Location location location. All the airport and ski resorts transportation stops here. Right across the street from Roam busses to Lake Louise and Canmore

We checked in late and the front desk staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location truthfully can't be beat for walking along the main strip in Banff. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough that you don't hear the foot traffic on the street below

Great rooms, bathrooms were immaculately clean with lots of towels, amazing toiletries not the massively produced cheap ones but my favourite Rocky Mountain product and the staff are all courteous and friendly. We will definitely go back!!

The room was alright. Ours had a balcony that faced some kind of weird atrium.. No a/c so I wouldn't stay here in the summer.. The staff was really efficient and nice and their toiletries were top-notch (I think they used Rocky Mountain Soap brand) so I guess that makes up for what's lacking..

My husband and I have stayed at numerous hotels along Banff Ave, and I always find that Ptarmigan is our favourite to return to. - Complimentary parking below the hotel (I don’t know why people complain about parking when it’s literally right below). We’ve had to pay for parking at several other hotels. - Very comfy beds with numerous pillows (there were 6 pillows on our bed!!) Having a comfy bed is honestly one of the biggest reasons why we love coming here because everywhere else we’ve stayed has had awful beds. - Close to everything. - Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly tasty. - Hotel is very quiet. Overall, it’s always a wonderful stay at Ptarmigan. We’ll be back!

I booked a smoking pet friendly room. When I got there I was told I had to pay.an extra 25 a night for my pet. I got a no smoking room. They don't have enough parking ????. I had to walk for 10 minutes then I have to get up at 8am to move my vehicle. Needless to say I won't stay here again. I'm trying not to let it ruin my first time in Banff

We really enjoyed our visit in Banff and stayed on this hotel. It is really close to main Banff Downtown you can just walk going there. The place is clean, class and safe to stay during this pandemic. The room is clean, elegant and smells fresh! The only negative experienced we had is the underground parking it is too low if you have a top load. We still managed to park outside of the hotel though.

Ngl, the room smelled sort of like sweat. Also, all the soap and bathing products had this extremely strong raw ginger scent, like it's nice at the beginning but after an hour the scent becomes intolerable. Overall, the layout and design of the room were nice, just wished they had YouTube on the tv.

We had a awesome stay at Ptarmigan Inn Banff. The staff were exceptionally friendly and Helpful. Jessia went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The room was modern and big, with an amazing view and lofted ceiling. it was one of the best rooms I've stayed in! will book again! thanks

No ac in the rooms. The room got quite warm at night making it difficult to sleep. Overall it's clean and a nice size room but the difficulty sleeping will lead me to go elsewhere next time.

Good location, decent rooms but no AC. Was far too hot on the top floor.

Wow , the sceneray is gorgeous, majestic , thrilling and beyond imagination. I am so impressed by the kind of beauty nature can offer in these neck of the woods. Banf is indeed breathtakingly beautiful. I continue working on my projects but hey , what's money if not used for your comfort and enjoyment in this beautiful resort . I have my sweetheart by my side necking and loving the morning fresh air having our breakfast on the world class patio overlooking the towering snow-capped rugged mountain peaks. Loveeeely...........

Clean and comfy, though a little pricier than I expected, given there are newer places close by at the same price point. Don’t try to park in the underground parkade if you have a really big vehicle or substantial roof rack. Breakfast was fantastic, though.

We had a great stay here! They upgraded us upon checking in which was a great surprise ♡ the breakfast was ok at best, not a great selection but it filled the bellies. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, walking distance to Roam Transit Buses and town of Banff, great breakfast and staff! Overall had a great stay!

Excellent location, nice hotel. Was very pleased with everything except the breakfast buffet. Not a big choice, and the person making the omelets is so slow you end up waiting in line for 20 minutes at least. Everything else was great.

Great Place. Visited it just as the lockdown started to lift. The rooms were large and clean and the staff was ultra friendly and professional. The breakfast (we choose hot was lacking - covid should not stop you from offering toast with bacon and eggs). The cold bar was not very good looking (hence why we chose the hot meal option).
