I unfortunately did not have anyone to tell me not to take out a loan from AAR Financial. I did and it’s the worst financial decision ever. Crazy high interest and I’ve had a loan with them for over a year and a half, never missed a payment until a few weeks ago my banking information was compromised and the bank had to close my account immediately. I have not been able to get my funds back from the bank as yet and AAR has been blowing me up talking about “....we will have to take legal actions to collect in full”. - trust me DONT DO IT people. Also, I borrowed a total of $2,500 and apparently have to pay back $19,500..yeah!!! Please, do not borrow from them if you can help it. If I had known better from before there is no way I would have gotten a loan from them.

Hey so I’m going to tell you all the truth here. I got a 1000$ loan from them for my first apartment. Awhile after that, I was laid off and went on EI, I was told I had insurance on the loan. Gréât. Turns out, that wasn’t true. After I couldn’t pay for a year or so, they came to me and said hey, are you ready to pay? I said sure. They said I owed 10 000$ and I said no, that can’t be correct. They took me to court for garnishment, I thought great now I’ll get the chance to fight this. They served me, fine. It had the date they filed the motion, and no other dates. I waited for the date to show up to court, all that came was a paper saying I never showed up and they ruled against me by default, now I was in trouble for it. So I tried calling the court office and cannot get an answer. I keep leaving them messages and no answer, I’ve now had to take drastic measures to pay my rent. This company is a scam. I was 18 when this happened. Nobody gives a loan to an 18 year old with no credit unless it’s a scam and I know that now. Don’t be naive like me. EDIT: to your reply: you’ve already screwed me over so badly that I’ve had to restart my entire life, how do you propose to fix this now? There are so many bad reviews about your company at this point the entire thing is just a huge scam, I don’t know how you are staying within the parameters of the law while swindling people who have no means to defend themselves.

I was pretty confused about my current loan as there was a lot of paperwork and terms that I wasn't aware of. After looking at the documents a few months later I was even more confused as it's been a few months since I seen them. When I went to reloan, they provided me with all new documents and did everything to ensure I had the lowest payment by canceling older insurance policies and combining loans into one ans applying the reimbursement for insurance towards the principal remaining. After chatting with the manager, I was able to clear up some of the questions and set up a meeting with the manager. I appreciate everything they did for me, and would recommend them. Even though I was pretty upset on the phone, they remained professional and understood my confusion and frustration! That goes a long way ❤️

Poor customer service you get told everything is good and should be approved within an hour and they will call you but they dont and them they dont call the next day. But you call them 2 days later and then they tell you it was there day off and didnt get the answer yet but then has an answer less then an hour after the call. The answer being no loan. When i asked why no one could call to inform me that he had no anwser. Very unprofessional dont give people false hope and qaste there time especially qhen you know if somekne is going to get approved or not. If i could give 0 stars i would. The employee just kept blaming the manager for everything

From the start with this company, I had issues three different employees telling different things. Saying the payments will be coming out my account than the other employees saying it’ll come out of both or the other co-signer account so we had no clue who’s account it was coming out of, even when they took it of one account claiming their was no money and than proceeds to take it out of my account. And than saying theirs nsf fees when they took out the money? And saying I haven’t payed in over a year and saying I lied and not apologizing for their mistake.How does that make sense their getting double the payments and saying I missed a payments. Also why can’t you make an option to go down in person to make payments so you can make sure the money is taken and not this BS they claim. For months I have been asking how much I have left to pay off and not getting a response or telling me which account it’s coming from, as far as I know it was supposed to come out of mine but still taking out of the other account. Scam of a company, I regret ever coming to them. Been a living nightmare from the start. The only way I would recommend this scam of a company is one Lower the fees or no nsf fees and keep only ONE employee on the account loan and not constantly changing employees so you have no idea who your dealing with. Or two make it an option to go down in person to make payments so you can make sure the payment is made. So needless to say avoid at all cost, if you need money go somewhere else easy financial is down the road or money mart, anywhere else is FAR better than this nightmare of a company. I will not do father business with them once this loan is payed off. Scam of a company!

Right from the start I had issues with them, had to know different references (even though we know the same amount of people), had three different employees saying one thing or another. The payment is supposed to be $80 a month but somehow there’s all ways a miss payment or they take it out of one bank account or go take it another so getting double payment. And still dealing with different employees so you don’t know who your dealing with let alone what information their giving away too, saying I lied and didn’t pay in a year, even when I went down before lockdown. And not apologizing to me saying I’m lying and harassing me over the phone at work, now I don’t want to be contacted by phone, only by email from them.They have caused me so much stress and anxiety from the start that I can’t deal with them over the phone anymore. The interest alone is not worth it(80%) if you miss a payment as far as I know it’s coming out my account, so they make up excuses, say your lying to them and don’t apologize at all. Terrible company I have ever dealt with and will never go back to them after this loan is payed off once and for all, if I’m not dead because of the stress and anxiety that have caused me. So needles to say avoid at all cost, they will lie, scam, harass you to no end and share information with other clients ( accidents or not).

When calling the women started off nice but when I started asking her questions about their loan process and what interested rate they give she rudely asked me if I was calling from a BANK. I asked her to repeat her question and she asked where I was from which I told her Wpg, MB. Clearly can't understand her and she continued being rude everytime I asked a financial question. Very shady business. I know more than several people that have gone there and were not told about sign up fees, or liens being put on their house without their knowledge. One lady went in, didn't end up getting one penny from them, but they had her sign application document and had a cancellation fee if $6000! They put a lien on her house, and she had to pay. Very poor customer service. Was having an email conversation with Simran Kaur, and there was a lack of professionalism. Asked "what's your credit?" Instead of asking another way. Told me to call at 430 pm so I did. Simran had no clue who I was, said they're new and transferred me to someone else. Once transferred, the girl kept talking over me and cutting me off. Started saying the banking information I sent in was confusing (I had not sent anything in at that point). The girl kept talking about TD bank and I said multiple times I am not with TD. Cuts me off again spoke over me, finally I said alright and stopped talking so that she could carry on with whatever she kept talking over me about. She asks if my name is Armanpreet and I said no?!!! The girl apologized and said sorry she mixed up someone else's file. I said you know what, this whole experience was very unprofessional and the fact that you had no idea who you were talking to after I was told to call in, I would have thought Simran would have given you our email thread and you'd know what I wanted to discuss. Seems as if those girls had no idea how to answer the phone, be professional or deal with clients. I've taken my business elsewhere.

Don't ever ever deal with these people!!! They are worse than loan sharks. They triple the price of any loan, with their nonsence extra fees. They also don't always follow the dates you ask payments to be taken, even if you sign forms to change it. I have also found out they lied, my account was never reported to the credit bureaus as they promised, they told me it would help build my credit, they lied..
