying my account is closed. then on the 9th of december i was charged again 200$! i have been emailing and calling since then and every single time i am told something different. their customer service can not even be defined as a service. i provided screenshots of all the transactions and was told i couldnt be refunded because i got my money back on the 28th already but they failed to look at the literal next picture to see the next charge on the 9th. so i then had to wait another 10 days for a response. they have not been helpful in the least and they have just stopped responding to my emails and everytime i call all they can say is its been escalated and i need to wait. but guaranteed if i never called back i would never get my money. so in other words i need to chase them down to give me back what they wrongfully stole. i am a student and 200$ is a lot to just throw away. so save your money and do not use this scam of a service!!!!
Their lines always buys, and they do not answer inquires or help you to setup your account. it is impossible to do payment through their website for first time due to technical issues for application decisioning for first time you apply, it will tell you we have a risk management issue which means their APIs does not work as expected and cannot evaluate the applicant score to get you an approval. If you try to reach them via email, they do not answer. A fintech company like this should have a better solution especially they are dealing with bugs stores.
Paybright doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We’re currently going through legal processing’s as Paybright owe my partner hundreds of dollars from a retuned purchase. Paybright will not answer calls or emails. Small claims court said this is not the first claim they have had against Paybright. Dyson are no longer using Paybright either due to constant issues and have an investigation right now. AVOID!!!!
Hopeless service, as another comment said would have given -5 stars, after saying that I am being approved for a certain amount, when I entered my credit card details, got a message saying that there is a security risk !!!!!! Filled a form and waited for 3 days, had to write several times to get my profile verified manually and the outcome........ the same message, delayed buying a MacBook to get the financing, alas, I had to use a credit card for the purchase. hopeless, hopeless, hopeless service
This company is impossible to reach by telephone. I have called the entire day waiting 25 minutes each call. At 25 minute mark, they simply say on the automated msg that we don't have anyone to answer and to try via computer. At this point I am paying my balance off to 0 to get away from a sketchy company such as this. Will not used them again due to their inavailabity

Generally Paybright is a good service I use to finance my iPhone. I like that I can get 0% financing. Signing up for Paybright can be a challenge though. I’ve done it several times on different phones and it’s never a quick process. This time I went through the steps to sign up and everything seemed to go through okay. Five minutes later I got an email that my application has been canceled, because of a glitch in the system. So, not only did they take my money the first time, in order to continue the process of setting up my phone, I had to go through the process of signing up again. So I signed up twice, and paid twice. I called in to Paybright and they assured me that a refund would come the next business day. It has been 24 hours and no refund yet. I’m not worried it won’t come, it’s just the inconvenience. All in all, it’s a good service, I just think they have to work on improving their servers, and reduce the glitches.

