The guys at the mechanics desk and the mechanics are amazing. Had a tech and service manager call every garage in town to try to get us in for a wiring harness issue before heading home without lights on our trailer. Spent over an hour of their time in and out of the shop trying different things. Called every store and found what we needed at the last store. Without their help, our 10 hour trip home would've been 18 for sure. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us and setting yourselves back for us.

The staff are always kind and friendly, i prefer to shop here vs wal mart. I can honestly say ive never had a grumpy or cranky staff help me, even when IM having a bad day they always try to make the customer happy. There is one star . missing because, the computer will say you have a item, but it in basement, and NO ONE and they TRY can find it, i wish they could find a better systym it sucks to wait on a item your needing when it say you have it but cant be found

Nice big store & very clean. Reason I rate 2 stars is because no matter what time of the day you go, you're ALWAYS waiting a long time in line to pay for your items. If somebody or yourself is returning an item make sure you have time to waste. It takes forever. Great customer service though.

i find this store lacks talent. most staff have no idea about their isles or even what they sell in their isles. the store manager lacks huge in how to communicate with her employees therefore is why the store has issues keeping staff. it has went threw 3 owners in a 5year span . i worked here this store is not organized at all for its inventory . and automotive is i pure joke as its garage hands are kids and there lead mechanic is a drunk . there front desk staff member thinks hes alll that when hes gotta be the rudest ahole ever ....the manager is decent ....alll in all avoid this store if possible

This is a great place to shop. While not as big as some of its franchised counterparts, they find the room to pack a huge variety of stuff. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner is very attentive to his customers.

new owner ..2020 nope not for me ! has lots of clearance item but the sad thing is when you walk in the store and find out that the items she has on clearance is also on sale in the flyer for a lot less!!!!!. try's to resell damaged items. money hunger but remember this is Cochrane ! cant wait 4 years to see who we get next. we have had many great owner that sadly left. but if your looking for the best deal check timmins it just might be worth your time!

Terrible service and curbside organization. The app, website and front door sticker say the store is open until 6pm. I arrived at 4:50 and waited 15 minutes before going to the door at 5:05. I was ignored as staff walked by and eventually got someone’s attention just to abruptly say “we are closed”. Obviously this didn’t make sense and I said you’re open til 6 and even if it’s 5 I was here waiting before 5 for someone to come to my vehicle. After some huffing and puffing my order was pulled. There were 5 other vehicles in the parking lot call the phone which wasn’t being answered and they didn’t have the decency to just let them know they’re closed or at least get a pen and paper and put a make shift sign on the door. I won’t be spending money there again next time I’m in town.

Found the owners to be slightly dismissive and rude. Most of the staff on the other hand is amazing and will truly do as much as they can to help you. Stocking shelves however, is clearly NOT a priority. (3 stars) EDIT: Since the new owners have arrived, the overall experience has greatly improved. (5 stars)

My husband and I were passing through Cochrane ON on June 19, 2021 and called to order 2 chairs at 5:15 p.m. We provided all the requested information, including my telephone number payment info and sku. While verifying the sku the websites indicated there were 15 in stock located in aisle 28. When we arrived at the store at 5:40 p.m. we called to advise we were there. At this time the young woman told us to return tomorrow as they could not find the items ordered. It appeared the employee was not wanting to bother to look for 2 of the 15 chairs located in aisle 28!! It's to be noted there was only 1 other customer. Very dissatisfied!

Purchased a Curbside Pick Up on Thursday Morning. No email to pick up item. Father in Law went there Friday afternoon and was refused a follow up. Terrible!! it's now Saturday and your closed till Monday. Save yourself some time and order online. Delivery will be faster then them. ALSO called Friday 8 times and NO ONE EVER picked up. I understand its a different time but its been a year now and this location fails on all levels of customer service. First Canadian Tire I can say functions like a disaster. Terrible.

Bought a drill it didn't work. Returned it , was told they would have to keep it over night to "check" to make sure it doesn't work. I got frustrated and bought the same drill out of pocket while I waited for my overnight return, got home the second drill didn't work , returned that was told both would need to be "checked" .3 days , 4 hours of driving for a return. 12v marine battery lost charge and wouldn't charge after 3 weeks the following week brought it in for exchange was told they would have to keep it overnight . Also told numerous times I need a paper receipt when they have online systems for that especially through online purchase. This is a national corporation, it's 2021 , time to get with the times and policies of Canadian Tire , not the Kapuskasing Canadian Tire personal way of doing things. As I see with multiple bad reviews nothing is ever fixed . Returns do not come out of the managers pockets it's a corporation.

The store is clean, and the pricing and product selection is great. My ONLY complaint is that you need to be very careful with some of the cashiers. The students are always very polite and give great service, but one of the older staff members reacted like I killed her dog when I tried helping her locate a SKU on a product. I guess I threatened her pride? Nasty attitude. Steer clear of the boomers.

I ordered some windshield washer fluid jug online, and prepaid for my order. The email said estimated pick up date would be following day at 12. I phoned the next day at 4. The staff was rude then transferred me to another department and had the phone ring for 10 minutes with no answer. Very disappointing customer service.

Extremely horrible customer service. I called in 5 days ago looking for a product, that is available in store according to the online website. I wanted to make sure it was in fact instore before I drove all the way to kapuskasing. The 1st day I called they "went looking for it" and they could not find it. They took my number and said I'll call you back when we find it. I never heard back, so I called back at the end of the day spoke with an other person who said "we can't find it, we will have management look for it"and they will contact me back tomorrow. Surprise suprise they never called back so I had to call in once again spoke to another worker who said "we are still looking and we will call you back today" ...... no call back once again. It's been 5 days and still no call back. So I drove to Cochrane to get what I needed. Seems like they should be working in a circus if they are acting like clowns.

Already having a hectic day I ran to Candian tire to pick up some wood stain n a sponge. My son was crying in his car seat n I was already stressed to the max. Checkout was packed with only two cashiers but we waited patiently as I get up to the counter I reliesed I forgot my wallet at home. Instead of the cashier saying she'd keep the stuff there for me while we ran home she huffed rather loudly then rolled her eyes at me while saying nothing. Taking the things away and that was it. It was so incredibly rude and made me feel even worse then I already had on a stressful day. A little kindness would have gone a LONG way.

I absolutely love and trust Rick and the guys in the garage at Canadian tire in Cochrane ...if there's an issue with my ride he fits it in and does a complete check of my beloved car!! I drive a 2015 BMW X1 28i not anyone can fix it but I only trust these guys they have never fixed anything that doesn't need done (like other garages have done to me in the past) if you need someone that you can trust look no further Rick will take care of you :)
