After we had an issue with a piece of our sectional breaking which thankfully was covered under the warranty we had to pick out a replacement. Thankfully we got an awesome sales person named Brian who was great listened to what we needed and what we were looking for in our replacement and was able to suggest the perfect option for us. Loved that he wasn’t pushy and genuinely wanted us to get something that we would like. I would definitely send anyone looking for new furniture his way. Not to mention they always have good options for financing which is definitely a plus

Great staff, helpful, courteous. I know what I want before I get there, I find the pricing great, great quality and selection. The fact that you can put things onto installments is always great. I also like the fact that it's a smaller family owned business and not a conglomerate, a bit more compatible with my mindset these days. I find the showrooms nicely set up and clean. I have also been able to help turn on, a number of Family and friends to Tepperman's, with no regrets so far. I my friend and family have yet to encounter, a problem or issue with other the products or staff at Tepperman's. Brought me a defective oven it almost caught fire they refused to rectify the situation for 3 days and if I'm not home when the delivery truck is here they will charge me a delivery fee and I will need to wait for the next delivery. They brought me the lemon I need to work during the week they should be more acomadating on the time VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF from customer care to managers all the way to deliver drivers.not impressed!!!!!!!!!

First want to mention I haven't received what I ordered yet but wanted to write a review on the employees. I won't even consider going elsewhere because every time I walk in there I'm greeted with a smile and a "how are you?" The sales staff happily answer my questions and then back off allowing me to look around and make a choice. I ended up buying a few electronics and a washer and dryer because I didn't feel like I was being pushed into a sale.

Salesperson not very friendly. He made us feel as if we were bothering him and wasn't very helpful when we asked questions about a mattress we were interested in. He quickly answered one or two questions, then left and never looked back. So we decided to go somewhere else.

Bought a mattress in September 2020 for 800 bucks its Jan 29th 2021 and there's already ruts in the bed where I lay and I only weigh 165. You can tell they sold me either the wrong mattress like they do to everyone else or sold me a cheap mattress with no name on it so you cant verify your purchase and an outrageous mark up because they know what there doing. You'd think it would take over a year to even see close to that kind of wear. I've never witnessed this in my whole 33 years of living. Unacceptable quality. Just go to sleep country As for this guy \/ your prob not even the owner you just want better pr so you get some high up dweeb to take care of the reviews as well. What boss says thank you to the other one star reviews when their clearly upset. You've lost my lifetime business and the business of all the people that are close to me.

Quality furniture.. sometimes. Regular customer here. I bought a bunk bed that came with cracked supports. Customer service said it will be replaced. Please take it apart and have it ready for them to pick up and drop off the new one... months later no call. No response and no record.. Reinforced the bed and put it back together.. not impressed with the customer service from teppermans.

I have shopped at Teppermans for all my furniture until my last experience with Chatham on December 1, will no longer deal with this place. Due to a sectional not fitting I had to go back and purchase a new modular sectional. I paid cash for the original and wanted to put the difference on my debit however was told because the item was still on the truck they had to wait till the next day to do the paperwork. I was told by the sales person not to worry there was lots of stock at the London store and delivery would be approximately 1 week. Well I get called the next day and of course 1 piece is no longer in stock as in his words "they must of sold a bunch last night". I was told they could ship the other 5 pieces and I would have to pick the 1 piece up when available., even though upset I was like fine. Over the next week I don't hear from them about delivery and call on Dec 6th, I am told the item is in transit from London to Windsor and they still cannot schedule a delivery, but the sales person believed would be later this week sometime. Get a call this morning and they say delivery won't be to the 19th at the earliest as the items are still in London. I try to call the store to talk to a manager and told that it would be about 30 minutes before anyone would talk to me. At this point I have had it with this place, felt lied to from the very beginning. Got my money back and will go buy from the Brick or Leon's (I can handle waiting, but let me know up front so I didn't have to go sell my existing items)! In response, you unable to search my name, I don't know what more then my real name you need i wont be putting personal information in a public forum. Ask your salesperson Matt as he knows who I am. Why would I try and contact your managers again when no manger would talk to me yesterday? Teppersman's could care a less about customer satisfaction.