Overall great experience. Had issue with using my master card, asked me to use a canadian card which i believe i have. So i had to swith my card to finish the transaction. Rest everything was smooth and fast.
Customer service is unreachable, and when you finally speak to someone after several hours/or days attempts and being on hold for hours (if they do not hang up on you, most likely). The representatives are ineffective (told me to send a message explaining my issue using the website help support, which I did many times and never got feedback). Completely pointless! Reported my issues with them to BBB. Paybright did not reach out to assist me with my issues at all, so I gave up and paid in full my purchase. Problem solved! I will never use their services again, and I do not recommend them.
Be very careful with this site. Before your purchase is complete they withdraw the money for the purchase, and if their site does not redirect you to the merchant site, PayBright has your money, and you have no purchase. They also will expect you to wait 10 days or more for the return of "your money." One time it took 30 days and a BBB report. I should have not used them again, but decided to, and have the same issue today.
I am happy there is no interest rate! Very quick and easy to set up for the payments. Really appreciate being able to have this option! No way I could have afforded the lump sum! Thank you so much for providing this option to people like me !
Worst possible experience. Really need an option to give them stars in minus. Worst customer service, no way to communicate with them. I tried calling them for weeks, nobody picks up, tried mailing them, nobody replied and it’s been weeks. I visited their office from barrie several times their office is closed but it shows that their office is open on google maps. Visited so many times specially drove from barrie so many times. Tried calling them daily, they always automatically disconnects the call and never replied to any of my emails. First I thought it is called due to state of emergency, but since it’s in grey zone they are still closed but shows as open. They are sending me notice to update my payment method which i did but still they are emailing me final notices, even after updating my payment method, they are not deducting the installment themselves, but are sending notices about collection department that they will hand over my case to them. I updated my payment method twice but still they are not responding properly. I am trying to contact them but it just seems impossible now. What can i do more than visiting their office now.
The registration process for favourite is very simple but unfortunately if there's an error it's almost impossible to get through to to pay bright to resolve any issues. That's a consequence it makes the whole process useless. When I called I was put on hold twice for 20 minutes when their recorded message that it would be a 9 minute wait. Second-rate the web address that they supplied during the recorded message doesn't exist and unfortunately I've gotten caught in between the retailer and vaperite and I've had no choice but to put a stop payment on the last two payments since three of the five items I ordered were defective and had to be returned. In theory the system's good but if there's any kind of deviation from it becomes on nightmare and I wouldn't recommend it. It gets to be so complicated that you don't know where your refund is coming from and who's paying it back to you. I'd advise you to stay away from it folks!
Customer service sucks. The website never shows my active agreements. They say they tried to take a payment and it declined even though I had more than enough funds. I have been trying to make up said payment but because of the incompetency of the people working for this company I cannot view my agreement to do so. Sent an email; the lady completely disregarded what I even said and answered with completely wrong information and then since has not responded when I tried to get the information I was ACTUALLY asking for.
i got an error message at check out so i tried again and got an error message a second time. they took 200.60 two times out of my bank but because of the error no purchase was completed have been in contact with them for 1 month now and they still have not refunded me my money. was told it could take 10 days for the money to be refunded and someone would contact me within 48 hours and never received a call. very unprofessional
It went ok but I am in Canada and you would not take my one Canadian credit card, you said it was American, so I had to come up with something else to use at the store. Not a great experience. Very unnerving actually.

It was really simple and easy to see if I was pre-approved. I just went to the merchant website and checkout. I like I can see exactly how much extra I will pay for borrowing the money and that I am allow to cancel it early or pay extra if I want to. It has been a good experience so far.

Signup was quick and easy. No glitches. No in depth questions. Approval process for my purchase at Sleep Country took about 6 minutes altogether. The only issue I had was that when I was returned to the Sleep Country website my purchase was not listed in my purchase history. I did receive a receipts and confirmation by email however. A bit confusing.
Michelle was very helpful and very patient with me. I seemed to have lost my computer skills temporarily. We finally got everything ordered and paid for thanks to her.
Needed a paybright loan in July for getting my pet spayed. Got the loan but having nothing but problems trying to get them to take out my payments. It's October and still not fixed. Currently on the phone with my 6th phone call. They're polite on phone. But they keep reassuring me all is good everytime, and it's not. Unless something changes, I will unfortunately not use them in the future.
I purchased an Apple iPad but I couldn't get to the PayBright payment screen. I kept getting a message about "There seems to be a traffic jam, try again" or words to that effect. I finally cancelled my order but managed to place it through my iPhone. Otherwise the process was fine.

I tried to make a purchase and message came up that there was a security risk and cannot complete the transaction. I contacted customer service and was told there was nothing they could do and would have to wait 5 to 7 business days from a request I submitted online, bloody ridiculous this item won’t be available as it’s on sale and was the last one! It doesn’t say anything on their website it will take 7 days to respond back!! And also there is no option to update the credit card on your profile!!! I am having such a hard time getting my account canceled. My loan was approved but the order was canceled by paybright and I am still being charged for it. I have send multiple emails to the helpdesk and made calls. I was assured by the agent on phone that I will not be charge but my credit card statement tells a difference story. Please please please someone respond and help me get this sorted. Update - PayBright finally reversed the charge and closed the loan. 8/3/21

