Renovations have turned out great. Larger, clean space with more room for lounging, better kids reading area, and more space for folks to work independently or together in small quiet groups. Open lanes for accessibllity for all.

Wonderful environment to study, read or relax. Internet speed and frequent unavailibility is the worst part. Hope they can fix this problem soon.

Zsuzsanna Horvath

It was amazing how people who are working there so helpful both of them they're helping me a lots I want to say thank you so much they're awesome people it's 5star for them

Rehan Khan (Sherlock Holmes)

There was a person sitting comfortably on a couch talking to another patron. Not sure whether a staff member checked his immunization status or the fact that he has a medical exemption given by his family doctor. If he cannot be bothered to produce any of the proofs, he should not be allowed inside the library or even such time that he can produce the documents. Safety must never be compromised under any circumstances.

Great little library. The ony inconvenience is that I don't think they have an outside dorp-off for when the mall is closed...

Its OK, but sometimes people here argue over who gets a computer, no really, also at the moment it is (friend told me) closed for renovations.

Quite place. Its in a mall so you can always go grab something if you are hungry. Its not like other library with noisy kids. So you can study in peace!

Nice environment within a shopping mall. You can go for Tim Hortons, McDonald, KFC and other good good stores within 20 steps from the library. Ample space to study and explore books that you like. Self checkout options work perfectly. I love this library very much. Ample space for parking.

The history of this Toronto Public Library branch has gone through a few location and name changes since the formal opening in January 1956. Back then, it was part of the Borough of Scarborough and was named the Golden Mile Branch. Fast forward to April 1983, it relocated to the new wing & present location in the Eglinton Square Shopping Centre just off the food court. A facility expansion took place between 2016/2017. Community patrons can now enjoy seating for 115 (pre-pandemic), 2 quiet study rooms, 2 meeting rooms for lectures or classroom configuration based on booking needs, 11 workstations with internet, WiFi, and scanning/copying/printing services. Persons with disabilities have access to special equipment including computer with screen magnification software, large print keyboard, large trackball mouse, magnifier, page turner, book stand, and wheelchair accessible furniture. This is great as many of us take this part of life for granted. Parking is free. TTC bus service, including the soon to be completed Line 5 Eglinton Crosstown is close by. Never stop learning!

RSH DVP

A quiet place to read, work and learn at your own pace. Books, movies, magazines and much more is available here.

I'm pleased with the care in which the staff requests visitors to wear a mask, adding (at all times). At times giving a gentle reminder to individuals. However, at times I'll see the one who falters and slips through the crack. Over their lip and under their nose. Individuals are spaced out approximately 12 feet apart. Thank for ensuring our safety. Food Review

Librarian didn't know how to use the system to find a book. Instead she walked around checking random shelves for 10 mins.

Great staff, good books, computers and great furniture!

Barun Bakshi

Very helpful library staff. Renovated wider space will provide quiet reading space. Their collection of books may not be great at this branch but when you think of convenience, this is a good place to study. The place is located inside the mall. Right next to the food court

This library went through a recent renovation and upgrade. It took many months to finish the upgrade but it was well worth it. The place now looks so modern with new furniture and equipment. Self check out is available too. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There are study rooms too but but I never used them. The place cannot be ideal for people who are looking for quiet times. It is right beside the food court which is busy all time with people having their meals or just hanging out there.

Over the summer months this location has been quite pleasant. I did have to ask 2 ladies to stop talking so loudly- both on their phones & talking to each other simultaneously in one of the glassed study rooms. You do need to check your chair for food, spilled coffee etc. before sitting down. (You need to pass through the food court to enter the library and some do feal it's OK to have a full meal while handling books). The staff are quiet, keep their heads down & do their work but will help you find something you need. Remember to say hello with a smile when you see them. I'd give this location 5 stars but T.P.L policy has changed from a library that was a place to respect that others are trying to study & learn to eating full meals, phone's ringing non-stop & talking loudly. Bring earplugs, sanitizer & napkins & you'll survive the T.P.L.

Update: Branch open.

Noise filters in from the food court, WiFi loses Internet connectivity sometimes, and inconvenient to get to on foot. Other than that, typical smaller branch.

Excellent service and staff. DVDS are organized very well and I have found staff very friendly and helpful over the years.

A great looking library thanks to the new renovation work that was done. The selection of items is decent and the library is kept relatively clean. It is a quiet library, however, the only downside for me is that it is located right next to a big food court. The loud voices of people chatting easily travels and gets into the library and it causes a huge disturbance, especially during the lunch time hours.

Ray Barkhouse

The staff are very kind and helpful.
