Total SCAM! They’ll get you qualified and straddle you ridiculous fees and push you to higher interest rates with one of their “partners”. They’re in business to seize property. Go to a real bank. If you don’t qualify, get the hint and wait!

Fees are ridiculous and made up 23% of our loan. Loan Fee, Application Fee, Broker Fee, Legal Fees. Legal fees is LENDER legal fees, on top of that you have to pay your own legal fees.

A family member was going to be without a home within 3 weeks! We hadn’t thought of renovating our ground floor, ever, but we were open to building a brand, new one bedroom suite. We called Alpine and dealt with Cal and Alice. They understood the urgency and the application through to funding happened within 2-3 weeks!! They were professional and knowledgeable and the customer service and quality of their assistance was top notch!!! Second to none! It was such a wonderful pleasure and experience doing business with them. They even arranged for us to meet with their lawyer to finalize the documents! In the end we have a beautiful new suite with 5 brand new appliances, separate entry and totally independent of our space upstairs! We did approach our Bank first and even though we have a sound financial relationship with them and they know us so well, it was a great hassle and they were asking for everything including our first born which surprised us. Once we have paid this off we will contact Cal and Alice once again so that we may upgrade the top floor and more beautiful landscaping!! That’s how much they impressed us!! Thank you ???? for creating such a wonderful experience with you and your firm!!!

The ads are missleading. There's far more parameters then they specify. Any bank can offer almost anything they can except better. On top of that their reps are as dumb as they are condescending; even by Surrey standards.

I have not had a good experience I had been with Alpine for the last 10 years. I not sure why two to 3 staff do not read email properly. I would like to have manager of ceo of Alpine company. I have written 6 emails at least they are still not listening. All I want to do is pay these sharks off. They keep asking for my lawyers name and the company I am getting my mortgage from until I have appraiser done nothing is going to be release to I have human rights and Canada law I do not have to sign doc until 3 days before my renewal is due. Alpine gets 530. every time you renewal with this company.Why would I need to sign anything when i am planning on going else where and Like I said before I am not okay with getting charges extra when i am going else where for a mortgage I am so disappointed with Alpine I guess know one knows how to read or just have selected reading and hearing on what i am saying. I have talked to other mortgage company They say i do not have to give or sign anything as my mortgage is not due until Mar 21/20 so why can your staff not get this through their head. Also demanding i phone to see if I want to borrow more money why would I do this when I am moving to different mortgage and no until I have done everything on my end do you get me to sign paper work so you can make more money when I am not staying there. I am so discussing with staff here at Alpine. If I do not get more respect i will be putting complaint through better business as well. Nothing has be resolved or staff not refused to even listen. I ask them to stop harassing me as I am doing my house appeaser this weekend and will not know until first business day. My lawyer will be dealing with this know Alpine doesn't get his name this is bully behavior .If this doesn't get resolved or I get respect I will put all media or Facebook etc who will listen this is discussing behavior. Same with my House insurance staff Chris got this all mixed up as well I send same doc of house insurance to him and him this is correct now but this was the same doc I sent to him. Again no apologize for all this mistakes. Trying to put blanket insurance on my house when I already have insurance company aging money grabbing for all you guys. I gave one star but only cause I could not post Apline deserve no stars and thumbs down.

I asked for a very short-term loan witch I got from them and I all so asked 2 times if they would wave some of the early penalties thinking I would get some kind of break when I payed off the loan I was charged for even more fees and more legal fees then I ever thought I would have to pay I would not recommend this company unless they are your very last resort like for me. I'd recommend Alpine Credits. Quick process, easy approval was based on home equity not credit rating. These guys are a breath of fresh air compared to dealing with my bank.

DONT GET A LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE!! you will regret it for a long time. if i wouldve just toughed it out for another year i would be free and clear. but no i got a loan to help out and 5 years later the loan amount hasnt changed. and i pay 500 a month. LOAN HASNT GONE DOWN!

WE REJECTED THE MORTGAGE THAT THEY OFFERED US. THEY FILED A LIEN AGAINST OUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO MORTGAGE. THE TRIED TO GET US TO PAY TO HAVE THE LIEN REMOVED. RATING SHOULD BE ZERO STARS.

When they say "home owners get approved" what they mean is you need to own 100% of your home. If you don't fully own your home (i.e. if you have a mortgage) then it's the same as any other loan application and you won't automatically get approved as the ad's imply

Definitely 5-star worthy! Bev De Vos was great to work with! From start to finish took less than 10 business days to receive the funds. As for all of the 1-star ratings, yes there are costs associated with any type of loan. Alpine does not attempt to hide these. As for the home inspection coming out of your pocket, well that is standard procedure. This is not meant to be a long term loan. It should be a year long, then during the 30 day pay off window, you roll it back into your 1st mortgage. Anyway, I appreciate how fast and efficient this process was!

Dean, my broker at Alpine Credits, was incredible when I compare my experience with him to three prior mortgage and second mortgage applications with my bank. He was very efficient, very patient (when I forgot I still had a small second mortgage left on my primary property), and very good at explaining the process.

Run far and Fast. Their many lenders are private people. Staff are rude and sarcastic. Costs are exburberent. Scammers! Scammers! Their business is to to take your home. Disgusting! Definitely should be shut down completely. Would not surprise me if this is even money laundering from in Canada and out of country.

On behalf of my parents as they are not technically inclined. My parents got a loan through an associate named Simon i believe. He was very knowledgeable and patient as they can be difficult to work with. My parents understood from the beginning that this would not be a conventional loan, however Simon was very open with all the terms involved and answered any question they had. Thanks once again Simon, i will definitely recommend alpine credits.

This company is the worst I've ever dealt with. Hidden fees, on top of hidden fees, surcharges, pre penalty payments, and outright theft of ones repayment. After 2 and 1/2 years of payments totalling more than $40,000 my principal balance after all the hidden fees, surcharges, and pre penalties went down only $2900. If you are considering using this company ...do yourself a favor and run away as fast as you can.

People who are desperate go to outfits like these when they have no options left. They charge high interest rates and know that soon they can force a foreclosure because these desperate people usually can’t pay. Sort of like hovering vultures. They advertise more than any other advertiser because so many people are on their last financial dollar and flock to them. They take in a fortune at the expensive of so many poor people. Their constant advertisements are insulting and idiotic. They insult everyone’s intelligence with the stupidity and irritation of them all. If you want to lose everything well....

Alpine credits is the worst company to deal with. First of all our agent did not even work in the same province as we lived in and would not work on 'our file' until the end of his day leaving us no time to get paperwork and stuff signed and returned to him. Also they were not up front with fees and length of term. Finally it took almost three weeks to complete from application to cash on hand. I would avoid Alpine at all costs.

Very fast approval process. Although the entire process was very involving, they took care of everything and simplified my experience as best they could and made me feel very comfortable and reassured. My case had some hangups due to some red tape problems but they went above and beyond to make sure I got my loan in the necessary amount of time. Would recommend to anyone who can't go to the bank for w.e. reason.