Was pre-approved for financing yesterday... Arrived for laser surgery today, attempted to process payment and it was rejected. You help center says they don't know why but it would take 5 to 7 days to review.... I'm preped for surgery now!!! Ridiculous!!!!! I'd give you -5 stars if I could!! Somehow I was billed for 2 contracts, due to an issue with their site at the time of purchase, that was on Aug 12, and my credit card was billed for taxes twice, and it shows my purchases as double what I got, nearly a month later, it still has not been resolved and have not been credited for the taxes, has been escalated over a week ago and still no resolution. Not happy with the time taking to fix this matter.
I really like this option. The only thing was, it said it would take the 1st payment when it ships, and that didnt happen. It came out immediately (which was fine) and the order is still processing days later. So as long as you know its going to come out immediately you’re good to go!
I find them not to be helpful at all. The website glitched out and then I tried again and got a security error after that. After multiple phone calls and emails I still have not received any help. When you call, they tell you they will email you back....no one emails ever. The Items I wanted to purchase have gone up nearly a thousand dollars and they still don't help. TBH it seems like a scam. Update: after nearly 3 weeks, they sent me a standard email that doesn’t solve the problem and it’s the same thing I was told on the phone. Clear your cache and cookies. That doesn’t help, and they now have access to my bank account and credit card numbers. Trash. Trash. Trash. They responded quicker to this review then to my emails. Watch out. Seems like a super scam.

Wayfair has sent several emails and spoke to PayBright, I have sent documents and been on a three way call and I still have not got my refund. If you want to double pay for your items and get ripped off and have no customer service, then this is the company to use. I have written to Wayfair asking why would they use such a service.

Apple better change financing service. Paybright is awful. I got preapproved and I ordered the iPhone 13. After a month, the item was still not shipped. So I decided to cancel it in order to purchase something else, but their system would not let me do so because of my previous order that was still pending even though it was cancelled. My available credit was taken away and left at 0. I called and sent email. They first said that it takes up to 28 days to re-order. I waited until it was a month to just found out that they can't approve my new order, that their decision is final and cannot be adjusted. What?! ????♂️ I bet their 4.5 stars review is a scam
The ability to apply and use at the time of purchase is awesome as well as the feature to have your payment come off of a card or account of your choice. PayBright worked seamlessly with the vendor making the whole process fluid.

Most difficult company to deal with. Sezzle & Afterpay are FAR SUPERIOR than this sham of a company. I tried on one purchase. They billed me 5 times and no confirmation or shipment of item. Took hours to deal with to get $ refunded. I try again as NO other option than this company and they decline me likely as I was having issues with their service and complained. DO NOT USE!!! And i wish companies would stop using them too. Most reviews are 1 star.

Absolutely trash for customer service. I have called from 2 phones at the same time during their full business hours and both phones got hung up on waiting. I did this for two days. EI and CRA during Covid had long wait times but I got through after 4 hours of trying. I don’t think they have a customer service department. I did do their “online” request and I haven’t heard back and it’s day 3. What a joke. I don’t even need their service just was nice to not have to pay a big chunk up front. Stay away
I've called in twice to correct an issue with them continuing to bill even after the item bring financed was paid off. Both times was told they would send me an email for more details and results of their investigation, yet I never hear back. There has also been technical billing issues throughout of them saying a payment was returned when they have my credit card that is never maxed. Recently they didn't bill something since March than in August they start billing again.it would have been easier to just put it on my credit card with interest. Think twice before using Paybright, there's not much “bright” about them.
This company’s system crashed during an Apple iPhone Pre-Order, and wouldn’t work until about 6:00PM (down since 8AM)… when it finally was up, I filled out my financial institution’s info and it crashed again. Apple then cancelled the pre-order. What a joke of a company; especially one that is dealing with such a major corporation like Apple.

