We had a lovely experience today. I can't remember who I spoke to (I am horrible at remembering names, she had a Totoro face mask on though) but she told us all about the building and was genuinely so happy to tell us about it. I will absolutely be returning, the building is very unique and the people are friendly. They also have very old books, you can't take them out, but they would be nice to read while there. :)

This library is just so beautiful! But the people there are what make the place so special. Iv not every met better librarians they remember my name and my kids names and ask me questions and always are so willing and wanting to help. I can't tell you how easy it is to see how much they seem to love what they do and how they take pride in thier work. They make my day when I go in there. Just so sweet and helpful with ideas and book finding and everything. It's not just me i watch them help everyone. These lady's are great and I'm sure not recognized as much as they should be. This will be my favorite library to go to for sure.

Awesome place to study, staff is warm and welcoming!!! Can get a little loud after school, but it is nice to see children using a public library, noise level is never unbearable

Don't listen to the comment about this being only as a library for children. I've gone plenty of times where its been quiet. There is plenty of space upstairs to do work. Even if children are there, bring headphones! I appreciate that they transformed the former fire station (instead of demolishing it) into a vibrant library branch in Sandwich Towne. Excellent service from staff. This library gets a 5/5 from me.

This is a beautiful library, so welcoming from the streets. Highly recommend getting a tour from the library worker. Lots of really cool history & they have been able to incorporate materials from the old building. Very welcoming, lots of great books including a local history section! The kids section is really nice. Its a community library for everyone. Thank god its NOT like university library where people write all over the tables and leave their garbage everywhere, and go out for smokes every 15 minutes so you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get into the library. Its comical to me that someone would give this beautiful library a bad review because its open to the community and not like the university library.

Beautiful library with wonderful staff.

A beautiful building, lots of light and comfortable chairs. Close to a great bubble tea cafe in case you get hungry during your study session :)

William Lane

Great local library in a historical building. Great staff. Computers available to use with library card for 1 hour intervals.

This is a children's library. There is no quiet place to study or work - There will be children everywhere and since its an open concept you will hear kids from everywhere in the library. 5 Stars if initial goal was to make it a children's only library.
