One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My wife and I applied for a basic mortgage back in April (we already have a small mortgage with them). We both have steady municipal jobs and great credit. after FOUR MONTHS trying to work with them we still had made no progress. Communications would take weeks to be answered, they continuously took a combative tone in our emails/phone calls (like we were doing something wrong by daring to ask to qualify for a mortgage). Weeks would go by between communications after which we'd be asked for some other small piece of info, then the process would start again.
After getting ping ponged around to various managers (who promised to help, then repeated the pattern), and the CEO, they eventually promised to 'start the process' (after months already trying to do that) and offered us a mortgage rate that was more than double what every competitor they have is offering. We wasted ALOT of money and time on this terrible company. We happily paid a large penalty just to move our existing mortgage over to another lender. After contacting another broker we were setup with all the lending we needed in just a few weeks, at a much lower rate, and with much better service.
If you're looking for HIGH interest rates, TERRIBLE customer service, and a lengthy and painful lending process, I'd highly recommend this place.. Otherwise, try literally anywhere else.