Terrible experience! I agreed to a biweekly payment agreement to find out they are charging me an extra hundred dollars than my total purchase. I have been trying to get a hold of them over phone for days and still haven’t been able to get through. Also sent an email and had no one get back to me. They stole money from my account, not worth it.

I was approved for a 2k loan to have an operation on an animal and for some reason the payment didn't go through, so I cancelled the loan and paid out of pocket instead. Two days later they tried to take a payment from my account (for money I didn't owe them) and I hot an NSF fee because my account was drained to pay for the operation. They agreed to repay the NSF fee on August 4th and still have not paid me back as of September 21st. Just keep getting the tun around. Will never deal with this company again.
I have been approved for $3,500 and yet keep getting a security risk message. Called customer service, waited for 40 mins on hold and was told "oh we are not sure why you are getting that and it takes 4 days to verify your identity". This issue occurred on Sept 20th and today is Oct 8th!! Still can't get through the system!!!!!!!!!!!
Bought a watch from Hudson Bay using Paybright, return to Bay on Oct 14, 2021. Contacted pay on Nov 4th and they said they credit back to Paybright on Nov 1 provided me a transaction number. Contact Paybright on Nov 15 by email until today Nov 29. NO reply bank and still have not see paybright credit back to my bank account. horrible service.
i will never use this company again. my entire experience has been absolutely horrendous. i used the paybright option at check out on wayfair to purchase some things, the order failed to go through as there was a glitch on wayfairs end. that being said i was charged 3 times from paybright, i called to clear up the issue and they said there was nothing they could do right now and that someone from a different department had to reach out to wayfair. it’s been almost 2 weeks since and i still haven’t heard anything back or received my money back. i don’t understand why it’s so hard to reach out to wayfair and just confirm the order wasn’t placed and refund the money. i’ve called back and forth multiple time to both parties and neither has helped in anyway. won’t be using either sites ever again.
I would have given more stars had their customer service email been active. They opened 2 agreements for 1 purchase and charged me for both and then when I emailed them regarding this situation, no emails worked. This was very frustrating. Then if that wasn't enough their records then showed that I hadn't made any payments when I had actually made 2. Their system eventually corrected itself, but this was a very frustrating experience. And the lack of communication options makes it very frustrating as well considering this is someone money they are dealing with. Hopefully the remainder of my agreement goes better then the first impression I have had.
I have been waiting over 2 weeks for processing AFTER my account was debited for partial payment. They STILL cannot figure out what the problem is and have told me "it will take a few business days" 3 or 4 times- still nothing.
The site keeps telling me they only take Canadian credit cards even though I used Canadian credit cards. I was not able to move forward until I switched to pay with my bank account, which I felt iffy about.
Once the system started working it worked fine but that took nearly two weeks. And access on my smart phone was impossible.
There are constantly so many paid fake 5 star reviews for PayBright, this alone makes me so suspicious of this company. I just purchased something from Samsung and used PayBright which I definitely regret now, but after seeing all the reviews of how no one can ever reach a live agent, their calls and emails go unanswered, and it takes months to try and get a refund, I will definitely not cancel or refund my item. I wish I had seen all these google reviews before I made my purchase but live and learn.

I would say that PayBright provides horrible service! I placed my order with Wayfair and I could not successfully complete the payment transaction via PayBright as their system alerted that " there are an technical error and my transaction cannot go through". However, PayBright still charge to my credit card. In the meantime, I placed second order with the same items and encountered the same problem, that payment was not successful because of technical error, but my credit card is still being charged. I have requested them to refund the first installment and have not heard from them. I left a message on their website and have not heard their feedback for three days. Don't know how to get a hold on them to get my money back. ??? It has been almost two week now and they are still investigating my order. They can’t even provide order confirmation for the second placement, but my credit card still being charged. Any one has idea how to get a hold in them to have quick resolution, i much appreciate it. The only thing I can do right now is keep sending email to them with hope????

