An absolutely wonderful place to stay! Our room was great, you can’t beat a warm wood fire on a cool night, with a view of the mountains just outside your door. The staff were amazing, they really treat guests well, and take every safety precaution seriously. Stop in for a drink in the lodge, even the non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious! Do yourself a favour and book a night here in the fall, you won’t regret it!

Wowwwwww. Totally exceeded expectations. Really comfy, perfect for a romantic getaway or if you just want to enjoy some luxury. Loved the outdoor hottub and back porch.

If you are an international visitor to Banff or a quick visit from Calgary, Buffalo Mountain Lodge is a lovely property situauted where you can walk to downtown Banff and back or go for a hike right from your room. Enjoy the new massive custom hot tub. The staff are friendly and accommodating and everything is very clean. The cafe in the morning is perfect for a coffee, Americano, etc and breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

My wife and I had checked in on August 1st 2021 at room number 301 at your buffalo mountain lodge. The phone at my room doesn’t work. Last night at the upstairs (the room above 301) there were lot of running, jumping and walking noise at night. As the phone at my room doesn’t work I tried calling the reception from my personal phone few times sporadically. Unfortunately no one responded at the reception and we couldn’t sleep at all last night.

the fire place was so nice to have. The beds were comfy. The heated floor could have been very nice. The wood, paper and kindle was not stocked daily as advertised. The heated floor wouldn’t turn off it was set to 20 But was stuck at 30 for over a day and a half making our room incredibly hot. The claw foot tub leaked all over the floor every time there was water in it . Due to covid you had to book Hot tub times. But lots of people didn’t show up so it would be nice if you were able to take the time if it wasn’t shown up for. The communication with the front desk was horrible. Phone calls not answered etc. The gentleman at the front was very helpful and quick but was often so busy that nobody was there to answer phones or let people into the hot tub. A lady at the front desk that had helped us was supposed to book us a hot tub time and when we went to cancel as we weren’t going to make it she hadn’t even wrote it down.

I overall enjoyed my stay here! However, for a first time impression I was not happy with the lack of communication between myself and some of the staff. I know hiring new employees they may give the wrong information but I just don’t think it’s fair as a guest to be told one thing only to be told another. regardless the stay was so nice and relaxing and I love the room and my view as well. Thanks!

We had an amazing weekend here for nephew's wedding. The fireplace is a beautiful and relaxing feature in every room. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and I savored every bite. My husband had the breakfast bagel which he enjoyed also. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Didn't get a chance to test out the hot tub but family members that did said it was great. The decor for nephews wedding was beautiful and the staff did amazing turning over the room from ceremony to dinning room. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and will stay again.

Beautiful location amazing stuff amazing food and drinks. We have a magical Christmas holiday in the hotel and above and beyond they even had a Christmas gift for my son on Christmas day that was delivered from Santa to the door. The front desk staff was amazing I'm sorry I forgot the young lady's name she was very considerate very helpful very kind I hope she knows how amazing she is and we appreciate everything that she did for us. When it came to the dining room staff they were amazing always accommodating remember to we were friendly and made our Christmas dinner fantastic they went above and beyond as well The rooms were nice we had a two queen bed fireplace pet room it was nice and cozy for our family the hotel always provided kenneling for us anytime that we needed and we could always find firewood along the resorts as they had wood piles everywhere for people to use. The hot tub was amazing the hotel decorated the lobby with Christmas decorations and a massive Christmas tree when we arrived to our room we had a little welcome package for our family and for our two dogs Hotel staff made our Christmas vacation magical and we cannot wait to come back for another holiday

The rooms are cozy and private. The hiker package is great! We very much enjoyed the breakfast and lunch from the cafe. The service provided by Dayna was great! She was professional, super helpful, empathetic. We would go back!

I’m not leaving a good review, we’re been coming here since 1999, Came today with our nieces and when I booked my reservation two months ago I was assured that they would put us in a ground floor room, that I needed ground floor rooms as I’m handicapped and cannot climb starts And when I called the front desk to tell them I had been assured and promised ground floor rooms just said that they could do nothing about it, so after many years of being loyal and devoted to Buffalo Mountain Lodge we will never return again and there is nothing on earth you could do at this point to compensate me or try to make us feel welcomed and off to find a new place to stay and less expensive for two room, $1000.00 is just too high as well~
