The guys at the mechanics desk and the mechanics are amazing. Had a tech and service manager call every garage in town to try to get us in for a wiring harness issue before heading home without lights on our trailer. Spent over an hour of their time in and out of the shop trying different things. Called every store and found what we needed at the last store. Without their help, our 10 hour trip home would've been 18 for sure. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us and setting yourselves back for us.

I asked an employee where the Garden Centre is located. I was directed to go to customer service to the front of the store. I do not know why the employee could not communicate to use the exit that was behind him. Employees should be able to assist customers in the correct direction without directing them to go to customer service for direction. On a positive note, the store is well stocked and clean. Helpful employees lacking.

new owner ..2020 nope not for me ! has lots of clearance item but the sad thing is when you walk in the store and find out that the items she has on clearance is also on sale in the flyer for a lot less!!!!!. try's to resell damaged items. money hunger but remember this is Cochrane ! cant wait 4 years to see who we get next. we have had many great owner that sadly left. but if your looking for the best deal check timmins it just might be worth your time!

Has a decent stock of most things. If you can't find it on a shelf but the website says they got it, ask a staff member because some things are kept in the back. The staff are great! Isles are narrow so I'd only suggest a cart if necessary.

Terrible service and curbside organization. The app, website and front door sticker say the store is open until 6pm. I arrived at 4:50 and waited 15 minutes before going to the door at 5:05. I was ignored as staff walked by and eventually got someone’s attention just to abruptly say “we are closed”. Obviously this didn’t make sense and I said you’re open til 6 and even if it’s 5 I was here waiting before 5 for someone to come to my vehicle. After some huffing and puffing my order was pulled. There were 5 other vehicles in the parking lot call the phone which wasn’t being answered and they didn’t have the decency to just let them know they’re closed or at least get a pen and paper and put a make shift sign on the door. I won’t be spending money there again next time I’m in town.

My husband and I were passing through Cochrane ON on June 19, 2021 and called to order 2 chairs at 5:15 p.m. We provided all the requested information, including my telephone number payment info and sku. While verifying the sku the websites indicated there were 15 in stock located in aisle 28. When we arrived at the store at 5:40 p.m. we called to advise we were there. At this time the young woman told us to return tomorrow as they could not find the items ordered. It appeared the employee was not wanting to bother to look for 2 of the 15 chairs located in aisle 28!! It's to be noted there was only 1 other customer. Very dissatisfied!

I've never left a place more insulted. Waited 2 hours in parking lot for an order placed earlier in the day. Had to be in town for groceries. Well never got my order witch was one box. Was told I had to wait. Meanwhile another guy shows up with his cellphone shows the guy what he wanted and hands him his credit card. 10minutes later the associat comes back out with a bag of stuff and a debit receipt and gives the guy back his card. Purchased a set of car ramps at Canadian tire in Kirkland Lake two days ago use them for the first time yesterday and they cracked these ramps are rated for 16,000 pounds and they cracked with only 3000 pounds on them try to call the store and they’re always busy like the phone is off the hook cannot reach anyone it’s like because of Covid they don’t have to work anymore if there was a way to give less than one star as a rating I would terrible customer service

Up until today, I would have given this Canadian tire a higher rating. Today Was a terrible interaction. We purchased a generator from this location, and unfortunately it stopped working a little over 2 weeks ago on a Sunday and this store was closed because of their hours. no big deal. I drove to the New Liskeard location, and they gave me a straight exchange. no questions asked. My next generator lasted just over 2 weeks and would not start. So I take it to the Kirkland lake location. I get told to bring it in after the mechanics take a lunch because someone needs to look at it, no problem. it took the mechanics 2 hours to determine there was low compression in the machine. This was after being told a compression test will take an hour to do (not the case for a single cylinder engine, max it should take is 15 to 20 minutes) Then it took another almost 30 minutes to complete the exchange after finally getting ahold of the own to inform him of the compression issue. There is NO REASON it should have taken this long for the generator to be looked at. I was there the entire time, and I between "looking" at the generator other vehicles were being swapped around the shop. I live completely off grid, I've spent upwards of over $5,000 in the last few months on materials. I can assure you, after how I was treated, I will gladly drive to the New Liskeard location going forward.

I absolutely love and trust Rick and the guys in the garage at Canadian tire in Cochrane ...if there's an issue with my ride he fits it in and does a complete check of my beloved car!! I drive a 2015 BMW X1 28i not anyone can fix it but I only trust these guys they have never fixed anything that doesn't need done (like other garages have done to me in the past) if you need someone that you can trust look no further Rick will take care of you :)

I bought my oil and filter at Canadian Tire and booked a appointment to change the motor oil in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. After the oil was changed I noticed the oil pressure was not where it normally sits on the dash gauge... seemed low? I checked my oil .....and it was dirty? They didn't replace my oil filter I bought and supplied. Ironically the mechanic working on my Chevrolet....also drives a Chevrolet with the same motor. I caught them red handed stealing from me. I mentioned it to the owner....he acted like it was nothing. Bunch of thieves. Still no follow up.....lol. What a joke.
