I used to live in Malvern from 2003 to 2012. The library was either being built or renovated in those early years. Throughout my elementary and high school years, the library had been a safe haven, social hub, quiet study space, and more all combined. I went to the library almost every single day, especially when I started high school in 2008. The staff members are nice, and they have a wide selection of literature. I feel that their child/infant space could be improved. It's very boxed in, and old looking. At least, that is what I remember it as. I haven't seen the library since late 2013 , so I do not know how it looks now. The library is attached the recreational centre, which is a good and a bad thing. A lot of times, there are youth coming from various sport practises or events to the library. The library has been known to have their "rowdy" times. This is normally around 3-6pm. After that time, the youth tend to go home, and the library falls quiet. One thing that is great about this library, is that they have a glass room with a number of computers in it. Here, you can have especially quiet time on the computer, and they also run classes in there during specific times, for those who may not know how to navigate the internet, or the Toronto Public Library system. I met a lot of great people here, over the years, and created funny memories. All in all, this library is my 2nd favourite branch in the entire city. It will always have a special place in my heart.
