If I could rate zero star I would. Terrible customer service . Every time I go in here it’s a terrible time . The utter stupidness from the staff, like today asked for a blank cheque and she give me a direct deposit form I tell her I need a black cheque to write a lump sum of money into and specific person and she insists she’s done her job right ..... when no she didn’t and it’s not the first time this has happened

Lady at the counter refused to deposit my pay roll check with no hild that I've been depositing for 8yrs. Yes I've never deposited here before but its payroll and I've been with the bank for 10+ yrs. But about a month ago same cheque was deposited no hold and cash withdrawn in Canmore. And I've never banked of any sort there. Pretty sure the lady just didnt want to do her job.

The lady at the counter today didn’t help me how to activate my new card at the machine. She kept saying same thing over the counter to me though I needed her actual activation on my card. Her costumer service was average need more training.

I've always been blown away by how good the service I had received from CIBC is. In particular the banff branch. The staff is always courteous and polite. If I have questions the staff is more than knowledgeable and they make it really easy to manage all your accounts. I recently had a little hiccup with one of my product with cibc (I have to mention here it was my fault as I did not read the contract with enough attention) but in no time it was solved and the staff was more than professional and helpfull. Simply Bravo.

I can't believe a bank can refuse to make change for Canadian $20 bills unless you have an account with them! Why are they in business if not to handle currency? I'll never bother going to another CIBC. Never had this problem with any other bank.

My boyfriend did international transfer for me from Banff CIBC. They never explained about commission fee. So my boyfriend paid 72CAD for 200CAD. He wouldn't send if he knew about 72dollars commission fee. I'll just wait till i go back to Canada. It was first time international transfer to him. So he just gave my info to staff and they didn't explain anything and then he got receipt. That's it. I'm so angry about this happen.
