Getting a loan is fairly easy, however getting them to actually report the loan and their payments has been my issue. My main point of getting loans from them is to help build my credit but it makes it harder when loans and their payments aren't being sent to Equifax. I still have a loan I got and finished paying off in 2016, yet it still has not been reported. They continuously promise me that they have or that they will and still nothing has been done.

Disregarding customer's request for information on their account indicates:1) questionable accounting/business practices and disregard total disregard for your clientele. It is never a good business practice if a business is indeed a reputable business to use threatening and harassing communications with customers. Magical Credit Inc does not operate like a reputable business but rather like a neighborhood street corner "loan shark." Reputable business do not troll people on the internet. And as some of us know, happiness is relative. Responding to customers in a timely manner using formal business communications is proper and acceptable business practices. Magical Credit really ought to try it, after all that's how reputable businesses operate. Reputable businesses operating within their parameters of their license and the law constantly do NOT make false claims, I mentioned absolutely nothing about debt collections. Was that sort of a misguided attempt to what "out me" and to get me to shut up? Another intimidation tactics typically not used by reputable businesses. Actually, Magical Credit you robbed me of over $1,000 because I overpaid my debt, congrats on robbing the poor!. It is quite acceptable to require customers to repay what they owe, what isn't acceptable is using intimidation tactics, questionable business, accounting and financial practices, over charging and down right embezzling customers!

Just know before applying this company is very prejudiced, they will turn everyone down with anything but a part time or full time job. They turn you down because of people who didnt pay before you. They treat you very unlawfully and tell you that there's nothing they can do, but in all reality they can. So, just be aware everyone! They don't actually help those who need help with their credit. They let you apply but will not accept anything but a real job.

They refinanced my loan without my permission and further extended my loan on my credit report so that they keep charging me. I have also come across a few other people they are doing this with. They claim to change the system and then give you a new account number without your knowledge and then report multiple loans on your credit report. I am currently dealing with them. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY what a bad experience! Stay Away or you will be in debt with them forever. SCAM

The whole process was quick and easy. I was able to get my funds within 3 business days. But... just know that you are going into this agreement with a high interest rate. Don't be oblivious to it. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE. I would leave no stars but that is not an option. This company is horrible. After being told by a rep my end date for my loan was Aug 6. I look and they have taken an extra payment so I call and get no where. Ask for a supervisor a month later I'm still waiting for them to call back. Finally 3rd payment comes out after this today. I phone irate as I've now incurred several NSF fees as a result of unauthorized payments being taken. Debbie the c u next Tuesday who answered the phone hung up on me. I'm not impressed now a 500 dollar loan has cost me 3000 by time interest is added and NSF fees and lost time trying to deal with these idiots. As well I have contacted a lawyer over this and possibly may have to get police investigating into fraud. They dug this hole they are going to lay in it. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY.

Reason for 2 stars. Pros: easy process to get loan and staff was friendly. Cons: They do not report to credit bureau to help your credit. I paid off first loan and received email saying “preferred customer” for next loan. Got second loan at same high interest and same signup process. What was preferred about that????? If I didn’t need money I would have went elsewhere. If they reported good credit and second loan was a bit lower interest I prob would have referred this place to so many people in person and on social media... including YouTube.

The loan is fairly easy to get and customer service is ok during the getting the loan process, but as soon as you miss a payment look out. It shows up as collection status on your credit file, they beat around the bush when communicationing and taking arrangements to avoid this but then nothing changes, it ends up damaging it anyway, your score will be affected before its officially even in collections and it just turns into a hassle. Customer service is as helpful as can be but I would prefer speaking to a manager to resolve anything as the responses you get will be rather generic and vague. We are only human, sometimes payments are unavoidably missed due to unforeseen circumstances, I've had a loan from another company in he past whom when I missed a payment kindly deferred it causing no issues or damage to my credit and resulting in the loan avoiding problems and being paid off smoothly, I will most likely go back to that company. These loans are the devil and most of them pray on low or limited income individuals. Most places its not even a concern to pay the loan back its a matter of how many loans they push out a day to unsuspecting customers

I had made signed an agreement with specific payment dates. They decided to take a payment out a week early and basically told me tough luck when I told them they put me in a really bad spot. All I wanted was for them to send it back and take it out on the correct date, but they refused and suggested I should have known they weren't going to take it out on the date the agreement stated. They dont honor their own agreements. Edit to update: they did nothing to rectify this, at all.

