Since withdrawing my application they have called me at least a twice a week for a month, even though I answered twice just to tell them to remove me from their system. Progressa has put a 30 past do mark on my credit report because of an error they made and have refused to acknowledge it or get back to me. On October 10th I received an email that my payment didn't go through, it was my fault because I had automatic payments sent to that chequing account but used the wrong dates because I was under the impression I had the same billing dates as the last loan I just had with them, never missed a payment or made a late payment. In the email I received from them it said I could do one of two options #1.) Pay the amount immediately or #2.) Arrange Payment: we can divide the missed payment over the next 4 scheduled debits, increasing the payments by 32.38. that will make those payments a total of $111.88.Please contact us. Immediately I responded and chose options #2. They confirmed that the next 4 scheduled payments starting October 24, will be $111.88 instead of $79.50. They did not apply my arranged payments as discussed in the emails. They have still only been pulling out $79.50 and I found this out because I received and email from my credit report saying "I" missed payments by over 30 days. I called them and the man I spoke to was not helpfull at all and told me I need to pay the whole balance for it to stop effecting my credit, I would have immediately paid the missed payment that day if I knew it would effect my credit like this. He said it was my fault. But wouldn't listen to the fact that Progressa didn't pull the funds from my account as per our email conversation. I asked to speak to someone else he passed me off to an assistant manager by email who has not called or email back. The customer service line just puts me on hold and then tells me everyone busy or in a meeting. I've filed a dispute with the credit bureau, because on November 7th they still have only pulled out $79.50 and have not pulled out the $111.88 and I'm worried they are going to make a false mark on my credit report again. I've sent numerous emails requesting the status of my account and when my 4 payment plan discussed will be debited from my account with out a response. Also on October 22nd I received an email thanking me for being such a great customer and paying off my first loan. "We would be please to offer you a further opportunity to borrow funds at a reduced borrowing rate, which is a special rate only applicable to our loan customers who have paid down their loan on time, such as yourself." How contradicting is that? They report me late for the month of October, pull the wrong amount out on the 24th, and report me thirty days late. Also on the credit report they reported I made a payment on October 24th, but they just didn't pull the right amount out. But some how Im 30 days over due? Does not make sense! When I talked to the guy he said I have to pay it in full, but I'm confused because I have payment arrangements.

Got offered a lower interest rate/ more money on my loan for being over a year with no missed payments. They put my information through, ended up getting denied, hurting my credit and they email me the exact same offer again a week later. As well, I have been trying to get ahold of them for the past week and a half to defer a payment by one day. Call, wait on hold for 5 minutes, get threw and get hung up on. Try 2 to 3 times a day, same situation every time. Finally get through today, got told the billing department is closed, it is too late now to defer the payment and it is my fault because no where does it say I can get ahold of the billing department by email. The woman on the other side of the phone was extremely rude and very unempathetic. Beware.

They do not want to be liable for any mistakes they make. They prey on people with low income and bad credit. I’d say they are as much as a scam as dealing with loan sharks. This company doesn’t know how to run, their customer service people have no clue what their doing. I’ve been in contact with them since the beginning of November due to a phone bill i have been behind on, they want bank statements that’s ok i will send them and i did, but they wanted this specific statement that wasn’t available because my bank gives me my statements monthly, they wanted from October to present day and i told them that is not available to me at the moment seeing that the month is not over yet. the credit company that put me in contact with progressa has asked them if i can send screenshots of my transaction file and PROGRESSA SAID I COULD and so i did, then progressa said i couldn’t do that. MEANWHILE i am at work and they are blowing up my phone when i said email was the best way to contact me, calling me at 8am and also when i was at a funeral.. completely unprofessional and disrespectful and not accommodating. if i could give 0 stars i would!

I don't have great credit and had to have a family member help me with the loan so I could get a vehicle to be able to get to work. I am a single parent with four kids so getting to work is important. Progressa was amazing at helping make difficult arrangements and incredibly understanding with time restrictions I had being able to get to the bank between work hours to fix paper work we had not filed correctly. Also very very fast! I applied for the loan during my lunch break and by 5pm when I was done work the same day, my vehicle had been delivered from over 2hrs away and was waiting for me when I got home. Very impressed with Progressa and their rates and would recommend them to anyone!

Long story short, if you need to borrow money Progressa was helpful and quick to lend. However it seems that with the high interest rates you're constantly paying the interest and never the principle amount borrowed. Progressa was also very hard to reach out to when I wanted to pay extra on my loan but super easy to reach when you want more funds. Overall not a terrible experience, just make sure this is the last option! Progressa did help me out when I was scrapped for cash back in 2016, however with any loan company comes HIGH interest rates, with a promise to lower after 6 months. Unfortunately after 6 months they constantly called me to offer more money with a 1% rate drop. This continued until I paid off my balance owning in one lump sum. (which was practically my principle amount) When i called in to get information on paying off my balance with a lump sum nobody cared to offer advice, rather they tried offering me more money! I called in a week later and had to ask to borrow more money to get someone on the phone, After explaining that I wanted to pay my balance they finally transferred me to a very helpful gentlemen that provided me everything in needed to pay off my balance.

