They allow any dealer to sell cars. Unreliable cars. Also have no insurance on loans that should be mandatory. My girlfriend bought a car that was a complete lemon. We put 4000 into repairs in the first year while maintaining payments. With pandemic my girlfriend lost her job and no longer could afford payments. Santander continues to attempt to take money out the bank account even though they were told she had no job and can't afford payments. I asked about insurance they said it was up to the dealer to add that? Horrible customer support rude and not understanding.

You people just blew a deal because you refuse to accept the fact that a person can't provide 3 (irrelevant) references, despite having everything else being good to go, and no actual/real hindrances. That's absolutely stupid. I've had enough dealings with dealerships, and lenders, over the last 15+ years, and not once has a deal fallen through due to not having enough names and phone numbers "just in case we can't contact you". I've also dealt with enough policies where flexibility and compromise can be made, with the right mindset, and taking into account the bigger picture. That's not the case, here. Believe it or not, building a solid rapport with consumers is the total opposite of how you people treated me. Of course, I don't expect any of this to mean much to a subprime lender. See the term "stupid", as referenced above. If I could give a negative star, well, that'd take place. In the meantime, congratulations on the 1 star rating. I was feeling generous. Idiots.

Well, at first my experience with one of your customer service agents was not the greatest. It was very fursturating to say the least. That was until I met Cassie C.! She was very polite very understanding and very helpful. I could not have asked for a better customer service agent to help me out! She listened, she explained and helped me understand everything that I needed to. Even though there was a line connecting us she spoke and made me feel like we were face to face. With everything that is going on in the world today Cassie made me feel human, heard and even seen. If that makes any sense. I myself have been in customer service for a very long time and for me this was the most exceptional customer service experience I have ever had in dealing with someone over the phone. Cassie, I thank you once again for all your help and for treating me with kindness, respect and above all like a human being.

My experience with Liz has been nothing but top notch service. She has been ever so helpful with whatever comes up or I have questions on she helps and makes this so much easier and if I don't fully understand what she is advising me on she makes sure I do in whatever way she needs to before we get off the call. She is so caring and kind even when I have called in with an issue and been "ugly crying" during the call she has me calmed and is very empathetic by the end of the call. I have been in customer service myself for many years and know a great csr when I find one and she is definitely the definition of outstanding customer service and I appreciate everything she does and has done for me very much and deserves recognition for it. I know that everytime I call I am getting the best possible service and she goes above and beyond and I will be very sad when my contract is up for my car and we will not have our biweekly contact.
