Very nice library i hope it never changes

I absolutely love this library. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all aspects of the Library. Some of the staff has been working there for over 15 years. The name was changed last year to celebrate the long term pattren of the library. I volunteer at The Friends of the Library Book Store. Most of our books are 1$ or less. We also have CD's and DVD's. I have been doing that for over 5 years now and some of the other volunteers have been there for many more years. We are always looking for new volunteers to work at least one day a month or more woorking cash or sorting books.

I love the feeling of an actual book in my hands! This library has an amazing selection in almost every genre! I love going here if I could I’d spend most of my time here I would. It’s an amazing place to go if you want to learn new things, it a good place to go if you to work on homework, study, or do online work. The atmosphere is very calming and inviting. They offer many services And even have a cute little book store down stairs. The staff are Always friendly and if you need help finding a genre or specific book the information desk in the centre will help you Find exactly what you are looking for. Great environment for everyone including children!! Would definitely recommend this to everyone in the Sault!

Great local library with lot's of local activities. Also has large TV series and Movie selection for checkouts. As well as a large book selection. Great kids area! Very invested in their local children activities.

One of my favourite places to visit. It has quite a good selection of books, magazines, dvds, and cds. The computerized catalogue is very helpful and easy to figure out. And uf you have the OverDrive app on your phone or tablet, you can borrow ebooks as well. But my favourite feature is the Friends of the Library bookstore. It's crammed with used books of every description and they are mostly in fair to good condition. With "new" books arriving all the time, you're bound to find something of interest.

Ya I just called this local library and to my udder shock, the answering lady says that there only open till 5pm !!! Dun du daaa! I live all the way across the street and can't see the actual hours. # 1st world problems. Lol totally kidding..it's a great place but be sure to bring your books back please ..cause they NEVER forget a book...

Don't come here if you need to work. Really loud for a library, felt like I was working in the middle of a grocery store. And to top it off, it was the staff who were the loudest.

They refuse entrance to those without a vax pass and stand by their discrimination and segregation wholeheartedly. It is a sad day when a public library no longer serves the public.

Very unaccommodating and rude staff. Been biking across Canada raising money for a homeless charity and had my bags stolen in a previous town so always tried to bring my bike indoors with the bags. They told us they must be left outside even though they were causing no obstruction to anyone or anything, they were left out of the way. After leaving them outside for 2 seconds there were 2 white crack heads over at the bags trying to take them. The staff could not have cared less. It may be a public library but definitely not for everyone in the public. Very stuck up staff

It's an ageing building, and libraries are slowly losing their relevance to the modern world, if they haven't completely lost it already, but there are still some nice things about this one, such as the electronic book service, the collection of television shows and movies, food service, etc.
