In 2016 i applied to skycap for a loan to rebuild my credit. The thing is that i was informed after i signed up that they don't do loans. I was informed that i would be paying 168.00 each month for 16 months. That would go on my credit that i was paying for a loan that i never got. I could't afford these payments so i asked to cancel the payments. I was told that they wont cancel this at all. Then the person that i was speaking with she referred this issue to if i had a lease on a car and i couldn't cancel the lease . The thing is that would be a loan from the the bank to buy a car. I never got a loan from Skycap financial. Now i got yesterday i got two letter from two collection agency saying i owe almost $10,000,00 for a loan that i never got. Plus these reviews on hear are fake they don't offer loans of any kind. I want this canceled and have the so called loan that i never got canceled and removed from my credit at once. How can a so called financial company offer loans on there website and say they don't do loans that is false advertising and fraud. I will not pay a cent.

Lets see....at first taking money out on different dates everytime ...had to pay all nsf fees ect..i dont feel due to their errors i should have to pay nsf fees to them ..i already have to pay my bank charges!....and just due to the fact i keep tabs on my credit report report found out how much i was paying...which has not been. Properly updated !! And i have all my payments marked!! And i get a tablet thru thier partners canada credit which is not any better...the tablet that has windows 10...but when i try to put one of my sketches on it or save something .... tells me i need to purchase the updated version for windows 10 for 210.99....??? NO! My experience thus far has been ...lets say not peachy

If I could give them zero I would. I fell on hard times because of covid and lost my.job I explained this is what had happened. I missed 2 payment even tho I have been paying consistant before and send 1800$ to a collection while continuing to charge my account my interest and affected my rating twice. So now i have 1800$ collections from skycap threw collect cents and the other 2000 dollars active account on my credit. Meanwhile i only took a 1500$ loan. Edit to response... I was in contact with your team and explained to them what had happened and why i lost my job. Nothing was done to help me and i was also told they couldnt help me and to continue making payments. Company offers credit rebuilding loans but in reality they ruin your credit. I have tried to talk to them about the salesperson who falsely represented their "service" but they want me to pay over 2 thousand dollars that I have never received a cent of. They are basically holding my credit ransom as they have left it open on my file. (Haven't closed it as a bad debt) STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Very poor customer service! My husband has been paying off this stupid loan for 4 years and they said when he finished to program he will be getting money back that he has put into this loan, well today he got off the phone and they said that he does qualify for the rebate and that he had 60 days from when he finished paying off a loan that he never got in the first place! he just finished paying the last fees a few weeks ago and looks like we are not getting any money back what so ever! I would not recommend this company to anyone!! Such big scam and now we are out of 7000$

Review coming from Jason Davis...... Got a bit screwed over with first initial payment(s) first payment was on the 28th of June, second a week later on July 5th. So not really even a bi-weekly schedule, but.. The resolution was fast, professional, and with understanding. I am pleased so far with skycap. Curious to see if this review gets posted or not. I believe this review shows that people are just that people, and people make mistakes. What matters is that Skycap was willing to work with me to resolve the issue. And to tell the truth, because there was an issue and they did help to correct and not make up excuses about it will play a big role when I go to use them again.

Up to date it's just the beginning, i just try the "O" Matress offer on Facebook they call me back like allmostvright away! Look with me my need, just the Matress or the rebuilding credit as well, i need rebuilding my credit so i chose this option been approved in a matter of minutes,! It's a little mors expensive cause of all the help given to you to erase mistake in credit, like pass bill over 6 year's (can't be put in justice are not anymore collectable especially if the collection agency put some interest not realy legal ). So they are very nice human beings not machine that are setup to sais a speach like some others compagnie.! It append a mistake in my account beside i made everything possible to let the money needed for but my bank charge me fee but At the moment i did the transaction there was enough but they put an amount of charge like if it was all ready past week ago but have the screen shot off all i did! And there wasn't those fee yet! My bank refund me the amount of fee for item return and i have repay the amount by prepaid credit card on the phone with a nice french speaking guy for the 499$ deposit fee (king size mattress & membership for rebuilding credit)one time payement only, just need to wait credit Canada themself understand the thing ! I call them twice, they call me twice to! I had to answer questions again and again, but hope credit Canada finaly get it and send my mattress soon, can't wait to sleep ????????????

