I love this college I have been reading a lot of negative comments about this college and some people are saying its a scam but trust me i am a international student and i have done my 2 year diploma from this college and I just love this place i have met some of the great teachers here and teachers are very supportive and caring.

The Residence staff is Horrible, They where attempting to kick us out of our rooms with no reason due to just having been placed in larger rooms at the beginning of the year all DURING EXAM WEEK. No consideration for students and its pretty sad. The school itself is alright but this has put a huge stain on how i view Northern.

Northern College, Timmins is not good for international students. Staff and instructor are well known for Discrimination. International students are often fail with small or by an instructor's created problems, specially in the Practical Nurse clinical practice courses. Clinical instructor who teaches in the first PN clinical practices , is rude and not having professional attitude towards international students. College really need to pay attention to that Clinical instructor name with T. International students need mental support. But instructors and coordinators are more problem creating , not problem solving. International students please try not to consider this college if you really want to study stress free.

Worst College ever They making just money of international student.First they confirm the admission and when student reached there.they force to change the Course and suggest wait until next semester. Do not go to this College.

Do not go here they will try to drain you of any money they can. They're not properly staffed. the town and location is horrible in the winter. If you think you will find a job up here to support yourself during school trust me you will not. I just don't see how you could take this school seriously considering the shape that the town is in and that the college is in a high school building. Save yourself A LOT of headaches and money by choosing somewhere else. I hope this helps someone.

Northern College is a great community asset! They are involved in the community, they provide top level education and they have a fantastic team of professionals who make your education a priority. Check out the Northern College Gym or even the professional squash court! Maybe grab a drink at the Quill's Lounge? Northern is a great place to study, stay and play!

They used be good. Don't ever take Computer Engineering Tech even by mistake. But now they only care about money. The professors don't cooperate, don't reply to emails and students are stuck. They're finishing 2 year programs in 3 years. They are so strict you can't even imagine.
