This is the worst TD branch I have ever been to. It's not accessible at all, if you use a wheelchair or stroller it's extremely difficult to get through their 2 sets of doors that are so close together only 1 person can get through at a time. And while you're out there struggling no one assist you, they all just stare when you finally get in the door. The bank tellers (the one I seem to always get stuck with) has little to no training and no idea how to do the most basic transactions. I would stick to just using an ATM but they don't have one!!!!

I deposited $500 in my account in the ATM and the machine told me I only actually deposited $300. Went in to get help from the tellers and they told me they could check the machine out back to see how much money is in it, they came back out and basically told me I am lying and I won’t get my money back. Thieves work here

They are never open at times that allow a working class person to deposit cheques or do banking without missing work. My girlfriend has been having her paycheques held each and every time they are deposited into the ATM (even though it happens every two weeks for the past 3 years) so even weekends aren't doable. When confronted about it, not only did they provide zero help or suggestions, but they generally had an attitude of "who cares". This is the single worst banking institution I've ever witnessed, I would not recommend them to anyone for any reason.

*Updating my review as the line issue has been resolved discontinuing the business line* good job guys! Amazing staff. Unfortunately, they appear to be suffering with enough staff. I've always been happy with the banking services, however, on my visit today, I find the indoor atm machine unavailable, as the doors are locked, and the exterior atm isn't working. Meh. Pretty minimal service. I received a card in the mail offering bank loans at special rate. Met with Blair who seemed very friendly and requested I send him some documents. He never got back to me or replied to any of my emails. So, just a waste of my time really. Although everyone here is very friendly, the service and follow up is pretty unimpressive.

This is my home bank now that Seeleys Bay has closed. Twice the bank machine has robbed me. I am always asked if I counted my money first. They can find cheques but cash has to wait to see if there is an overage at the security place. They have offered me money to pay bills while I wait. When I go inside , staff are always nice and helpful. Place is always clean. Good parking, accessable.

2 months ago, we switched from pine center mall branch to this one to due to over a year of issues from that bank in getting an inheritance. Well, 2 months later TD is still the worst bank I've ever been to, not one, not two, THREE different people managed to do absolutely nothing in regards to getting us our inheritance. They spent 2 weeks trying to e-transfer us money when their e-transfer service has been totally screwed forever, then the branch MANAGER ignored 3 of our phone calls, then cancelled two different appointments with us because of 'personal reasons' after assuring us that this would all be dealt with two fridays ago. WE ARE DONE. TD IS THE WORST BANK IN CANADA!!! Switch now to a competent bank like, well, anything that isn't TD, pretty sure a crackhead with a lockbox under his bed would be a safer place to keep your money.

I have been with T.D bank 4 ever. And I will nor ever change. They have no problem helping. They all do the best they can. I will not use them again. Aside from the individual mortgage person Stephanie T. this bank has done nothing right in my mortgage process. They almost cost me the house I wanted because they "lost" the application in their computer the day it was due. All the tech support people just left and I was forced to "buy" another day from the sellers or I would have lost the house. On top of that they lost my physical credit card despite it showing up online in my accounts ,none of them seem to know where it is. I tried to open a US based TD account and their computer didn't believe it was really me, despite passports, driver's license, SIN card. Their whole system is sloppy and even when you complain they can't fix it. Still no credit card, no US account to transfer money to. No manager willing to step up and actual make a decision.

The bank is closed at same time as other banks... What is going on in this town, TD is supposed to be open latest of all banks. Every TD bank in towns has at least one open late TD. 5pm close and one day at 6pm in an industry town is completely unacceptable. Many people work until 6pm, and start at 6am everyday potentially getting a Sunday off which doesn't help as banks are closed Sundays.

