They completely misrepresented the product claiming on the quote they sent me a $500.00 deductible; then doubling it to 1000.00 the day I went to buy the insurance. They also added a clause for insurance that I specifically told them I did not want. The owner's wife made up the quote; shouldn't she know the product before she sells it? They told me State Farm does not sell a policy with 500.00 deductible, yet the State Farm website clearly states that they do. They are either completely unprofessional or they scammed me.

Chris made my first experience with this Desjardins insurance agent fantastic when I signed up for home insurance yesterday. I urgently needed home insurance for a house that I am purchasing today because a large on-line insurance broker suddenly backed out at 4:30pm. I called Desjardins at about 4:45pm. Even though they close at 5:00pm, Chris stayed late to worked until after 6:30pm to set up home insurance for me. Thanks to him, and Desjardins smooth new policy set up, I had the proof of insurance in time!

Got a call on my birthday, about my birthday... I don't even talk to my family on my birthday other than a text from them in the morning wishing me a happy one. I'd appreciate rethinking this idea at the office. It made me uncomfortable, to say the least and put it politely. I gave my birthday because it was requested on forms, not to get notified of the day I was born. I already know what day it is, thanks. Don't need to hear it from an insurance company. Not looking for a response. Thanks anyways.

Many faces have changed over the years but some are still here , we have never had a lot of claims, Thankfully but at anytime , if we did they all work hard to make sure we were more than looked after , professionally and confidently.