This is the first and last time I use this service. It's common sense that on pre-order launch day for one of the biggest products (the iPhone 13) in the world, you would have the servers to accommodate the increased traffic, so not sure who's running this business really. I don't recommend this service if you're looking for a reliable business.

Finally, I was able to begin the process and apparently approved for an amount considerably over the proposed purchase amount only to be rejected due to an identity issue. Over 24 hours later I receieved an email advising of ways I can fix my application. Again... completely useless. Could nobody reach out to assist?? In the end I purchased my order on my credit card. I do not have time or patience for PayBright. Had my situation permitted I would have cancelled my order entirely! Shame on Sleep Company for using such a sub-standard financial resource!
System Error upon completion. Still charged my credit card. No response to my email. Customer service said they would email me and I had to reply back screenshots of my credit statements. No email from them. Impossible to get ahold of. Please avoid, just save up your money first lol
My credit card was stolen . So went to update my pay information on the website after trying to find my dumb login. Then I put my new credit card number in there and it kept saying it was invalid when I know it's not! Now they reported me to collections for 98$!! Maybe they should fix their website.. not so happy! And now I guess i cannot use their services anymore because their dumb website wouldn't work.
if i could give 0 i would. They don't answer their calls or emails!!! I do extra payment every month and they don't put it on the balance so right now theyre overcharging me, when you call they hang up on you because they don't want you to wait too long??? Like i just need my money so i can stop dealing with them. Sooo frustrating, worst company
Only giving a 1 star review because they refund time is way too long. A refund should not have to take more the a month and a half. I for sure will not be using paybright in the future. l will just pay my things in full so i wont have to get through this again. Customer service reps are super nice though.
Despite multiple attempts to link my bank account right off the bat, I had to use my debit card to process the initial purchase. And when I went back to the store for another purchase it turns out that your customer service line closes at 7:00 PM (EST). Fix these two major irritants and you will deserve a 5 star rating.
Avoid. They have a 1 star rating from the Better Business Bureau. I called their Canada phone number multiple times, and it's just a loop - literally it just sends you back to the same main menu when you select 1 or 2 for your language preference. After 14 attempts, I was finally routed to a hold queue, which never went anywhere... Just back to the start of the queue again for language selection. It was not a one off experience. I emailed both their general inquiry and help emails listed on their site - and the reply from the company said "this email addresses is no longer in use" - yet this contact information is still listed by paybright on their website. I am so glad I didn't purchase my Apple products on one of their payment plans. Apple actually suggested I then about clarity of trends as I was alarmed that it was not offered before purchase, and because Apple agents state they have not been provided with any terms or information by paybright to provide answers to clients. I was just calling and emailing to ask questions before I decided - but because they have a 1 star rating with the Better Business Bureau of Canada, and because I couldn't even reach a human, or get an answer, I avoided them. You probably should avoid them too. If you can't speak to a human, don't give them your money. If you've had a bad experience, report paybright to BBB of Canada. Seriously they are so poorly rated - I've even contacted Apple to inform them, and alerted them to how paybright are actively and intentionally misleading clients by displaying out of service contact and help emails. None of their FAQ or contact forms are helpful. If you can't respond through email to the company be wary - as a contact form is a way of ensuring you never have a hardcopy of a conversation or a method of reply. Avoid. If you want more information look them up on Better Business Bureau - people are having a lot of bad experiences. If you are questioning the validity of my experience, try for yourself. And no, paybright, a canned apology for my experience by some poorly paid brand manager in your marketing team, is not going to make me or anyone trust you. Start treating your clients fairly.... Go to BBB site and correct your actions by helping your active clients there. Yikes.
Terrible option to take. I bough an item at The bay. I returned the item the next day after received it. PayBright charge me every payment and don’t want to return those payments and they are pretending that they don’t have responsibility because I returned the item to the store even when I sent the copy of the return receipt. I’m still dealing with them. Please be advised and don’t use this service.
Paybright is an amazing company that you can use to get lots of different things. From stores that you would normally would not be able to afford to pay for. They let you pay for items in payments of four and at no additional cost. I love it and use it all the time. I recommend it to everyone.
Used PayBright for an iPhone preorder back in September; what a horrible experience. First, their services were completely overwhelmed (who woulda thunk that there would be a huge demand for a new Apple drop??), and my order didn't go through. After NUMEROUS attempts, the order was finally processed and I was lucky enough to get my phone on time (though, I know a lot of folks were less fortunate). They also charged me twice for the down payment. This was not because I made multiple orders; they confirmed that it was their error, but were quite vague about the reasoning. This would've gone un-noticed if I hadn't checked my statement. Customer service was useless and unresponsive during the whole ordeal. I had to get my bank to do a chargeback for the extra payment as PayBright was not helpful at all. Stay far, far away from these scammers. Unbelievable they were able to get an Apple contract; hopefully it will not be renewed.
I was a little leary of Paybright so researched it because I always say to myself, "what's in it for them?" So far I have bought a product and if all my payments are made on time, it spreads out my cash flow for $0 cost to me.
If i could give 0 stars I would. Tried to make a purchase at apple through paybright. I was approved but there was en error when processing it. Paybright still took $400 out of my account but the order never went through. Now im here 2 months later, only thing i’ve recieved is a super generic email in response to mine and a vague promise to “escalate the issue”. IT WAS 2 MONTHS AGO JUST REFUND IT. Dumpster fire of customer service, steer clear if you can. Would never recommend their services to anybody.
Good experience until it came to processing my CANADIAN credit card. It came back with an error saying that they only accepted Canadian cards I then had to fish out another one that I do not normally use. A little inconvenient.
No idea if I ended up ordering my rug because it’s still in my kart on Wayfair, I only received an email from paybright not Wayfair. I’ve never used paybright before so I’m honestly very confused… other than that the setup was very easy to maneuver.
So, at first I thought it was great... seemed easy and problem-free. They withdraw money 10 days in advance. You have to contact them to set up an account, you can't make your own account. If you pay by Visa debit like I did, be prepared to email customer service back and forth to ensure payment is accepted. After almost 2 months of emailing back and forth, and trying to problem solve (not on my end), I'm glad I have finished my payments. I don't think I'll use this service again. I much prefer after pay.
Poor processing times and implementation of the program. Called customer support and was told that although I was promised certain timeframe, they are busy so I should just wait. First time and last time user. If the expectations were not set so high, I would not be left wanting. Please adjust

