If I could give zero stars I would. Every time I have been in here there is a woman that is extremely gnarly. We thought maybe she was having a bad day so went back another time and nope, thats just her attitude. Lucky's Pawn Shop pays the highest dollar and they have the best customer service!

Darlene and Sharon were absolutely amazing. For a first time Pawn I was a bit Leary but after the ladies at cash Canada helped me I was happy and satisfied with the experience. I felt I was looked after fairly and was loaned an appropriate amount for my goods. They were as nice as anyone in sales and service as I’ve ever been lucky enough to cross paths with. I’d recommend the red deer location to anyone local and or from elsewhere.

Bought a phone here for my sister. They said all it needed was a 5 dollar sim card tray, so I didnt bother buying the 10 dollar warranty thinking it was a quick fix. Spent all of the next day running around to fix it only to be told something was jammed in the sim card slot and it's a $200 fix. I went back the next day with the phone and receipt and explained the situation hoping they would have decent customer service and return it. I was told by the girl there to sell it on FB marketplace... A BROKEN PHONE!...(Sorry I wont lower myself to your shady ways and rip the next person off). They ended up buying the phone back off of me for a little over half of what I paid. Dishonest, bad customer service and A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I came in With a Samsung note 8 with a little spider craft bottom right corner no pawnshop and pawn to me but it’s still worth $200 to 250 at least with the crack he pond it for me put some money in my pocket had a nice little conversation great experience. Told me that they are open everyday except Christmas and till 8pm well I've gone there before 6 on 4 different occasions and it wasn't Christmas either and they were closed I work everyday and I don't have much time and I've wasted so much of it just trying to get there when its not closed I give up! Advice to you cash Canada maybe your employees should be taught your hours I found out from the web not from a real person which is perplexing to say the least.

Don't buy any electronics they don't test them. Lie about doing it. XBOX console not only didn't work it destroyed the game disc I put in to play. So out the money for the console and the $60+ for the game. 0 stars

I got a next gen for the same as the current, and they took the time to show my how they test each controller buttons response time via computer analysis. Would definately recommend.

Edit: the owners response is a joke, I delt with the on duty manager. Low selling prices due to theft prices given for pawns. NOT RECOMMENDED

I have been to cash canada a few times and thwy are always willing to help with what they can. I enjoy there layaway offers which we dont get anywhere else in the city. They pay for items the first payments for you when you borrow which is nice cause sometimes you dont have enough for items and this way you can make payments and its awesome k owing that they are affordable.

I'm an native who is respectful and humble so I don't get worked up over much from comments too dirty looks, but I walked in and the guy tried to undercut me from a recent quote of $1.25 per gram for wearable silver, to .10$ cents. My chain weighed 137grams which I paid 635$ for it. So a total rip off, they USEDTO BE GREAT TO DEAL WITH , BUT NOW THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE VULNERABLE.

I feel really disrespected having been a loyal customer here for years. I asked what the best price you could do on a bike was that I was already offered 50% off on a different night and the best she could do was full price in December for a bike!!! I've purchased dozens of items from here and never had to pay full price on anything. If you feel like getting ripped off and desire to spend a dollar on every $0.10 worth of product well then you found the right place!!!

12/31/2017 this store is the one and only scamming business that I have ever delt with. I made an unfortunate decision to help somebody without ID pawn a small size brand new dishwasher. to my surprize they gave her $5.00 for it, I never thought much about it at the time and she never came back to get me to get it out of pawn .few months later I took my newer IPod Touch along with my I home speaker into pawn and low and behold they gave me $10.00 yes $5 each, the whole time there I was degraded and put down continuously and was accused that I wouldn't pick it up, I have seen so many people come out of that store complaining they only got $5 for there item also. From a customers view why would they complain if you don't pick it up they are only out $5 they turn around and sell it for triple times more then they paid for it....To be treated like that is not fair, its humiliating and embarrassing making it a big deal that a item for $5 wasn't picked up that I'm not trust worthy and barely was given a second chance to pawn an item. So then WHY BE IN THE PAWN BUSINESS, making your customers feel pathetic, lowlife losers oh right so you can rub it in there face. Your number one Scam Artist!!!!! You get SCAMMER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Thought I would give this shop a try so I phoned there to see if they had an Xbox 360 controller available . Someone answered ( wasn't an automated message) and said ' Thank you for calling cash Canada we are closed , please call back tomorrow after 10 am' . Ok but if you're closed at 6 pm instead of 8 pm like both your website and google say, then you should update both to reflect that otherwise people are being mislead.

