Life happens and I recently found myself needing a loan. I dealt with Chris at my local Barrie office, he was friendly and helpful, always returned calls and emails in a timely manner. The only thing I didn't like was being automatically signed up for optional insurance policies before being asked if I wanted or was interested in them, I think that customers should be ask before being enrolled, I should've been able to say I didn't want them saving time having to cancel after the fact.

Fairstone has some seriously good loan options. Applied for a loan with Fairstone through bestbuy promotion and was approved in minutes. Received a call after 1 business day to explain options more in detail and explained how easy it is to pay through online banking as well as alternatives. Great place to turn too if you need a loan, Especially if you cant get one from a bank. They take you in immediately and are very polite and friendly. They try to get you as much money as possible and will negotiate with creditors. I now have zero debt and make 1 monthly payment.

I had to stop in to write a review. This is my 3rd time going to Fairstone in Membertou, Nova Scotia. I continue to request Courtney Mancini as my representative. I do so because she wastes no time. She gets right down to what you need and will go above and beyond to help you with it all. Once you build a reputation with them. They call to check up, make sure things are okay and if you need anything at all. If you have any questions at all or need reassurance they immediately clarify it. When you walk in all the staff looks up and smiles and welcomes you. It makes you feel more comfortable with the experience. Everyone is scared of high interest loans. From my experience I just made as many payments as I could and lump sums. Remember extra payments are interest free. So my loans are paid off quicker than usual. However they do have long term options to lower payments for you. Which is wonderful for people who are on a strict budget. Its a great option for people who are just establishing credit. You'll notice that your score will go up gradually. I found it hard for myself to find someone who would give me a chance. Yesterday I called with a question about getting a loan around 2pm and by 9pm lastnight my money was directly deposted into my account. No hassel. I highly recommend them and of course Courtney is my go to. I've built trust with her as my representative and I hope your experience will be just as great as mine. Thanks for everything!