If I had left a review 2-3 years ago, it would have been good. Now, it's the OPPOSITE. I first loaned with these guys years ago. The first two loans were great- no issues. Last year I took a loan out with them, and it was the WORST mistake of my life. First of all, they missed their payment in August of last year (they had automatic debit on my account at that point), then tried to charge me late fees, and took my credit rating down because THEY didn't debit my account like they were supposed to. Secondly, their automatic debit was supposed to coincide with my child tax. They took payments out whenever they wanted to. NSF'd my account more than once. So I told them from now on I will make my payments myself, and told them they were NOT to debit my account anymore. Thirdly, they reported to the credit bureau this April that I had missed my March and April payments (that I had receipts for). It took 2 months for them to report the correct report and fix it. 4th: I made my payment yesterday via Etransfer. I have an email from them saying "You're awesome! Thanks for your payment (as well as the Etransfer receipt saying they received it). They still called me yesterday looking for their payment (that I had made hours before). THEN they had the audacity to call me AGAIN today. Thankfully, for that agent they hung up before I answered before they got an ear full. Do yourself a favor, save a headache and dont touch these guys with a 10 foot pole!!!

I was told I was approved, and then denied, not realizing it was a preapproval, as it didn’t state pre approval in the email.. just approval. Anyway, I sent in my documents and was denied. Long story short there was a huge misunderstanding as to why I was denied, and even though I was angry, the staff emailed me professionally throughout the whole time and explained the situation to me and as to why I was denied. Thank you Magical Credit for bearing with me. My only suggestion would be to make sure your telling customers that it is a pre-approval in the first email, so that there isn’t so many misunderstandings.

I found staff to be dishonest they false advertise YES THEY DO, DO CREDIT CHECKS AND IF CHOOSE TO UPLOAD OR FAX DOCUMENTS RATHER THEN USING THEIR BANKING THEY HUMOR YOU BY WASTING BY SENDING THEM IN BECAUSE IF YOU DO NOT USE THE APP. JUST CONSIDER YOURSELF DENIED. Which I may by using their app theyŕe actually making you default in you client agreement to never share your banking info, no matter it's your giving access to it and it also for consumer right and policy. And is in the payday loans act that they cannot refuse you choose not to use app. But of the don't anybody going report Just because they are loan company you don't have the give them rights to online your statement ID and stub I more then sufficient. And I stand behind my 1000% because we did text, 7 people applied all with above average credit 2 people that used the app were approved and 5 people didn't go figure they were denied and we're all sent back bogus email stating the exact same. Denied for bad credit and poor payment history with too many other loan company. And when replied back telling them score their credit amount and credit and don't have history with any loan companies .. they were either blocked or just ignorantly ignored. I don't give this company a star but had to in order to write a review. I would not recommend them because how can really call a company trust worthy or good if they´re dishonest from the get go

Havent actually used the Service yet but I had some questions while filling out the online application. They ask for Landlord Contact information. Part of the reason I need the funds is cause were moving to a new place.. and I dont really want my new landlord company to know my financial situation in having to take out a loan. Do they actually call your landlords? Or how does that work. Any help is appreciated!

I have recieved a couple loans from them. They do not bother me. They remind me lightly in emails when the payment is coming up. They allow you to borrow more as you repay. They report your payments to credit bureau so it helps to rebuild credit as well. They help you fast. It did not take weeks to get the loan. It is a simple application, reference, and deposit system. I like them a lot.

I have got to say this was the most easiest application process I have ever done. The customer service was amazing.. helpful, polite and quick, plus they kept on top of my process but wasnt annoying about it.
