After filing our taxes we received cash back.. the only place that said they wouldn't hold any of it for 5 days was money mart.. we did our taxes late saturday so banks were closed. Sadly the most expensive place cost 150$ to put the money on a master card!! Which we later found out all money marts carry enough money to have paid us cash. She told us we wouldhave to go to wetaskwin. Whatever.The lady informed us we would be able to take all the money out at any atm.. she lied! I called the master card hotline and they said there's a daily limit of 1000.00. Normally this wouldnt bother me but I wanted to pay bills and get groceries.. etc. When we called back to ask the lady why she had lied she replied with "we are closed" and hung up!! Very rude and unprofessional. Also, despite paying 150 to receive a master card not even cash, the atm charges 3 dollars every time you take money out. The most irritating part of this all is the lies we were told. This lady obviously isn't trained or she just doesn't care. I personally will never be dealing with this company ever again.

Money mart is a scam! Forreal! When I younger i went there for an installment loan to pay some bills i owe like most ppl that goes here... But the percentage of interest these people have to unbelievable! Their percentage is "54%" interest on every payment they take out of your account... So if you were to borrow 5000, in then youll be paying them back around $10,500... Yeah TWICE AS MUCH AS YOU TOOK! How does that make sense? How is that fair?

As stressful and difficult as it was dealing with the titanium operator that we could barely understand she kept her cool and Was professional through it all. Went there and the woman at the counter extorted $5 from me because I used the customer feedback papier, that u can walk in, take one, and literally do what u want with it, to write my transaction info for her while she was on the phone. Then she said it's money mart policy not to write on the customer feedback paper in store. I called her out and filed a complaint, waiting for money mart to contact me. It's all on camera and I have the paper with me. I use money mart services a lot and this is not OK. Its is stealing and I sure hope they fix it. No other offices forbids customers to write on flyers.

I had called in wanting to know what information i needed to bring in, in order to cash a cheque I was getting .. I had just lost my ID and i was really hopeful that they would be able to help me out. Anne was extremely helpful and let me know that they do cash cheques without ID. Anne told me to bring in my cheque and that she would do her best to help me out. She was extremely professional and went above and beyond to help me, it was extremely appreciated.

This is a great place for a pay day loan . It's in a great location and is located in a heavy populated area so it's easy to find. Make sure you bring all documentation if you want the loan. It's never good to boorow because of the high return rates but if you have to this is the place . The place is very clean and has a great staff the works there . With a great parking lot there s always somewhere to park happy pay day loaning .

This company has placed a negative item on my credit report. I have called numerous numbers and emailed on several occassions. I've spoken to service representatives, supervisors, and management, each person transfers me to someone else, no individual can correct this issue. All staff that I've spoken to have promised me satisfaction and has done absolutely nothing. Customer service is non existent!!! I even had one of their managers identify to me that their practices are wrong and they needed to be corrected. My initial contact with money mart began in Oct 2019, this is when I brought the error to their attention. I don't know how many times contact was made, however I know it's been well over 100 times. No resolution as occured and as soon as I inquire about it, all they do is pass the buck!!! My advice is... SEEK SERVICES FROM ANOTHER AGENCY!!!!!

I had the best experience! never got a loan before but when i went in Nayda an employee their was super helpful! my baby got fussy and wanted to eat in the middle of it and she had no problems waiting for me to be done feeding him to finish the application and when i said it was okay i could multi task she insisted it was fine she had no problem waiting so we talked about our kids and quarantine life! it was the best experience ive ever had! she explained everything in fine detail to me aswell!! i highly recommended going their if your looking for a loan especially when shes in judgment free and super helpful!

One of the better places for cashing cheques. Not sure about loans. Anyone who would get a 29% loan is crazy. They are quick and easy to deal with if you just want a cheque cashed. My bank has horrible hours 9-5 and sometimes I can't make in time to cash my pay cheque so money mart fills the void when I need cash.

Went to send money to my sister in law in the States and wasn't made aware of $160 fee for sending her money until I already paid. To top it off, the American to Canadian conversion was WAY wrong, so she'll be getting more money. Then I was told they put a hold on it, so call this number. I call the number, a guy asked for the number.. I gave him the number, he told me he had to transfer me to someone else. I get a woman on the phone, and she said she couldn't help me and asked why I was sent to her. I told her the money was put on hold, and she said she couldn't help me. Long story short, next time I go to send money, it'll be cash mailed in an envelope to her. Both Money Mart and Western Union are horrible to deal with.

This location does not accept payments from any money mart pay day loans that were not done from this location even though it is a money mart!? Supposedly it's because this location is a franchise. So why is it still called money mart?? Stupid policy seeing as the next closest place to make a payment is newton. Then when I call money mart head office they tell me a whole different story, it's like they just make up the rules as they go along. Complete incompetence. Go to cash money, they are WAY more professional and they actually care about customer service. Money mart is only about money. They could care less about customer service.

While the workers maybe friendly, as others opinion may differs... The Western Union service is my problem... A few weeks ago I tried sending money to gentleman who is doing work on a house for me. Unaware that the gentleman had issues with WU. He informed me that he was able to collect the money. I went back to the office in brandon, only to find out they cannot return my money. The lady was kind enough to provide me with there number. I phone after informing about my situation, I waited for a while, I was provided with a new MTCN. I tried to send the money to my regular family member when I was told that I was denied... I phone head office again the lady said she's not seeing anything on the system that should prevent me from sending the money...I went back into the brandon office same thing... I waited a few weeks... On Dec 11, 2020 i went in to send my usual monthly money for my mother...the y lady was there with several expressions on her face.. she then took her writing pad and wrote down information from the system: a code along with denied. She then provided me with the number to call in. ... I spoke with some lady who said she was unable to give reason to why I was denied I then asked to be connected with manager or upper management...this took over 10 minutes When the lady came on line I explained situation of being denied to process my transaction she said yes...WU is denying at this time to process any transactions... I asked why she is not allowed to give such information. I asked how long, still cannot give me the information....in the end trying to plea my case the lady hang up the phone in me WU has all information pertaining to the work I do here in Canada, plus they see how much money is been sent for the past 4 years since I've been using there service...if you're going to deny someone at least give a reason Anyways I'm dine using WU... If they are trying to deal with SCAMING they are doing it the wrong way.