This was a fast and easy way to gets the sale prices and spread the cost over 4 payments with 0% interest. I haven’t seen any other company offer a service like this to consumers! Thank you Paybright!
I used paybright in an Apple Store and it took 4 times before working. It kept acting like my credit card (for the taxes and future payments) was the problem. I contacted my financial institution and everything was ok. It did end up working, so I am pleased, but it took a long while
I've started using this almost a year ago since it was on some sites I buy from. 90% of the time, the purchases won't complete. I'm more surprised when it works than when it doesn't. I've called and emailed to have all the issues address, but I'm still having problems. They'vd created 3 new account since I joined and the last still doesn't work. For 3 days, I've been trying to contact them since my last purchase won't complete. I was told the error message I received couldn't be correct. Apparently it's a PayBright server issue. Didn't recieve a reply when I sent the screenshot to prove this. Now my account is blank again. This service has been a complete nightmare. Sezzle is the far better service. I've been using Sezzle longer and have never had one single issue
Literally the worst company. If you came across this message please take this as a sign and do not use these services. There’s a chance you might have a smooth process but there’s a BIG chance you will have the WORST experience ever. From waiting months for refunds that were charged unrightfully and getting the runaround for almost every request.
I ordered for the first time on line. Paybright told me my application did not go through and to try again, so I did. Problem was, the initial one did go through. Afterwards, they charged me that day and they charged me again the next day, same amount. I emailed them about 3 times, each time (as the contract is 4 equal payment, every 2 weeks), a ‘form’ type response was received, some ridiculous statement telling me they’ll be in touch. Over one and a half month later, they have yet to get back to me. I called visa scotia bank, they agree that this second charge was incorrect. Visa advises they will erase the charge within 10 business days. Almost a month later, no return from visa. I call visa, then after waiting on hold over 30 minutes, they tell me the merchant refused my refund! So now, I have been charged by paybright 5 times. Scotiabank telling me…well maybe they will refund it. This was with a Moose Knuckes Canada charge, so, not cheap. I’ll still try and get my money back but to let you know if you have to reach paybright , BE CAREFUL, THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU AND if you do business with Scotiabank Canada, they won’t help either.
I have used the service in the past and will more than likely use it in the future. they are easy to get along with easy to work with, for instance if you need to move a payment they will work with to make it all happen and work out for all involved Michael

