Nice small public library, with great kids section. Location is convenient with supermarket and credit union next door. Easily accessible by bus (19, 22 or 25) with lots of parking underground.

If you have VPL card, you can use print, copy, scan, computer and free wifi as well! It’s not too big, but have enough space to enjoy books!

Great staff, and a quiet atmosphere make it a great place to study for longer periods of time.

I come here to study for 3 ~ 4 days a week as I live nearby. Most of the staff are friendly. It is easy to print or copy stuff. It has a good collection of children's books (I only pay attention to this as I have a young baby). There are events for kids (including babies) and teens. The study/quiet room is a bit small, only 5 seats. Sometimes, all of them are taken. Hence, the room is a bit stuffy (i.e., bad air or ventilation quality) as it gets crowded.

I love this library. It smells great for starters; but the big deal around this library is the staff. Always helpful, good recommendations from staff picks and patient. I know that it's a small place but if you saw what we had before... A living room size library...you know that this place is still cosy and friendly place. Yeah wheelchair access to washrooms, yes study rooms, yes reading to kids (preCo-vid) and yes, the have an origami club meeting! They have a Lego afternoon and some programming for kids. A reading club for kids...I dunno what else do you need ? Good chairs, tables, power to plug your laptop in and a great place to recharge those mental batteries. I love this library and VPL staff. If you don't like the selection from here you can order to deliver to this location. If you look up a recipe and are missing ingredients you can go next door to SaveOn! There's a bank, gym and Service Canada nearby, too something for everyone.okay there's Pallette across the street and a Dollar store. Oh there's two banks: one red beside the Dollar Store and green on across the lane. Make your library a weekly event, pay bills, pick up milk and get a balloon .. all in one area ????

Noisy for a library and the guy that's always in plaid flannel at the front is rather unfriendly.

Good please if you need to print something. Unfortunately I have not used their others services yet. By the way: public computers are automatically turned off 10 minutes before closing time WITHOUT any notice, please see your time and don't forget to save your documents on your cloud/usb stick :)

This location doesn't get too busy, but there are not a lot of study areas and it is not very quiet. Overall still a decent little library with a nice and cozy ambience.

1/2(half) star. I use this library a lot, but I'm seriously considering never going back. This place is so noisy,I get more peace and quiet at a Tim Hortons. I don't know who is worse, the adults or the children, but adults know better ,and children are learning. There are people having full conversations not even trying to be quiet, with no consideration for others, children running arround, people sitting at the computer having cell phone conversations, children banging toys, cell phones ringing, children crying ,and screaming having blast off temper tantrums, and even the Librarians talking loudly at the front counter ,could be heard across the whole library, at the far back where I was sitting. One time there was some kind off event ,and people were making speaches and the crowd was applauding every 30seconds, and cake party for the kids. All together this is way to much, it is impossible to consentrate and do some reseach or read in peace. At first I thought it was just a off day ,and it wont be like this very often ,but thats not the case, the more I come to the library the more these shenanigans are going on,so this tells me that ,this is the norm for this place. If people want to have these parties they should go to the comunnity center. Im so desappoited with the librarians, there is never a attempt to make people quiet down, they actually add to the problem with their loud conversations, this is why I'm ratting the Kensington branch at 1/2 ( half) a star.

(Translated) Think of a small neighborhood bookstore. There aren't many seats, but it's nice to study by yourself. (Original) 작은 동내책방 생각하시면 됩니다. 자리가 많지는 않지만 혼자와서 공부하기 좋네요.

It was amazing, i wish we have same kind in india as well. Looking forward to be here often.