Customer service and warehouse staff very poor, Poor isn't even the word I would use for them. This location is pathetic from customer service not helpful with complaints brought to them, down to the customer pickup (warehouse) staff who are ignorant, disrespectful, and careless. Drops my item behind my vehicle and says load it yourself "not my job to deal with." I've also had horrible experience in the past from this location. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE, NOR WILL I RETURN TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!

As soon as i walked in the door staff was friendly, clean, organized, had an upbeat and friendly atmosphere, staff was available to answer all my questions. I had not been in for too long and quickly found exactly what i was looking for and more! Matt Demers was a great sales manager, who was very efficient with his product knowledge, extremely friendly, also made my son and I feel welcome! Very deserving of a pay raise ???? My overall experience was in my mind 10 out of 10, and will more then likely be back for furniture upgrades in the near future. Highly recommendable!

i bought power loveseat at your store in chatham for 1,228.00 and as I was going to pick it up ,I saw it was on sale for 1099.00. It said power on the advertisement. the manager said o! it was priced wrong and wouldn't give it to me at the reduced price. They called a week ago and said my loveseat us in. I go to shipping, it's not there, maybe this afternoon I'm tired of the run around Robert Horne 47 Alden street Chatham Ontario N7L1N9 This is the second time I've had issues at this store, and i say never go to TEPPERMANS unless you wanted to get shaffted twice!!!!!

Their extended warranty is a scam. The Walker group, who deals with your claim gives horrible customer service. It been 3 weeks since my washer broke and I am still jumping through hoop to get it fixed. Teppermans prides themselves on being one big family oriented company. But that is further then the truth.

Good Afternoon, i spent around 10k at the store refurnishing my entire house and the treatment was nothing less than great. We dealt with Terry and she was great with us as a sales person. The prices were good at the moment we were there and the financing was very good (Could be better but it was not the time of the year for that - For the money spent they could have given us 6 more months or one more year to pay). The part where they went the extra mile was regarding the storage and delivery of the purchased items because the house was being remodeled and they made 2 deliveries at no extra charge and store furniture for us for around 6 months until the house was completed. So overall was a good experience shopping there. (we bough 3 mattresses, 2 TV's, one dining table and 2 sectionals)

Over the last several weeks I purchased a couch and had the best sales person Tim Aarssen. He was able to get couch in when we needed and was very helpful. So last night by daughter needed a new washer and dryer. First place I said to go was Teppermans because of Tims helpfulness. As we went through front door and screening of covid, a sales person asked what we needed. we said washer and dryer. He directed us the the discount units out back showroom. I guess we appeared to be discount people??? I said what about all those to the left. He said they are higher priced. Again we must have appeared to be discount people. We looked at each other and were dressed ok ?? so we looked out back and nothing there that we wanted. Went out front and sales person very knowledgable and helpful I don't know his name. but there was no stock available for us to take right away and no estimation of time to come in. unfortunately this wasn't his fault but Covids. We went to Leons and bought the same units and free delivery. I guess keeping money flowing throughout Chatham

They have the bargain annex in the back which offers absolutely great deals on everything from livingroom furniture to bedroom sets, tvs washers dryers fridges and stoves. A great selection in the front as well with so many amazing things. Also, did you know the decor is for sale too. Beautiful items to finish off that special look.

I have always included Teppermans when purchasing furniture, tvs and appliances and they have always been more expensive. They do have a Bargain room and sometimes you will find a deal there.

Why is it I'm always feeling like I'm being bait and switched at this Tepperman's when I try to purchase furniture here?? Again today. We went in 2 times today and we were shown a 9 ft couch and quoted $2199 on sale.. Only when we decide to buy are we told we were quoted wrong price for what we have been wasting our afternoon looking at.. If we want what we were shown ..is now $1000 more because staff just threw together a floor model and it not exactly what is for sale.. 2 timea we were quoted a price and the price was listed on furniture. But apparently nobody told sales staff.. I'm glad I didn't purchase it at the Time only to be told afterwards what I get wasn't what I saw when I purchased.. and of course it's pass the blame and not living up to what they show.. Buyer Beware..

