This is the second day I've come to pick up my debit card... each time I've stood at the end of the time for at least 20 minutes and still didnt move. Second time ive given up and walked out. Seriously get more tellers working.

You know what's retarded? Banks, they make you jump through hoops to get your own damn money. Won't cash checks from their own bank because it's a different branch or because you dont have an account with THEIR bank. It's stupid all the processes you have to go through to get something that is already yours!!! Frustrated, fourth trip to BMO and am I ever glad I don't bank here. Wasted 4 hrs of my life in 4 days( yes 4 separate trips there) so far trying to cash a check for my damage deposit!!! And if that's not enough, one trip there, I had to have a crispy old woman looking at me like I was an insect and tell me, with an hr left in the business day that she wouldn't be able to help me because it's to late! Each trip I've made to BMO, takes an hour or more in the bank waiting. The trip that took the least amount of time was when I was turned away beacause it was too late. To top all of that off, they charged me $30( which is $5 less than what my husband and I pay for our 6 account at our current bank) just to certify the check, meaning I still needed to take the check to another bank and cash it there. The only reason I gave it one star, is there is no option for zero stars!!!

Great bank to deal with. Line ups can get long just like any other bank.have been dealing with the for over 15yrs and there service level is great. I have dealt with them on loans,Mortage’s,line of credit and money exchange for other countries.if you google rates for intrest BMO is always in the top 5. they also have the BMO investor line which allows you to buy your own stocks which also has a very friendly user app and webpage. People say don’t keep all your eggs on one basket,BMO has treated me very good so all my eggs are staying in one basket lol

Horrible service I have receive from the beginning I have cancelled my account and will no longer suggest BMO as a Bank of choice. Just awful I was lied to and plus took 16.95 for my monthly fees when they were already taken out for the month of September, 2021. Cancelled the account and took the 16.95 for the month of service for October??? Like why? I am no longer your client. I was to receive the amount of $300 to have signed up. I was given the run around and lied to. She went to tell me that my account was cancelled June ( the teller goes by M. Bathurst branch that there was a problem and reissued a new card and account number and reactivated. ) Then went on to say I should not receive the amount till January, 2022??? Because of the cancellation that was not done on my end, went to the bank was given the run around by the people there. Dishonest place and liars. They could not even answer my questions none of them. I was dealing with Bathurst branch and my account was there but the transit was different???? Anyway don’t go there. Also I was to get a call from the bank manager on October 1st, 2021, I am still waiting for that call. I reached out to them three or four times with zero results. Horrible service…if I could give -5 stars I would do that.

Branch hours are terrible. Thanks to the local muggings you can't even access the ATM after hours. Don't expect the banks to go out of their way for you.

Such loooong lineups TD had long lines as well but they'd open up extra tills when possible. There was an unauthorized credit card purchase on my account but they would not refund my $ because it was listed as a recurring payment but my account was less than a year old and there were no previous charges from this company recurring or not EVER on my account. TD immediately refunded my $ when it happened to me there. BMO customer service is horrible. Still waiting on the phone forever to close my accounts as I have switched back to TD the ladies there know everyone and treat you nicely. Well guess I have to go to town into the bank and wait in line for half an hr or so. At least I'll be done with them once and for all.

I've dealt with BMO over 40 year's in different cities. I'm impressed with the employee's friendliness, they're knowledge & willingness to assist you. There is one problem. The wait in line. Most of the time there are not enough tellers open.

Horrible customer service, had an issue where a cheque came out of our account which was not supposed to, called to get the money back and to cancel the cheque, on day number 3 of waiting for the money to come back and still nothing. But when I called to cancel the cheque they said it’ll cost $12.50 to put a stop on it, that money was taken out immediately. They’re quick to take money from you, but take their time to give you your hard earned money back. There is no direct line to contact the branch which I find ridiculous. I called the customer care and they said to contact the branch directly.

I had a meeting with Xiao (Angela) regarding an investment plan and she was absolutely amazing. She walked me through all of my options in great detail and with genuine patience. She was extremely knowledgeable and immediately earned my trust. It was clear that she cared about my financial success. I am not one to typically leave reviews, but the service provided by Xiao definitely warranted it.

wow is all i can say about how helpful they have been,. being diabled and having troubles with alot it made it so much easier is the care ir ecived here. they even helped me with thing si didnt know i needed to do but i was like ok ill listen. n wow i learned alot saved alot and im glade they knew to look as i didnt know.

Terrible experience I am 14 and have a checking's and savings account and had no money in account. I tried to make a purchase it did not go through but some how i was charged 1 cent of interest putting me in the negatives. Then i was charged 10 dollers of overcharge very annoying.

This bank closed my account and then is asking me for the money I owe on my card?? But then, they are telling me that I do not have an account anymore so I cannot make any payment...? You guys are screwing up with people's life because you don't know how to do your job? Never seen such dumb people.