I cancelled my GIC contract with this company and left emails and phone messages. They proceeded to try to collect 107 dollars out of a closed bank account and after repeated attempts to advise them that I no longer wanted to continue with them. They are a scam. They say they want to help you rebuild your credit only they want their cut first . They are just another scam that should be put out of business.

The absolute worst loan company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a bed through Endy and financed it, the financing went through paybright and on to Progressa bc I already had a paybright loan. Everything was fine until I returned the bed, endy confirmed the refund and sent it to Progressa. Over a week has passed, nothing from Progressa. I get ahold of them today and speak with Mary for the second time. She tells me today that they cannot process my refund until they attempt to take out my next payment... WHAT?? Why would I make a payment on something that I no longer have and the refund has been confirmed with endy and Progressa acknowledges they have the refund confirmation. I ask how long it will take after they attempt to take a payment out of my account...which still makes no sense to me... her response was "it will take some time". This whole process is ridiculous!!! If you plan to finance an Endy bed dont plan on having an easy return process as Progressa will take your money quick but is in no hurry to give it back!!! I asked to speak with management as this is ridiculous they are trying to take money for a contract that has clearly been resolved... I was told I could not speak to management, that someone would call me. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!

I never heard of Progressa until today when I checked my credit report and observed they did a hard check of my credit score. I never applied to anything or authorized this. I find it very disturbing that a company that claims to have such reputation would carry out random checks on people’s credit. I will be following this up. This should not be happening.

Had a bad debt with CBV Collection Services and they recommended these guys. I started an application but did not finish it. Not only did I get a message the next day saying it was denied (even though I didn’t finish the application to allow consent) but they nailed my credit score and sent it down 35 points. Absolute scams. Gonna be pursuing both Progressa for the illegal hit but CBV Collection Services as well for sending me to them.

I paid $2400 and only $600 came off loan.... 42% In interest is robbery. .. found out when I closed my account. I would have paid for 3 years.... 7 months in, paid off it with a line of credit....spending $100 more by choice monthly on the line of credit as I did on progressa loan, and had it paid off within 6 months... Yes they saved my credit on a holiday weekend when banks weren't opened... but I continued based on their service but realized months later I made a huge mistake.... check all options first. ... I almost paid close to $10000 instead of slightly over $3800 .... service isn't everything.

Run Fast! Don't waste your valuable time. Right doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Constant different staff calling answering same questions over and over or more information.Ask what payment amount you are comfortable with then goes above slightly. hen declines. This was three weeks of insanity and a complete waste of my time. When A Collection Agency recommends this type of service. It is self serving because they get a cut. Not in anyone's best interest.

They are a bunch of liars. Before getting the loan I was hesitant due to the high interest rate. They guaranteed me that if I keep paying my loan every 6 months without any miss payment, they will lower the interest rate. When I asked how much they would lower the agent told me it depends and there is no fixed amount. After my 6 months when I called they said they will only reduce 0.50% and that's a fixed rate! Another 8 months has passed and I called back to get another lower rate and the agent said someone will call me back and no one did. I waited 4 months because I had forgotten about it. I called back today and the agent says they don't offer that anymore due to covid! And when questioned further, the agent outs me on hold and comes back saying they will resume it next week and someone will call me. I am sure no one will and they owe me 1% lower interest rate! They lie to get you to take the loan! Very disappointed!

Not at all happy with this company. When I searched for Loan Companies they came up and I started the application process. But then I got an email saying that they had some additional questions to ask me, so I called and I was being asked the same questions that I had already answered on the application and when I dialed the number is came up as a "Collection Agency" so that being said I requested to cancel the application without realizing that they had checked my credit and now because of this company my credit score dropped a lot. I will never recommend this company to anyone and now I have to try and get this fixed. So annoying and un-called for.

My loan amount of not that big but still it was really hard for me to pay right away so someone recommended me if I could try and ask progressa if they could lend me a loan and help me out to clear my owed money right away. Single father struggling to pay bills, have a loan payment in collections where I was recommended to try Hinderessa. Denied a loan but would work if I got a co signer. embarrassingly ask my girlfriend, she said she would. Get the ball rolling and they need one piece of proof of address from her. Before even sending it in the next day, they tell me she's not a strong enough co signer. Up yours progressa. If this review is removed it will re uploaded. Also loan officer called me, rang once, concluded I wasn't available for interview STAND STRONG AND AVOID THESE GUYS. I'm now paying my collector monthly due to this and saved myself money on heavy interest. One unhappy customer tells 1000 people. I'll do just that.

You will need a credit score of 640 to qualify for a loan, otherwise you will need a cosigner whom has a credit score of 640, makes at least $1500 per month and would submit to a credit check. If would be better if this information was listed on the website to save people time.

But then Progressa approved me for $6000.00 dollars ( I only need 3 thousand ) but I purchased an ebike for commuting in all weather. Canada, you know ah. If you don’t accept their loan they will sell your personal information like your email and cell number to all local fraud companies. Saying this after personal experience after I rejected their loan offer and I started getting 100s of spam calls every day and multiple spam emails every day .