Last Thursday we visited the store to look at fridges. A young sales associate was helpful and we asked for her card. We commented that the fridge we most liked cost $400 less at two other stores. She informed us that Tepperman's would price match. On Saturday, we attempted to reach someone to order the fridge and got caught in an endless automated telephone message loop. We decided to try again on Monday. I left a message for the salesperson at her extension, told her we wanted to buy the fridge if they would price match. No return call. On Tuesday, I left a message on the general mailbox for the store, saying the same thing. No return call. For the record, I would rather buy locally than from a big box store. But, I believe that if you are not going to offer ANY service at the point of sale, then that speaks volumes about what will happen after the sale. Please ... no Covid excuses here ... there were several staff standing around doing nothing and only about 3 people shopping, so I don't buy that there was no time (thrice) to answer a phone or return a customer's call. Ship has sailed. We bought a nice new fridge at Best Buy online. Follow-up customer service by phone was within 30 minutes of purchase and was exceptional. I hope senior management does some follow-up ... after 94 years in business, I think they might do a bit better that zero service.

My review would have been 5 stars had it not bee for the nightmare we had with our delivery. We ordered a sofa and loveseat set and then waited about a month for delivery. On delivery day one piece was correct and the other came completely wrong. When we called Teppermans to resolve the matter we got told that unless we could figure out how to come pick up the proper sofa ourselves we would have to wait for the next available delivery (couldn't even be next day). Long story short we had to pay for a UHAUL truck and went and got it because we had already removed our old furniture. We will definitely be wary of shopping with Teppermans and getting delivery in the future. No compensation was offered for us having to rent a uhaul. We have been assured that delivery would be charged but will be watching the bill to be certain.

Just know the advertised discounts and sales will never apply to what you are buying lol Once you walk out the door with your appliances they assume ZERO responsibility for them. I bought a washing machine over a month ago that has never worked and FINALLY got GE to replace it, with no set up or white glove delivery service so don't waste your money on that either. Now can't get anyone to come get the old washer that never worked. Wish me luck

I went to Tepperman’s looking for a fridge. I ended up ordering one from the Outlet. Judy was most helpful. When I was finished there I wandered around looking at home decor. Brandon was very attentive and treated me with the same level of service I would expect if I was furnishing my whole house. He helped me purchase my accessories and then walked me over to Raevyn in Customer Service to finalize the purchase of the fridge. She too was wonderful to deal with. When I was finished Brandon said goodbye, addressing me by name. My overall purchase was small but I was made to feel like a valued customer with every interaction. I can honestly say that I have never had such exceptional service from anyone at Tepperman's before ( and I have been a customer at Tepperman's for over 23 years.) RITA BISKEY has stayed in contact with me since November of 2020 until today Feb 26th 2021 through all the lockdowns and re openings. It all began with me wanting to switch out a chest of drawers for another. I had phoned Tepperman's and somehow after being on hold and transferred and then on hold again I ended up being transferred from the Windsor store to the Chatham store. Rita had answered my call. I had explained everything that I was concerned about and Rita had assured me that she will take care of everything! ( And she MOST CERTAINLY DID!!!) If there was ever a change in the delivery or anything else Rita would be sure to contact me. Rita even picked up the slack from the Windsor store and when I had asked her about the mattress or adjustable base that I had also ordered Rita kept me up to date on the progress. Even a call after hours from home to ensure me that she had'nt forgotten about me. THAT IS DEDICATION!!!!! I cannot express how happy and amazed I was/am about my experience with Rita. If or when I am in need of anything else from Tepperman's I may just call the Chatham store and have Rita help me. Maybe the associates in the Windsor store can learn something from Rita, because I can tell you when you are in the Windsor store they all run from you and never answer the phones!!!!!

What can I say? My oven went down last night (and I use it a lot!) So, like most people I went online and bought a new one. Thankfully the good folks at Teppermans called me this morning and let me know that the model I had purchased was back ordered til October at the earliest. Well I needed one a lot sooner so on my way home I stopped by Teppermans. After looking around the floor for a bit, I saw my salesman Justin. Can't say enough about this guy! He is absolutely the best! I bought a couch set from him a bunch of years back and was super happy with him then! I told him I needed a stove and I needed it fast. I was all over the place with what I needed and je honed me in quick. Found out what was available and showed me options (on the stove I purchased) that I hadn't even thought about. He was more than knowledgeable on his stuff and pointed me in the absolute best direction! Well, needless to say, I walked out with purchasing a better stove that I bought online and for the same price!! If I can offer any advice I say this....maybe browse online, but buy in the store! An awesome experience and an absolutely awesome salesman!!

