I have been to windsor mazda, toronto mazda and many different places but I got the best ever customer service I can get from chatham mazda.They were very supportive and have very competitive prices.They are also even ready to negotiate and provide you with what you want instead of what they want to sell it to you. Yes, it took 2 weeks for car delivery which is comparatively long time but can wait if you are getting better deal than anywhere else.

We had 2 weeks to purchase a vehicle for our son who was returning to school. A.J. and the rest of the team at Chatham Mazda jumped through hoops to make this happen. The vehicle was so clean that it looked brand new, small scratch on the bumper was painted and they even advised us that they had a received some gently used snow tires that would fit the car. I was referred to the dealership by a family member that did not receive any customer service at another Mazda dealership in Windsor, so they decided to visit Chatham and met with an amazing salesperson in Bill Robinson. They purchased a vehicle from him in a short period of time as the whole process from start to finish was seamless. From the first point of contact, I knew I was in good hands. I myself in the financial services for over 20 years was moved by how well he took care of customers. I ended up also purchasing a vehicle and Bill again went above and beyond... The gentleman accomodated our schedule and delivered the vehicle to us in LaSalle. I cannot thank Bill Robinson and his team at Chatham Mazda enough, because in my many years of purchasing vehicles. I was in an accident last week with my CX5 which I have only had since September 2018. I contacted Scott Aarssen, Sales Manager of this Dealership (and who I worked with to purchase my car) to find out where to take my it for repair. His recommendation turned out to be excellent. He also suggested that the vehicle go through a mechanical inspection at his service department once the body work was completed. After picking up my vehicle from the repair shop, I stopped in to thank both Scott and Kyle (Service Manager) for their diligence in making sure it was restored to "new" condition. As always I was welcomed by all in their friendly and courteous manner. Thanks again to the Mazda Team! I love my CX5!
Being fairly new to Chatham we asked a few folks which dealership they would recommend. Mazda on Richmond St. came up a few times even if we were not specifically looking for a Mazda model. We were thrilled with the service, respect and courtesy shown to us right off the bat. Bill our sales hero found the perfect car and went out of his way to make the delivery happen. Jennifer in Business Management is wonderful to deal with. Knowledgeable and not pushy which so often can be the case. We were treated so well. Haven't met the Service Dept. crew yet but looking forward to dealing with them. They had our 2019 vehicle looking and smelling brand new inside, outside and under the hood. Great job. Chatham Mazda did have what could have been the right car for us. More than once in fact and at a decent price. In the end however they failed to provide us with the opportunity to purchase what we were looking for. As a result we did not feel valued or well served. Felt like our purchasing intentions didn’t matter as there would always be another buyer. Over several months we did a lot of research and comparisons so we can speak very highly of the CX-5 model. Met some very friendly sales staff members too, so I don’t wish to paint a completely bleak picture, but customer service has to be something more than buffet style. It has to be personalized and that must include effective communication. Opportunity lost and we are now looking to buy elsewhere. Mazda – great cars maybe… just not for us!

I am from Sarnia and I take my vehicle to Chatham Mazda. I have brought my car to the Sarnia dealership in the past and the service does not compare to Chatham Mazda. I appreciate the pick up service that they offer which I use most of the time. The service advisor Kyle and Master Technician Mark take very good care of me and my car. All questions or concerns that I may have at my appointments or in between my appointments are taken care of in a timely manner. They both are extremely knowledgeable, kind and friendly. If I have a concern, Kyle will look into it for me and get back to me with an answer. With my car being in their hands I have no doubt that it will be well take care of. I appreciate the personalized customer service that I have received over the last couple of years dealing with Chatham Mazda service department.

Purchased a new Mazda 6 from Scott and the group at Chatham Mazda. The experience went smoothly and did not feel like a "game" to get a fair price. Very relaxed atmosphere. When I picked-up the car AJ was EXTREMELY helpful going over all the details before I drove off. Chatham Mazda's price for the exact same car was much less than what I would have had to pay for it if i bought it at the Mazda dealership that is in my City.

