Fantastic customer service at the Markham and Eglinton branch. Rates are 3.9% monthly and they don't have a term so you can pay it off anytime. Personally found them to be very detailed in explaining /helpful in an emergency and easy to get it - and I paid it off quick so I didn't pay that much interest, just a bit for the time I needed it.... you just have to be smart about it .

First business hour I got to speak with one the financial advisors , I had the chance to meet her in person and it was amazing , extremely professional, from A to Z she walked me through how the financing worked less than an hour from that she sent me an interac in the amount I asked . Everything was done in a fast pace but properly, her manager was also there and assisted us to make things go even faster, together they were exceptional in professionalism and customer service , not once I spoke with an automated system , u call and a live operator speaks with you... I was told I was approved for a line of credit. I had an appointment and I kept in touch with them when I was running late and made sure that I let them to the minute when I’d be there. They neglected to tell me on both phone calls that I made to them before coming in that there was an error with my application and it could not be processed. They called me less than hour before I arrived, one time. They didn’t leave a voicemail. They did not email me. They did not contact my alternate phone number. I drove almost an hour to come. And walked away with an argument with an employee who definitely should not be in customer relations whatsoever. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, even being rude to my teenage kid who asked her to stop being rude to me.

I thought lend direct would be a great company to borrow a loan but I was wrong. For example, I took out a loan for $1000, they did a preauthorized payment, bi-weekly from my account it so happens now that my job is not consistant at which my job was stable and giving me stable income. I asked lend direct to please change the payment plan to once a month, they refuse to change the bi-weekly payments because according to their agreement, I must pay every two weeks, in this case it tells me that they don't care about customer service. It goes to think again is Lend direct a great company that will meet the needs of the customers? No I am afraid not, now its hard to make payments because of their failure of making the payments flexible.

I went to lend direct office in Guelph and dealt with Linda. Worst experience ever. She was rude, bossy and whatever I asked 1st of all she didn't want to give any answer but when I insisted then I got the wrong info . For example I was told the loan protection only couple of $$$ is added in the biweekly payment. But when I called head office after 4 months they told me its $15 biweekly goes towards balance protection. Then I cancelled it. Manager Emily was very good and professional but she is not there anymore. Over all not good experience .Hopefully they hire professional staff and capable future manager.