Purchased a mattress over the phone, I knew exactly what I wanted, easy sale for teppermans. At the time of purchase I paid the tax as a deposit. Once my mattress arrived they called and said delivery was backed up, and scheduled a date for 2 weeks from then. 48 hours before they were suppose to deliver the. Mattress I get a threatening voicemail at 6:30pm explaining if it wasn't paid for my 9:00pm that night my delivery would be cancelled. This is the first time I was asked to pay the balance. I called back the next morning to provide credit card information and the lady explained I'll now have to wait another 2 weeks for it to be delivered. I asked to speak to a manager to resolve the issue and no one was available. I asked to receive a call back from a manager and she said that she would try, but it was unlikely they would call me back. It's been a week now and nobody has reached out to me. I talked to my sales rep. and he said exactly the same thing. Nothing he could do, unlikely that a manager would call me back. Extremely unhappy customer, terrible customer service, very poorly organized setup. Regret very much purchasing this from them. I have a brand new house, which needs to be completely furnished, and I will never buy a piece of furniture from this company again. So short sighted on their part. Avoid this place at all costs. They don't even have to courtesy to return a customers phone call.

They have a door greeter that asks questions about possible Covid19 exposure- that was a good thing. No-one called out customers walking around without a mask- not so good! They had a good selection of appliances that were competitively marked. Also they had availability of appliances in the distribution centre which other merchants in Chatham did not. There was no hard sales pitch or salesperson following us around & I liked that. We were told two different times for our merchandise's arrival time noon by one person and after 3pm by another...not sure why so? There was some bureaucracy that was encountered on 2 occasions: the Salesperson does not process your payment but it has to go to a cashier where you wait in line for your turn. When you pick up your merchandise you must go to the right of the store to show your purchase slip and then proceed to drive to the left at the rear of the store to actually pick up your merchandise. Not sure how that makes sense.Didn't find that very. consumer friendly.

Was here upon walking in I let the gentleman at the door know I couldn't wear a mask and that I would keep my distance, he asked me a few questions and said ok no problem, so I proceed to the bargain annex room in the back to pick a sofa for my inlaw for Christmas I am half way there and get chased down by another guy who starts yelling at me and pushes me to wear a mask I said hey keep your distance and that I spoke with his colleague at the door, so I was told to "GET OUT NOW" I was kind didn't raise voice or anything and left. I would have less issue with this if I had been turned around at the door but the inconsistency depending on which employee you deal with is very unprofessional, me and my family have spent lots of money here over the years but this will be the last of it that is for sure!!!

Horrible Customer Care Had a terrible experience with Teppermans. I bought a square cocktail coffee table. When it arrived, I could see that the finish was all botched up. The first time I wiped it down, some of the finish came off. All I used was a rag wetted down with water. Contacted customer care, and they sent a technician over who took some pictures. Then, when they called me back, they told me first, I had waited too long for them to do anything for me (about a month), second, they seen 3 cup rings which made my warranty invalid. A month, REALLY!!!, and even though there was 3 cup rings, they did not say anything about all the finish that was missing on the top of the table. Through the years I have spent hundreds of dollars at Teppermans. I have bought washers and dryers, couches and loveseats, fridges, and many more items, but I had never had to deal with the so called "customer care". I had no idea that they treated their customers like that when you get a defective item. I was so disgusted that I told them that they had lost a customer for life. I just went over to Leon's and spent 3 grand. I will no longer be giving Teppermans any of my business.

