As a lifelong library card holder, this was one of my first stops when moving to the area in 2020. Stacey was super welcoming and hooked me up with my free library card, which I have now put many miles on ;). Staff are pleasant, cordial, and happy to help. Library is tidy and well stocked, and I super love the (also free) BC Interconnect system through which you can 'order' any book you wish from the interior libraries to be delivered to the Trail location. Community programming (when it happens, boooo covid) has been exceptional. I took the free adult writing course with Donna in the autumn and it was a delight and really helped me step up my writing skills. Love this free community hub- a real jewel in downtown Trail!

It seems pretty cool to just like crack open a tome there and look at the history or whatever but you gotta spend $75 a year for a library card which is pretty dumb. This is why we need the Black Panthers back; Those guys would make the library free. Besides that it seems pretty neat, I like the modern design of the building. The staff was nice.

A lot better than the old one but, as a new building they seemed to have compromised the upstairs library in order to make room for Tecks museum. The library has a nice selection of books. As for the seating areas, its a bit awkward. Most of the tables have computers on them. There is no designated study area. All the tables go along the walls as if they hadn't been planned to be put in the library originally. There is a very loud fan that goes off in the library. If you sit at the table closest to the emergency door you can clearly hear the music going off in the museum section. This makes it difficult to study or focus. The museum is nice looking but I think what I and a lot other others were expecting was a significantly updated library section. Compared to the museum, the library just doesn't seem like there was a lot of thought put into it.

I love this library better than the old one. It's far nicer than the other libraries in the area. Good views. Good atmosphere and nice and spacious.