Seems like we are constantly being disapointed since we chose this bank for our mortgage. We had our agent leave mid way through the process, the two mortgage "specialists" we did deal with had such heavy accents they did not seem to understand our wishes and just went ahead with whatever their process was ( We only got a 2 year mortgage!! When the rates were at their lowest, thanks a lot) we cannot get a reply about anything lately email after email. We wanted extra $$ for renos and basically the week we were closing conditions and such he tells us oh that's a different process! TD is the bank I chose, they are my next door neighbour on the same block as I am, making access to their service and banking is made easier than having to cross the street to the awful treatment I got from Royal Bank of Canada, the Royalty needs to leave our country alone. The queen will be giving us our country, she will be found guilty for the death of Princess Diana, a person whom I loved dearly, she was the kindest person alive. I sat in front of the tv and watched as the accident happened, Dodi needed her attention he was suffering a heart attack, they possibly made it out alive, I have dreams of her being alive and kicking with a baby in her arms. ALL possibility are there, she was going to marry Dodi a rich millionaire who had a watchful eye on the activities that could harm our Princess Diana, she probably came out alive, FRANCE Minister Macron will hand the details of her death to our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, given the fact that we have passed in legislation the Freedom of Information ACT that passed with flying colours through legislation. I was given information by Sargeant that escorted me to the CMHA he handled with care and compassion, bless his soul and may God keep us safe.

Update: my husband has finally passed away after a year of illness and td has now illegally taken their liberty of sharing his private banking information with others not even mentioned in his will, which they received a copy of.. After this, they proceeded to disperse monies without the knowledge of the executor and we are considering litigation when the details are sorted out. Ee were Here is my original reveiw: How rude that I must check off a star. Definitely should be negative 500 'stars'. I am a senior with ENDURING Power of Attorney administering my husband's affairs for the past six months. That is, I have been able to manage ALL the OTHER 30 credit cards and accounts he has. NOT with these drones from TeDium! I have been forced to PHYSICALLY attend their building 3 hours away and taken them every piece of identification which all the other banks and credit card companies were able to accept when faxed or mailed in. After my last visit (been THREE times already - a seasoned traveler!) some manager called me and said they would finally straighten it out. NOT SO! Today, I am told ONCE AGAIN, that my passport (which they photo-copied while I was there), my driver's license (which they photo-copied both sides of while I was there), the signature they watched me perform on each of those copies, and the ORIGINAL enduring Power of Attorney, stamped by the government office, are not sufficient. They need to see my face again. On one call, 'William' employee # 05258 came back after an interminable 'hold' to actually tell me that I needed to provide them with MEDICAL power of attorney. Is that so the Toronto Dominion Bank may have final say in what medical procedures my husband will endure at their whim? This nightmare dispensed by TD cannot be taken seriously while one maintains sanity. Their treatment of us smacks of elder abuse, as I am at my end of energy to deal with them, and have been treated with such condescending impertinence that I cannot longer afford them the patient endurance a younger person might. We continue to get credit card bills from them every month with interest tacked on, but we aren't allowed to pay them. His line of credit has now mysteriously developed it's own $6.00 charge - also accruing overdue interest monthly.? He has a retirement investment plan with them as well as our mortgage, which weare not allowed to discharge. If I take my husband by ambulance to the city and trot him through their door, they may allow us an audience. At their convenience. We are not sure, as they were too busy to 'humor' us when he was still able to sit up and we brought him to their front glass doors in the car. No one would accommodate him. Over the next months, I was able to take the trip TWICE again, while he was hospitalized, but they were still too busy to see me during those appointments.

Asked what to do when my cheque book was stolen. Got told they would put an alert on my account (manager helped the teller do this). Apparently what they should have done was have me close down my account. Didn't know this till two days later I wake up to an empty account. Been to different TDs all over Ontario and BC. Hands down the worst experience of any of them at this location. Most of the staff are fine so long as you just have basic requests. As soon as the manager has to get involved, expect to get disrespected and end up walking out with an unresolved issue. Highly recommend taking your business down to RBC in Kimberley.

Spoke with 2 people different ladies at this branch who were not interested in helping me. The first lady definitely couldn't help me and it wasn't her fault her hands were tied. She wasnt exactly pleasant to deal with but not rude just curt. The second lady was just down right rude. This lady (didn't get her name) definitely from the get go was not interested in me having a "comfortable banking experience." Poor customer service which is unfortunate in such a small town. WOW where do i even start? I phoned TD to apply for overdraft and they tell me i need to go into a branch, then when i ask in branch the guy tells me oh we dont do that here you have to phone, we dont have "the form". I noticed my easyweb was disabled, there was a phone number on my account i didn't recognize, my address needed to be updated, i needed (and did) to report my chequebooks as stolen, it took 15 minutes just to get my transit number (which was an argument with TD telling me a transit is 4 numbers when its obviously 5!), the guy at the front desk tried telling me i needed ID (had my birth certificate/verified pin/banking details) to get a new bank card when i already went there twice (a month or two prior, and it was the same employee). VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Was NOT taken seriously, can still not access easyweb, the phone numbers were not changed or removed, so it was a giant waste of time. Going back tomorrow and I'm not impressed at all. This is my bank account its not a joke!