Customer Beware!! Don’t take your vehicle to Chatham Mazda. You might be fooled into getting your used vehicle replaced with new parts that is not needed. Then keep making you pay for diagnostic fees over and over again because they didn't resolve the problem that you brought the vehicle in for. By the time they are done with you, you will be out of a lot of money. And to top everything off, you will be dealing with a very rude, unprofessional guy named Kyle (Fixed Operation Manager) at the front counter. Worst experience I ever had, continue to read below and you will understand why. I took my vehicle to Chatham Mazda because of squealing sound from the brakes about a year ago. Kyle at Mazda said it's the rotors and brake pads and charged me Diagnostic fee of $127.00. I said my brakes and rotors were done only 8 months ago at another shop. Kyle said it was probably cheap ones or not compatible. So went ahead and had all 4 new brake pads and rotors changed, premium quality . The Sound came back shortly after. I was told sometime need time for it to wear in. So I left it. So recently I got a recall notice from Mazda. So I decided when I take my vehicle into Mazda, I will have them check out other problems I was having. There was clunking sound when turning, humming sound from outside and still the brakes squealed. Mazda checked it out and the vehicle came back with needing both rear wheel bearings, stabilizer bar, links and bushing replace. I was charged $127.00 diagnostic fee and about $1500.00 to have repairs done. I had the work done. When I picked up my vehicle he said the clunking noise is gone should be a quiet drive now. I took car home and immediately notice the clunking noise is still there. I went on a road test with Kyle to show him. Kyle said he will have it look at when the vehicle comes back for the recall notice. We were waiting for parts. About a week later I brought the vehicle in. Kyle came back and said the outer tire rod need to be replaced $360.00 and $65.00 fee for today for diagnostic. I told him that I shouldn’t have to pay for another diagnostic fee for same issue that wasn't resolved. That was when Kyle threatened me that I won’t get my car back. I said I want to talk to someone else and he said there is nobody here to talk to. I said not even the owner. Then he said he would call me back. He called me back, and told me to come and pick up my vehicle and that he would talk to me when I was there. When I was there, Kyle belittled me in front of his colleagues and halted me with his hand after he was done talking not allowing me to defend myself. He was accusing me of things that never even took placed. Kyle was the rudest, unprofessional customer service person I ever encounter. I took my car to another shop and it was diagnosed as the clunking sound was from struts, and the brakes just need to be serviced (grease), outer tire rod was okay doesn't need to be replaced. It was explained to me that it was up to me if I want to replace the struts because it was not related to any safety issues. The brakes were serviced for under $100.00. Mazda wanted me to put in new brakes and rotors $1200 which were only 8 months old. Two diagnostic fees for squealing . And almost two diagnostic fees for the clunking sound. I spend all that money and never resolved my problem, clunking and squealing still there. So why were they replacing stabilizer bar, and links and more money to replace outer tire rod. The worst experience I ever had. So for customer that don’t know anything about cars don’t go there, you get the run around and don’t trust what they tell you. You will ended up getting parts replaced and don’t need it. And then have to deal with such a rude unprofessional person like Kyle.
My wife and I stopped by the dealership a few days ago coming from London to look at a mazda that was on auto trader. We met George Marshall ,the sales consultant there who greeted us with a smile and handled our questions very professionally. We sat down with him and had the best sales experience I had ever had. I have had some frustrations in the past with Mazda support regarding my CX5 but have recently only experienced TOP NOTCH Customer Service! I have previously owned a variety of makes of vehicles and as long as Mazda provides the customer support that I have recently experienced, the CX5 would be difficult to surpass in comparable class vehicles!

We just picked up our new CX-9 last night. This is our second CX-9 from Chatham Mazda. We live 1.5 km from another Mazda dealer, but we drive 125 km to Chatham for the superior service and treatment. Gerry DiCarlo helped us with our original car and helped order the perfect vehicle for us again. Dave Tessier, the owner, took care of our needs while the vehicle was built and delivered, and Gerry delivered it last night. I cannot stress enough our appreciation of the level of service offered at this dealership, and we are looking forward to having Kyle continue the excellent customer relations when we return for our service appointments. So, 1.5 km, or a 125 km drive? It is worth the extra distance in absolutely every way imaginable for this excellent dealership. Now if you want a gorgeous, luxurious high tech 7-seat SUV for a reasonable price, consider the CX-9. That is the subject of another review. Thanks Dave, Gerry and John. As most of us know, customer service is slowly removing itself from our day to day routines. The exception is what I receive at the Mazda dealership in Chatham. They are always there for me and my family when we have needed them. From staying late to fix a flat to making sure we had a car when we hit a deer. What's better, they even repaired our car and had it back to us the next day as we needed to leave town. We are always met with professionalism and a smile. Their customer service is top notch. I have yet to experience the service department however that time will come and I will update my review. Customer Service is the most important and this place has figured out how that works. There are hiccups everywhere you go, but any I experienced here (and there was one or two) we're promptly taken care of. Second purchase from Chatham Mazda and likely not the last.