Fraudulent company. Don't deal with these guys. I have cancelled an order 4 months ago, and they kept charging. I have been trying to reach customer support for 3 months, but they keep stalling. They even tried to charge my card yet again today, good thing I blocked them.
OMG! I HATE Paybright!!!! I purchased items from Sephora back in August. I used PayBright. The total was around $93 (split into four seperate payments = $23). I made the first payment of $23 on August 28 on my prepaid visa. I decided to pay off the remaining balance of $70 using the prepaid visa but I didn’t realize at the time that I had an fraudulent charge on my prepaid card so the $70 remaining payment never went through so I contacted PayBright to move it to my checking account. They moved it to the checking account but made it so that it was for the payment instalments of $23 everytime. Another $23 payment came out on September 24 but I kept receiving emails saying PayBright was trying to still take out the $70 from my prepaid card. I contacted them again and told them this and it wasn’t done until I had to call a few more times. I now have a balance of $40 something leftover which I’ve desperately been trying to pay off. I emailed PayBright with screenshots of the two separate payments I have made and a screenshot of my Paybright account indicating that I’ve already made those two payments. I explained what happened. I labelled everything. They emailed back saying they have processed the payment and it’ll be taken out as of Oct 22. I go and check my bank account and they tried to take out the $70 so now I have a $45 NSF as I didn’t have $70 in that account. I tried calling their number since their website says they're open on weekends and their system said the wait time was 9 minutes... sat on hold only to find out they are CLOSED on weekends. HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I got charged 3 times for the same amount because of a website issue it took me at least one hour to get the transaction showing on the retail side so I can get my receipt if I knew this I would have paid it all cash
STAY AWAY FROM PAYBRIGHT This company has serious issues. I made a purchase with them months ago and no problem. This time around it's been 22 BUSINESS DAYS and my security risk issue is not resolved. I have done everything Paybright asked to resolve the issue and it's NOT WORKING. Any retailers issuing Paybright be weary because this is a very common issue with this company. You are loosing alot of sales using this company.

This place is amazing, They set you up with a payment plan an its literally easy peasy to do.. and they aren't harsh with it at all not like typical companies... I rate it 5 stars during the holidays it was super helpful
First time user and so far it has been an easy process.. Hopefully you can have an app so I can log in and monitor my upcoming payments as it is someone what tedious to go through the website and put my phone number and wait for a code to be text in order to log in. Will update if I encounter any issues
if I could I would give them NO star, they don't even answer phone calls let alone emails I sent them an email 3 times and kept getting the same automatic email over and over again, my order from apple has been in the processing stage for 4 days now and they charged my account too, and this is just so disappointing the people at apple can not even see my information neither my order they didn't even know if I actually ordered anything and I can't even cancel it.
First experience, I got a message that something went wrong, So I attempted it again and that one went through ... then I got an email that BOTH attempts went through!! Hopefully I dont get charged twice for the same product. Otherwise, it would be a service that I would consider for my small business. 5 stars if everything works out ... fingers crossed
I have been trying to contact Paybright to settle a non payment issue but it seems my email and calls are not being answered. I called so many times only to be answered by an automated recording....even at 9 am when they open. Geezz.....I used to have a good customer service experience with this company.
