I've been having a few issues due to losing my job to covid and getting changed over to Ei well I was panicking about not having my payments ready for a loan I took out, but just as I was about to stress right out a great woman called from the Howard location and not only put my mind at ease she educated me on a few things I forgot about that could help me so in stead of judging and not being understandable she made the phone call for me to comfortable so I was able to be educated on things I missed that could help me. So I just wanted to say thank-you so much for being understanding and instead of just judging me and just making me another phone call she helped me in more the one way with one phone call. So thanks Christine on 2730 Howard. Now that was truly the best customer service representative I have delt with ever so again wish more of your staff was as helpful as you your great again thank you.

Well I’m writing this after an appalling experience. I’ve been to this location multiple times and never had a bad experience and everyone was friendly. Not this time! Kirsten was genuinely rude, displayed immediate attitude, had an accusatory tone from the moment she started assisting me, gave short nothing answers to all of my questions, and was generally unwelcoming and unprofessional. Kirsten, if that was her real name since she wasn't wearing a name tag, is absolutely unfit to be dealing with customers and is a pathetic face for Money Mart. If I come back here and it’s her again I will be going to a different location. Also, Kirsten wasn’t wear a face mask or face covering despite handling a large number of bills that others have just handled. I sanitized my hands immediately after dealing with her, but its just another example of her unprofessionalism and attitude.

Reason for me providing the date and time is because she rudely spoke to me and then did not share her name when asked. I dnt know for what reason company hires such employees. Very disappointed. My incoming transfer was higher than usual and all they would say is 'we haven't got it'. When pressed they suggested one of the Safeways or Walmarts. No discussion about lead time for pickup, no solid suggestions on which locations might be a best choice. Horrible service, absolute disinterest in solving the problem, no depth of information.

I don't know what has happened to money mart...their Money Mart MasterCard called the titanium MasterCard I've been nothing but a costly decision on my part to go with their credit card they made it sound so good but you can't do anything with it the deposit should go onto the card or I managed by money Mark somehow and it just is such a scam to me I can't believe that I fell for that and treated any Massacre like a bank account so far from a bank account and The Peoples Trust Company in Vancouver that takes care of the bank accounts that these prepaid Mastercard represent has questionable ethical values for the company I would love to have them prove me wrong show me where all my CRB direct deposits went.. I received less than half of what CRA has confirmed depositing into my account hmmmm.

I received absolutely outstanding service today by Lisa and Dominique. I spent a great portion of the day online trying to apply for loans, with no success as most of them require a credit check and when I only want to borrow $100 or $200, a credit check is totally not necessary. There was no one to talk to... no one to help me. So I phoned Money Mart at 766 Princess Street in Kingston and the manager Lisa told me over the phone there was no guarantee but to come on in and she would see what she could do. I went in and within 15 minutes I left with money and feeling confident and comfortable. Everything is very clear, and any questions I had they answered wonderfully. They didn't present with any judgment whatsoever. Just exceptional service all around! Thank you so much for your help today ladies!

Helpless. Tuesday,November 20,18 around 4 pm, I went to this location. My friend sent me money via Western Union from Scotland which is I can cash out right away from western union agents. I said to the lady staff “My friend sent money to me via Western union, can I cash it out,? She replied without looking at the information that I handed out to her. “ you need to come back again on Friday, we have to wait for your transaction, but we cannot guaranteed that you will get money on Friday-“ ???? how did she know the transaction didn’t go through,.she didn’t even look into the information!. Bad Service ever!????I won’t go back again . Anyway , I walked to another agent on Robson st. and got the money right away.

If I could choose minus stars I will because the customer service was horrible. They had a sign saying :" To save time: We are not able to process Western Union payouts/receivers by uncontrollable circumstances, however we able to process send money" I copied it exactly as it was written with grammar mistakes and all. I waited for 25 minutes because I wanted to send money. The one young lady working there was that long with another customer and it was near the time of closing, so I asked her how long more I needed to wait, I was worried that the system will close for Western Union transactions. She in a very rude way told me to read the sign. I told her that I needed to send money and she said that all Western Union transactions were not working. I pointed out that the sign said they were able to process send transactions. Then, instead of apologizing for having the wrong sign and for the time I wasted waiting because of the wrong sign, she told me to go to another store. NEVER AGAIN I WILL GO BACK TO A PLACE THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS THAT WAY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.

Sorry Cindy, I am very late to post the review but late is better than never. Cindy is very helpful and an amazing person to deal with, she helped me with my transaction where I saved more than $100 for money transfer. Basically, I made transaction and it was put on hold and when I called customer care they informed me that I ca use coupon for the transaction, I went to Cindy with to use coupon to save $100, Cindy helped to do the whole process as she understood that I was able to save $100. She was very professional and patience during whole long process. Than you, again !!

Just had a US cheque to cash and since my bank is in Vancouver and no other local banks would be able to cash it, I was told there isn't many options. I was fine with paying the fee they ask, I just needed to have that cheque cashed, but I was told I needed to register an account with them. Fine. But then they were asking for bank statements, employers info, manager, income and SIN number. I refused to give my SIN since it is NOT mandatory to give to anyone but the government and it's actually illegal for anyone to demand it, they can ask, but they can't force you. That was met with patronizing attitude and arrogance with phrases like "Well, you give your social security number to your bank right? Then you have to give it to us". To which I replied "you are not a bank and you can't force me to give you this information". She kept on arguing about it and kept on going over my application in front of other customers, asking questions out loud about my income, what my job is, company etc. I've never been treated with such condescendance anywhere else but you have to wonder what kind of power they think they have when they deal with pay check loans. Definitely the last resort place to go.

I have been going into Money Mart in Trenton on and off for years. I could go anywhere for a payday loan but I choose Money Mart because of the amazing staff on site. Ashley is who I deal with 98% of the time and I cannot say enough great things about her. Not only does she know me by name, she is friendly, knowledgeable and makes a person feel welcome. I actually look forward to going in and paying my loan off in person rather than it come out of my bank just so I can see the staffs friendly faces. It makes my day so much better just having that short interaction with them. Ashley is by far one of the friendliest people I have ever met and definitely exceeds her job expectations. They lost my money and they didn’t refund me back . They took a lot of personal information from my side a day after my transaction .
