Located in a quite place away from the busy town. Saw deers in its parking lot :) Their complementary Mug still reminds about the good time spent. Will definitely book it again. By far the best! Highly recommend this place. You get more than what you pay for.

It was really great value for the price - newly renovated and Even though it¿s a motel, nicer than many of the older, pricier hotels we have stayed at before. We even got to use the amenities as the caribou lodge, including getting a free bus pass.

If you need anything for your room, your closest contact is at a hotel 5 minutes away. This wasn¿t an issue for us personally but it is something to note. It¿s also the furthest away from the ¿downtown¿ area compared to all other hotels if tha

We had an amazing stay at the Dorothy! Despite being labeled a “motel” it most definitely has the feel of a hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The room we were staying in had a balcony overlooking the courtyard and mountains in the distance. The rooms have everything you need and more. We were able to stay in a beautiful place at a very fair rate per night. Guests of the Dorothy can use the amenities of the nearby Caribou Lodge which had laundry, a pool and fitness centre. There is also a gas station right beside the motel with lots of quick snack, food, and coffee options. We loved the story behind the motel and Dorothy’s legacy. I would recommend this spot to anyone, it honestly seemed more refreshed than the Caribou Hotel down the street.

The location, the staff and the room!

Room was very clean and cozy. Heating worked great, bed was comfortable and even has a switch so it lights up on the bottom. Affordable and you even get to keep the coffee cups! The soap,shampoo and conditioner was from rocky mountain soap Co. And it made my hair so soft. Would definitely recommend, and will be staying here again next time I'm in Banff

This motel is a bit away from downtown, however it is modern, comfortable, clean, and spacious. I wasn't sure about the mobile check-in and the mobile access key in the beginning, but once I figured out, it worked really well. It is a great place to rest your head after a long day of fun in Banff.

I would definitely come back to the Dorothy Motel! It's clean, nicely renovated and close to the main road. It totally reimagines what a motel looks like and takes on an elevated and sofisticated look. The front desk people are also so nice and helpful which is always a bonus!

Nice clean rooms, good location, only a short walk to the main strip, all for a good price. Would highly recommend.

Where to start.... This place changed my whole perception of what a motel can be. The rooms are amazing, comfortable, clean and modern. There is a very unique vibe to the place. This beats many hotels in the same price range. If we go back in Banff we are definitely going back there for an even longer stay. Bathrooms were modern and big enough.