All the sales people here are annoying, they dont like when your browse too long or make a couple trips into the store to browse without making a decision. Im here to spend money do NOT rush me! ...we bought a mattress there and we were told to do a reselect or just get an updated version of our mattress, so yesterday we went in and Tim started the paper work for us to just get an updated version of our mattress delivered, as he was doing that we tested out a more expensive mattress that reclined and did all sorts of things..he then approached us and said your all set and we said "just one second we kinda like this mattress we may consider it" ($800more) his reply was "well you got me going circles around here, make a decision" ...i looked at my hubby and said forget this, and said you know what nope im not going to buy this more expensive one, just by the way his response was. Bought a refrigerator on sale from the front page of their flier and I had to wait for it to come in from China I was told three different dates that it was coming and they wouldn't even help me out with the cost of the delivery because at the time of delivery I had no means of getting it home and they said I would have to pay for delivery I left a message for the store manager to call me back she had a salesman call me instead she couldn't even do it herself and I was told she said there is no help I would have to pay for even though It was late on their end and also talking to receptionist she was not understanding at all about are situation she was very cold towards us no apology for being late and we also mention it to the salesman about how cold they are at the reception desk and he also said he's heard that from other people too .Thanks for nothing I will not be shopping at teppermans ever by the way I had to rent a U-Haul truck to bring the refrigerator home

I am a senior citizen who purchased a thru the wall air conditioner and paid extra for installation. I would think that means 1. Take it put of the box 2. Put it into sleeve 3. Fill in gaps with foam provided 4. Put on frame also provided 5. Plug in to make sure it works...reasonable? I thought so. Well here's what happened. #1, #2 done and#3 but didn't see if it. worked. Now the two gentlemen were very nice and polite. So then I had to pay yet again to have someone come in and do a proper job. I am giving them a four for costumer service in the appliance and outlet department and also with the lady who tried the help us with payment options but as for Teppermans financial department I am truly disappointed. We stood and waited for an hour while we tried to get simple financing for something that was out of the outlet which was to help someone build credit. In the end it turned out as a disaster and never happened. The phone calls were a joke and the amount they were going to finance us was giving and taken back as fast as it was there. Don't worry Teppermans, when our products arrive we will pay for them in full and never deal with you again for anything especially when financing isn't an option. But can be given to someone who only receives child support.

It's OK. Fair prices, but the delivery charge and ridiculous "Administration Fee" should be abolished. Also, why advertise in the flyer or display on the floor what you don't currently have in stock and ready to ship from the warehouse? A sticker or disclaimer should be placed on the item in question in such a scenario. Of the three items I was interested in purchasing (sofa, loveseat, side-by-side fridge), the salesclerk proceeded to inform me that the two pieces of furniture were currently on backorder, with the earliest estimated arrival date of April 21-24th (six weeks from the date I was in the store), and the other item (fridge) was going to take "approximately" a month to arrive, as it was "out of stock" with the manufacturer(?) Of the three items I WAS interested in acquiring that day, NONE were available for immediate delivery. This, IMO, is not acceptable or ethical business practices. On the other hand, the Bargain Annex can have some really good deals, and Justin has excellent customer service skills. My shopping experience here was neither good or bad, but having to wait six weeks to have any piece of furniture delivered was/is frankly, absurd. And a month to wait for a fridge is also questionable. What if it was an emergency purchase? I mean, food does perish. In any case, I left the store feeling somewhat bemused, and ultimately found what I needed at a competitor, who was also kind enough to waive the delivery fee. Debating whether I'll give this place another chance or not...

When I complained they tell me the warranty only covers repair. Purchased a fridge yesterday. Asked that the door be open from left. "Ohh yes" replied the salesman "I will order it that way". Picked up fridge today brought home and door was wrong open. Called and receptionist she says "ohh there's a charge for this and it all has to be arranged beforehand". "Sorry, I replied, but this was not the information I was given yesterday". No verbal response which implied nothing was going to happen to help satisfy me. I sighed and said "well ok then" and she... "Bye Bye" I am a business owner in Chatham and know how important it is to satisfy my customers at every possible chance. It's really sad to think a company like Tepperman's can be successful at such a low degree of customer service. Good buy tho and Devon was a very pleasant salesman. We recently purchased a mattress from Tepperman’s Chatham store. The experience we encountered merits a review. As we entered the store we were really impressed with the brightness and display of electronics, appliances and furniture in general. We had prearranged a meeting with Rita to look at mattresses. She listened to our need and immediately gave us her insight about the features of the different mattresses. She made our decision easy to make. It was a pleasure to deal with someone so experienced and truly interested in our need. The delivery of the mattress was carried out as scheduled. The full experience rates 5 stars.