Please, if you are already poor, dont go with skycap, i delt directly with them and there is no way out accept to wait for the 16 months to be over. Got a call that I was approved for a loan I signed all the paperwork. Afterwards I need to remove a home and auto policy off it because the agent informed me that it would be a monthly payment but when I was able to look over my contract it stated that they will take the Lump sum out of my loan and deposit the balance on my account. I don’t know who is writing reviews for this company, but they are obviously fake or paid user reviews. I was curious about get a small loan and thought I would check these guys out. What an absolutely appalling experience! I have a reasonable credit score and have access to credit through reputable companies. I thought I would look into SkyCap in case I could possibly get a better interest rate. The absolute opposite turned out to be the case! They offered me “$3500”, which would actually be reduced to just barely more than $3000 after their “fees”. Then the offered me life disability insurance on this loan amount for nearly $40 biweekly making my full biweekly payment $117 over THREE YEARS which would mean I would pay $9126 to repay a $3000 loan????? How is this company allowed to exist? What they are doing should be criminal and they only explanation for this types of rates would be that SkyCap is preying on desperate and destitute people! Calling SkyCap loan sharks would be a compliment to these people! RUN RUN RUN, don’t just walk away from this company!

I would give this company negative stars if I could. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. FIND A REPUTABLE HONEST COMPANY. THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE BBB FOR THEIR SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. I applied for a $500 loan online. The next morning a loan appraiser named TJ called me to ask some questions. She then called me back a little while longer to tell me I was approved for $1500. The term would be 2 years on bi weekly payments. She said the loan included LPP benefits (in case of death or job loss) and a Home and Auto benefit. She sent me over the documents to sign but I saw some red flags so I didn't sign right away. She called me pressuring me to sign them as did the Underwriter Manager Jen in an email. I called TJ back the next day as there seemed to a lot of red tape with the LPP benefits that would make it difficult to access the benefits should I need them. I also questioned the Home and Auto Benefit. She told me it was really great, I could save on movie tickets, restaurants and travel. Ok but in the current situation of Covid that wasn't something I was going to be using. She convinced me all was good and was included with the loan. Against my better judgement I signed the documents. That night I had $1073 deposited into my account by SkyCap. I called the next morning asking about the rest of it and was told the other $427 was to buy the Home and Auto benefit. The same one I said was pretty useless during these times the day before! NEVER ONCE WAS I TOLD MY $1500 LOAN INCLUDED BUYING AN EXTRA BENEFIT THAT IS CURRENTLY USELESS ???? I was LEAD TO BELIEVE I WAS APPROVED FOR $1500 NOT $1073. I called TJ to cancel this benefit and low and behold, I had to call the other company directly to do that. I explained to them I was scammed into purchasing it by SkyCap and they said they would refund me no problem. The check is coming from Florida and will take up to 30 days to arrive. I then called TJ back to cancel the LPP coverage. The underwriter Jen emailed me a document to cancel it. I signed it and sent it back. I then called back again to speak to Jen the next day (Friday May 22ns) but was transferred to TJ. I requested new documents reflecting the changes I made to be sent to me for my records and wanted to know the new bi weekly payments and any interest adjustments. TJ was hesitant and said she saw the change on her end. I again asked for a copy to be sent to me. She told me they were busy and I would have it by Monday (May 25th) nothing came on Monday so I emailed Jen again and got to response so I tried calling her. Again I was transferred to TJ. She said they were busy and had never dealt with this before and were waiting for guidance. TO SEND UPDATED FORMS REFLECTING A CHANGE - REALLY?? Tuesday came and went without a reply from Jen and no contact from this company. It is now May 28th and I still haven't been sent the new documents and this company went from harrassing me to sign to avoiding me. BOTTOM LINE THEY ARE SHADY AND BAD LIARS. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND USE ANOTHER COMPANY.

What a scam. I was told upon sign up that they would be reporting to my credit reports right away. Well that didn't happen. It has been 7 months and nothing. They said it was the credit bureau fault. This is a breach of contract. Don't let them fool you. Just pay off your debt and start from scratch on your own as you did as a young adult.

Friendly and I appreciate that when you refuse one of the extra products they offer they don’t haggle you about it. The loans have high interest but this is expected. The process was easy and 95% was easy to do online. If I ever have a need for a quick loan I will defiantly be coming back!

So here is how this fraudulent scheme works. You call these people in need of bettering your credit. Instead of helping you, they rob you. They tell you they will be giving you a loan and then you would have to pay it back in biweekly payments. You are also told these payments can be paused and recalculated should your circumstances change. The "LOAN" isn't money that is giving to you but rather money that is provided to another company on your behalf. you are told at the completion of your payments you will be receiving $1,500 of which you shall never receive. Let's just say if the devil or evil had a face in business, SKYCAP FINANCIAL IS IT!!! I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. These people are dubious and absolutely evil. They do not help your credit in any way, shape or form. You can't cancel your contract once you put paper to pen. There are no recalculations during difficulties and if you are expecting money when you sign up, you're definitely not getting anything. As for the cash at the end of completion, good luck trying to get that as well. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I cannot stress that enough. I know you're desperate and doing your best in trying to rebuild your credit, i know, I was that guy!!!! This business isn't the answer to your problems no matter what they say, promise or offer. They will make your life miserable. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH!!!!