Utterly useless. I applied for a mortgage through these guys and initially things looked great - our morgage agent was quick and helpful, so we chose TD over a competitor despite a lower interest rate with the competitor. 2 business days before the closing date my lawyer and I discovered that the funding amounts were all wrong. TD had failed to change the mortgage from the pre-approval amount to the sale price. They failed to correct their mistake on time, and getting the correct numbers out of them took a MONTH, despite a steady stream of messages from myself and my lawyers office. They also told me they could get me a lower interest rate while they fixed their mistake, which they failed to do. They will never get my business again.

I was the liquidator for my mother. I wrote 10 different estate checks to different people in different provinces. You were the only bank unable to process this check. It was written to my granddaughter. It was put into her account and then taken out. When asked she was told the money was out of a dead persons account. Isn’t that what an estate check is?????? I call the bank and waited on the phone one hour to talk to an employee. Couldn’t answers any questions and would transfer me to the estate department. He dropped my call. Back on the phone and left a call back number. Speaking to the next employee who said they didn’t have an estate department. This problem could have been handled so easily by simply call Lennoxville where the estate checks were issued. The bank was aware I was writing estate checks.What is your problem? This is how liquidators distribute money. Maybe you can give your employees more training.

Recently served at this location...what a hot mess this branch is in! After posting great quarterly profits, one would think that TD could have re-opened the Penetanguishene branch by now! The Midland bank doesn't update customers on how to access their branch on their phone service or website. Given the major construction downtown Midland, it took me 40 minutes to figure out how to get into the branch. So very sorry for customers in wheelchairs or those who are less able-bodied! At this time, one cannot cross King street due to construction. Line ups were long, and the branch was only down to 2 tellers earlier today...could it be because only ONE teller was observed to wipe down her station between customers??? I had called previously to complain about this- TDs response was that they provide hand-sanitizer...funny enough, while I was there, not ONE customer used it!!! Called ahead and ordered cash- was told to come and get it, and while I was waiting in line, someone called and said come tomorrow. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! A bit incompetent and inefficient! C'mon TD, your customers deserve better than this!

I have banked at TD for many years…I have tried all the others and none of them can provide the customer experience quality across the board that TD does. I have banked at 7 TD branches in 4 different cities and I am investor in TD directly, so I am a knowledgeable supporter and advocate of the institution. Whatever you do, steer clear of this Perth branch. As one reviewer has mentioned, phones are never answered, but more than that, voice messages are never responded to. This not only extends from the Financial Advisor, but all the way to the Bank Manager…. 6 voice messages, different topics….no response! My Financial Advisor similarly does not do well at answering email or voice mails. My mortgage payment options, presented by her were in error,.....critical Emails disappeared (i.e. I never received a critical email that was supposedly sent and there was no email available in sent items to be reforwarded!!), they had 4 weeks to work out straight forward financing and missed the deadline, I was not informed that the branch was temporarily closed due to COVID and hence was deserted in the middle of the application process. This performance of this branch ranks the lowest I have ever experienced in my life from ANY business. Consequently, I am posting this review so you can avoid the severe grief you will endure using this branch.

Was visiting the area for the first time this past Friday, from my home 800 miles south of the US/Canada border. I had some rolls of Canadian coin and some obsolete Canadian bills that I wanted to exchange for current Canadian currency. The teller was one of the most friendly that I have ever encountered at any bank, anywhere, including in my home town!!! The staff enjoyed my "Southern accent", and we had a delightful conversation and a pleasant transaction, which is more than I can say for the jerks in the "bank across the street". If and when I get the chance to stop by the pleasant town of Gananoque, I will surely stop by and say "Hi, y'all!!!!

Most unprofessional experience at this bank. I was in the area for work and had to do a money transfer. With TWO pieces of valid ID, my bank card and my correct pin, the “bank manager” refused to serve me as she did not recognize me!! I have been a TD customer for 15 years with two corporate accounts and a personal account and she announced that she was freezing my accounts. No idea how this lady became a manager and I am very disappointed as a “National Bank” that they could refuse service because she didn’t recognize someone.