In store customer service was great. (That’s how they trick you) Once we purchased our products (living room, 3 bedrooms, TV) and ran into issues, customer service severely went down. TV broke within 3 days of purchase. Instead of being decent and replacing it, we had to call Samsung, who then referred us to a technician. 2 weeks later one of the two parts needed were in and the technician came out. If it can’t be fixed Tepperman’s still won’t replace it, will have to wait to deal with Samsung. Absolutely awful customer service once they got your money. Also some furniture came broken. And others won’t go together as instructions say. Just awful. Regret giving them so much service. Did refer them to family but then recanted it. WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE OR GIVE MORE SALES TO THEM.

They have the BEST prices consistently, along with top notch customer service. Rhonda takes care of her customers even long after the purchase. For me it is very important that the adviser actually listens to me when I'm explaining what I am looking for, gives a great price, along with fast service. Tepperman's consistently delivers this! DON'T SHOP HERE. Tepperman's is a sleazy bait and switch salesman. How they have a good reputation is beyond me. If I could give this sorry excuse for a furniture store zero stars, I would. They're no better than those guys who e-mail you with the good news that your long lost uncle, the Emperor of Nigeria, has named you as the heir to his vast fortune. The "Black Friday Sale" is a complete scam. I had a cart of items that I put together less than a week ago but hadn't purchased yet. When I originally added all the items, there was no "sale". So, how come now that there's this amazing 70% off deal, the EXACT SAME ITEMS now total up to $800 MORE than before the "sale"? A couch that cost $998 last week with no sale costs $1300 today. A recliner that was $589 last week with no sale is $899 today. Such great deals, so wow, much amaze. I called the store to get some clarification on pricing. The salesperson who answered the phone might as well have been a guy they pulled off the street that morning with no knowledge of anything to do with the company that they work for. He didn't know anything about this huge "sale" that was going on. How odd. After some humming and hawing he said I would have to put through the order with him on the phone to get the sale price. Super strange, but ok. I gave him my order over the phone and he said he would call me back to confirm. 10 minutes later, he calls me and says "Congratulations, this is the challenging order I've ever seen". Really? A living room set, a television and a bunk bed is "the most challenging order" EVER? Amazing. I was still willing to let all of this go...until I received the sales order and see he charged me for two separate deliveries and then a bogus "protection plan". I cancelled my order at this point and went to The Brick. They processed my $7k order just fine, somehow. I will NEVER shop at this store again and will advise everyone I know to do the same.

From arrogance to rudeness to having to ask 3 times for a piece to be brought in off the truck as they were packing up to leave. No excuse for this kind of shoddy delivery service. Certainly undermines the sales staff's hard work.

Worst place I’ve ever dealt with!!!!!!! They’re nothing but lies, and don’t care about their customers! I’m bringing my business to the brick. I purchased a washer and dryer there two weeks ago, the sales lady amy said no more than 5 days for delivery. My current units broke two day later so I called the store to see if we could get the new ones ASAP. The manager told me I could pick up in London, but they were scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday(this was Saturday) I purchased them the Thursday. When I called Tuesday afternoon they didn’t know what I was talking about of course! I had 5 different customer service reps say well np we’ Cancel your order no problem(they don’t care about their clients) then Amy left me a voicemail early this week saying they can move it from July 17 to the 10th but was trying to get sooner and would call me back. I had to call her today (6 days later) and she said well we thought you didn’t want it that soon(like really I’ve only called 50 times because I have a family of 7 and no washer or dryer) so they are saying another 3 weeks. Then they say what do you expect a month after purchase is nothing. I guess the whole world is rich and buy things just because lmfao done with these people I’ll give the brick the 10k I was gonna spend there. Called the brick today they can have the washer and dryer out tomorrow morning if I buy them today(explained what happened and they said don’t worry we’ll take care of you) if you don’t mind being lied to, and don’t mind waiting 1-2 months for delivery then teppermans is the place to go, for anyone normal don’t waste your time. The last three times I was in the store looking at things we were then only people in the store that should have been my hint.
