My next vehicle will also be purchased from the same sales person. On the service side I am thoroughly disappointed and if I do not buy from Hillside it is only because the service is terrible. I bought a new Buick here in 2020. Soon my wife discovered that when the vehicle speed exceeded 60km/h, the wind noise from the area near the left rearview mirror increased as the speed increased. At least 6 repairs were subsequently carried out. But the situation remains the same. I contacted them in July and asked for a solution ASAP, but the staff of Hillside Motors said she would reply to me after discussing with the manager, but there was no reply, although I had urged this by email during the period. I am extremely dissatisfied with this car and the later service! ! With the release of the Covid-19 restrictions, there is more need for long-distance driving on highways, but this kind of wind noise is really annoying! ! Hope Hillside Motors can solve the problem responsibly and completely!

Will NOT buy vehicles here.... due to the terrible service we received. Had one of our vehicles in for repairs multiple times and every time we brought the vehicle home, there were still mechanical issues. And management gives attitude when they screw up. You'd get the same results just throwing your money in a burning barrel and lighting it on fire. Hillside needs new management in the service department. Used to be a loyal Chev/Buick customer. Hillsides service department has ended that.

Had recalls done a little bit ago there were no lights on the dash when I took it in, when I picked my truck up there was the airbag light flashing, I meant to call the next day but between farming and being a mom things slip away, and the truck has been parked for 6 months trying to sell it…. I finally had time to take it in and they are trying to scam me now out of $1500 saying that it’s not from when they did that recall… I had to get ahold on GM Canada to open a investigation on the dealership, because they are saying that it is something from the recall… will never buy a truck from them after this nor will I recommend them.

Hillside fought the red tape and delays of cross-border key code access and within a could hours cut me a brand new working key. My US dealer? Still twiddling his thumbs! I have had nothing but negative experiences trying to work with this dealership. The service department is ridiculous. They are constantly late/unorganized and will not admit when they have made a mistake. I have been going to them for a year now since I have arrived in the province and they have screwed up things as simple as an oil change or scheduling. They even refused do work in the past. Stay away from this dealership!

We’ve bought our last two cars from Hillside. After today I can say I will never step foot back there again, the service department is unorganized and it took 9 months to get a part in. The mechanics don’t do a thorough job at all. I had to pay to get my vehicle diagnosed twice for the same problem because they didn’t look it over good enough... then my car was late being done twice after the “guy in charge” told me it would be 2 hours to get it done and to come get it at 4pm. (I was there at 12:30pm) I went back and they had to keep it over night because he got to it late...then he said it would be done at 9am the next day, I went back at 10:15am and car still not done, I had to wait until 11:45am. They just keep making up excuses, wont take responsibility for there actions, and cannot stick to a time line. They don’t care or value customers time at all, they expect that everyone can just drop everything and keep coming back in every couple hours... would not recommend.

I arrived on a Monday morning before 8:00am looking for a vehicle alignment after driving from Ontario to PEI on the weekend (the trip threw my car’s alignment grossly out of whack). They were already booked solid yet they still managed to fit it in first thing while I waited. Friendly staff and super helpful in getting my car sorted so that I could enjoy my time in PEI. Whether dealing with Barb at the express oil change, or Brendon and Trent in the sales department, the service has always been excellent. I've only had to see the guys in the parts department (wiper blades) a couple of times but they were fantastic as well. EDIT: After 5 years, the service is still great although someone in the shop may have been a little careless as there was a fresh grease covered dent above my driver's door handle when I picked the car up on my last appointment. My latest service appointment was quick and friendly.

I have an OLD truck lol. 19 years old but I love it. 02 Esc Ext. 6.0 L Like most, these days value for dollar is very important. And having a much older truck finding proper service has been an issue. Being from out of province I found companies here go for the quick buck and won't take on real jobs wanted by paying clients. Not these guys. The did not once bat an eye of age of my truck. They did the work. And because they did the work my truck is running like new again. Seriously like new purrs like a very large kitten. And in a jam again I needed a very hard to find part in a very short time period. Costly part yes lol. But they found it. It arrives very soon and within 30 minutes of having it my truck again will last me another few years Thank you for a great experience. My old truck surly will visit again at some point :)

We recently purchased a new 2021 vehicle from Hillside. The purchase itself went rather smoothly, not hard to sell a truck to folks who already had their mind made up before walking in. Issues popped up on delivery. Vehicle was supposed to be detailed... it certainly wasn’t. No big deal, took it back to them for a few little fixes that needed to be addressed anyways. Although the mechanical issues were addressed, the vehicle was once again returned without being detailed. The swirls in the paint which we were assured would “buff out” still very visible. In the end the sales manager made it right but it made for a frustrating experience. All and all, we would purchase a vehicle from them again but I’d be getting it serviced elsewhere.
