I was contacted on 8/21/20 about my payment being late 11 days late, it was set to auto payment. I was then told that there was an error, and that I would need to set up my account again. I made a payment over the phone that day in the sum of $300.00 and was told that the $10.00 fee would be waived. I then got an email notice about my payment being late. I called on my way home from work and was assured that the email was sent in error and my account was in good standing. Then I get a notice in the mail that my payment was late, I called and again was assured that no my account was in good standing. I called and made my September payment over the phone in the sum of $300.00 because I had to set up my account all over and had forgotten about the verification process. Again I was told that the $10.00 feed would be waived. Account is now verified and future payments are set to auto transfer until the loan is paid in full. Today I check my mail, I get a statement that shows I was charged a late fee back on August 24th. I again called and had your Associates call me back rather than spend all afternoon on the phone. They claim to have waived this fee, however they could not, and would not give me any means in which to document this. I have been extremely paitient through this mistake of yours, I am no longer patient! I am furious and infact looking at my legal options. This is absolutely unacceptable. Your associates acting like I am wrong for asking for some type of documentation other than their word is beyond understanding at this point. It has been over a month since your original mistake was made, and yet I am still dealing with the ramifications and have received plenty of emails about my account being late, mailing that my account was late, mailing that I was charged an undue late fee, but I have yet to receive any formal type of acknowledgement that your company made a mistake or is responsible for any of this. No I do not trust the credit union anymore. The very first thing you should of done was sent out a notice of the mistake and the steps you are taking to rectify the situation. Here we are nearly 2 months later and I honestly do not know what steps you have taken to avoid this error in the future, or how you are making it right with your customers. DISGUSTING!!!!!
