In August 2019 we got a mortgage done by Crescent Mortgage (Alan) is the main person we spoke with. Team is nice to talk to (In person, was told (if you have any questions, problems with contacting anyone Call me, email etc and I'll get an answer) Only at the beginning then later Crescent Mortgage failed on their (we are there for you). Without details (When things got tough, Crescent Mortgage was not there for US (I got all the proof) the advice before this Mortgage was due (Very unprofessional) but no other solutions were given. I asked if they had a lender that could handle, no response except do a full application again (told them nothing has changed) a broker should know their lender base. We were ignored near the end. Again tean is nice to talk with but if everything is great, they seem ok, but when things get tough, they failed in that way. 10/5/20 Reply from Crescent Mortgage is a try to cover up failure instead of being honest, reply is incorrect, Crescent Mortgage did not try to resolve anything, did not advise in anyway that they could not help. I GOT A NEW ONE BUT WITH ZEEO HELP FROM CRESCENT. NOT SURE WHAT CRESCENT MORTGAGE IS SAYING ABOUT WORKING WITHIN THE GUIDELINES??? ANOTHER BROKER HAD NO PROBLEMS. (EXPLAIN THAT COMMENT TO THE PEOPLE CRESCENT MORTGAGE??) ARE YOU SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT ANOTHER BROKER THAT GOT THE JOB DONE THAT YOU COULDN'T. I will show anyone proof of certain communication emails between Cresent Mortgage. WE ALL KNOW SOME REVIEWS, PEOPLE ARE PAID ONE WAY OR ANOTHER TO GIVE CERTAIN REVIEWS.

Then, within 72 hours before closing, he told me that I was denied without just reason and disrespected. (Accomodations made by CIBC by FA Mrs. Capilitan). Alan thanked me one day for fixing something for him. During that conversation I was telling Alan how my bank RBC was giving me the run around with the home up North I wanted to purchase. My husband and I refinanced last year and literally got taken to the cleaner on fees and misinformation. Unfortunately we were not educated in this area and trusted the brokerage I found online. This year as we came due for renewal, I found Cresent Mortgage during a google search and read about Al and his team. I took a chance and it was the best decision we ever made. First of all let say this about crescent mortgages they are the worst company to deal with. We were referred to them by a real estate agent (again another crook) I fully explained to Alan and his assistant they we are retired and have guaranteed income as we are on pension so the mortgage payments will always be maid with no issues, I explained to him that we have been renting for the past 15 years and never missed a payment and had 2 mortgages back in the 90's paid off in full. I explained to Alan's assistant that we have no money down but wanted a lender that takes a common sense approach to lending and can overlook the risk as with us there is no risk involved (guaranteed income) we were told by the assistant and by the cooked real estate agent that no problem we would 100% get a private mortgage by Alan and I have proof that I was told this only to find out that Alan could not and would not have a heart.. The problem with 99% of lenders today is they are cold hearted and only care about what's in it for them. We have currently moved to Brantford and every chance we get to visit Tim Hortons on the corner of dalkeith and Lynden road we tell people never deal with crescent mortgage or the cooked agent Richard Rudlin. It's a dam shame that crescent mortgage is still in business but I found out one positive thing. Pat foren from CTV news consumer alert is currently interned in a sit down story with me and he promised to get Alan to open his wallet and provide a mortgage in the coming months. Allan should still have my email address. Or cell in case he wants to business the right way man to man. And he has to promise me that he will take a comment sense approach to the mortgage