For 15 years we had driven the same model of hatchback from a competitor. That model was no longer available. Then we discovered the CX-3 which was the same size as our current car but with better ground clearence and AWD. Scott and Bill were ready to deal and so we leased now instead of next year. I have dealt with Carman for years and have always received top notch service and now that she is with the Chatham Mazda Team I see she has great co-workers that provide a level of service she always has. I just purchased new tires for my Ram truck that are larger then factory and I wasn't 100% sure they would fit but they worked with me to order them in and make sure I was 100% happy with the results. We recently purchased a 2017 Mazda CX-9 at Chatham Mazda. We dealt with A.J. Pough, Dave Tessier and Randy Manicom; each of them went out of his way to be helpful. It was a pleasure to meet and deal them. When we took delivery of our car, A.J. took the time to go over and demonstrate many of the car's special features; it is clear he takes pride in his chosen profession.. He made a point of telling us about the wonderful service offered at the dealership and made sure he introduced us to Jamie Moore who had hand waxed the car so it was sparkling when we took possession. Randy Manicon discussed with us Mazda's warranty and various extended warranty options giving us the benefit of his knowledge and experience but exerting no pressure to choose any particular plan; he was very helpful. Randy also talked in glowing terms about their service department. If you haven't met Dave Tessier and you are interested in buying a great vehicle, it is worth your time to go into Chatham Mazda and introduce yourself; if you deal with Dave you are sure to come away feeling you have been treated very fairly. Based on our experience, Chatham Mazda is not a typical car dealership; it is an exceptional dealership!
Sales was bad got told four times I would hear back from them all I wanted was to buy a new vehicle would not recommend this dealer to anyone had to call maxda head office on dealer as I still didn't hear from them after two weeks
Thanks AJ and Scott for your time and patience. You made a Mazda Fan boy ( an old one at that but who's counting) out of me. A casual demo doesn't do justice to this car. All the ergonomics, technical specs and functionality they put in the Mazda 3 GT can only be absorbed by driving it. And it is fun to drive. Taking it for a demo is only a teaser ownership seals the deal. The care and level of commitment that the Mazda Team in Chatham has is second to none. They are so accommodating that you really feel they have your back. Thanks again AJ and Scott for such a positive connection and looking forward to seeing you guys during my Maintenance Schedules. Great dealership to deal with, comfortable and no pressure environment. Just bought a second brand new Mazda (Mazda3 Sport GT fully loaded) from them, the second buy in 10 months. Again it was a pleasure to work with AJ and Scott on the purchase, they made it hassle free and easy, and took extra care in getting me exactly the model, colours and package that I asked for quickly. The parts/service department is also excellent to deal with.
I recently moved to Chatham and was pleasantly surprised at the differences between this Mazda dealership and the one I used to visit. The regular maintenance was $30 cheaper, the waiting room was much nicer and the staff was great. I couldn't be more pleased and I look forward to my future visits.
At this time I am not comfortable telling my story. but feel like I am being forced to purchase a vehicle although the original deal fell through was told I probably would not get my deposit back, they put new tires on before the deal was finalized and I would lose the $500 deposit because of this.i will be contacting the BBB about this. Seriously the worst experience ever. got this call when at work and clients actually overheard the call. EDIT: The manager got in touch with me and quickly resolved this .I am happy to say I received my deposit back and an apology for what happened. I have revised my rating also

The car is as they say fun to drive and Chatham Mazda was a pro dealership to work with. No wonder the mazda 3 tops the lists of cars!