Well been buying from this location for many years on the past year and a bit store has gone down hill prices are extremely high the management is unwilling bargain on the prices that are marked , if I take on an item for a loan seems like they low ball the price on the item to the extreme, yet the store is unwilling to lower the prices as marked not the case Canada I remember. I've been a long time regular of Cash Canada, with only one real complaint against them, that said, it was a LARGE one....my engagement ring then I'd taken a loan out, had somehow gotten lost, but I only was told about it AFTER I paid to have it returned! Nothing was ever done about it. Today is strike 2 towards them. I went in to speak to them about a fan I had purchased there 2 days earlier, yet inconveniently it defected as I got it home. I was told in a round about way that I couldn't have a refund or even an exchange it because they cannot take damaged merchandise. But I guess it's okay to sell it??!!!?

My previous review read, "These guys are great to deal with, nice people and rock solid deals. Five stars." I had to edit that and post this review. That was what I used to think, and had made many oddball purchases here over the years, as well as recommending the store and service to others. Sadly, I am changing my review, not giving recommendations or referrals to Cash Canada in the future, and I will no longer be doing business with them. I had a good, construction grade ladder on layaway at Cash Canada -- not on pawn, a layaway purchase -- and during the COVID19 situation I was unable to make payments when they were closed and was self-isolated for some of the time myself. I had less than thirty dollars left outstanding and was going to pick it up. The ladder was back on the sales floor, I was told that I no longer had any payments credited to my account, and the best they could do was give me thirty dollars off the floor price. I offered to make a final payment of fifty dollars, twenty more than the outstanding balance. but they refused. I had to walk away, since it is ridiculous to pay twice for a ladder. I will buy a ladder somewhere else. As I said, this was not resolved to my satisfaction. They have my payments and I have no ladder. I would rather buy a brand new ladder at RONA than pay Cash Canada twice for a used ladder. So that is what I am doing. Thank you for your time.

so i do not usually write bad reviews on company's especially ones i use all the time. cash Canada has really left me an my family in a bad way. i was told i would be given 100$ for something i then said i would think about i. the next day i call to see if its still OK to bring them in yup no problem they say so i send my wife in to sell them who is native by the way just for her to just be told what she has is worthless an they will only give her 10$ so i email the company explaining what is happening he then tells me oh just come in an deal with the guy that helped you first off. so i call the next day again to make sure its OK yup 100$ he tells me come on down so i drive over on what gas i have left just to be told no where not taking them an now i am stuck on the side of the road with non gas my wife an 2 kids i have no idea why someone would treat a customer like like

Just purchased a socket, when i tried to pay by my credit card for $6, they ask for the ID. Why do you need ID for a $6 dollar purchase. I used my debit card instead. They charged $0.50 for a surcharge because they said the Moneris (debit card company) charged. Then i phone the Moneris to confirm, Moneris said they only charge $0.02 for each debit transactions, and the company is suppose to cover the fee. RIPPED OFF!!!!!! I guess you can enjoy to pay the fake google reviews!!

They legally cannot pawn stolen items they have to scan every large item they buy with a background check if something has been reported missing and they scan it they know it has been stolen and have to report it. For people to accuse them of buying stolen items is purely biased and incorrect. Most honest pawn shop I am aware of.

I made payments on an item on layaway and always paid extension fees on items I couldn't take back out right away. One day, end of May, I was told by a new employee I was all caught up and only had to return June 28. Today, June 15, we went in to pick up the layaway item only to discover it was no longer available and put back out on the floor. Due to new employee error, we were misinformed that we were caught up until end of June, which was not the case. No beef against new employee....he is still in the learning stages. The manager, however, is a different story. Quite the d-bag. Manager Colin claims he called us 6 days in a row and left voice messages to inform us we were late on payments. He stood and argued with us about it. Funny thing is, after checking phone records, not a single call was made to the number on file and we aren't set up for voice mail. So why lie to us, Colin? BBB and head office has now been contacted. Don't pawn your items here. It's been a hassle since day one, and the employees are great people, which is why I always came back. However, the manager needs to learn to accept his mistakes and not lie.

Furthermore, I stumbled upon a stereo receiver I was interested in purchasing. Kristen was patient as I researched the product and again was available to answer any questions about the product. As soon as i posted the manager got back to me and fixed all issues.. they went above and beond for us.. just had to wait till they opened. Rediculus.... ive been going there since they opened and i have never been just straight up lied to there... untill today... was told 300 for a ps4 than i get there and they raised it to 350 within the 10 minutes it took to get there... i payed no problem... got a couple games aswell.. was assured no vr set was needed... when i got home i found that not only did the games need vr but the cords didnt work... alot of money to spend on garbage...

Went there during hours of operation. All the lights on, doors are locked no ones there. People were standing outside waiting. To go in they said someone was in there. Call 2 times no answer during hours of operation. So like when do i go there and not be wasting my time??
