Very rude staff. Over zealous comissionary security acted like jailhouse security staff.

I love how big & how diverse each floor is! There’s always something new to see, a program going on, and is well worth multiple visits, before even touching a book. Such a large selection of materials & all easy to find. The staff there is always very helpful & willing to go out of their way. Great place for all ages!

Frances Morrison Central Library is one of the must visit places in Saskatoon. Library is huge, with a great collection of books super nice and friendly staff (always willing to help you what you are looking for). Walking through the sections is like browsing random sites on internet, you never know what you would find. Lots to learn from the writing literature. But you can also find a wide collection of CD’s and DVD’s. Desktop Computers are available too to do any online research that you may need to do! Lockable phone charing stations are the best not only to charge the phone but yo also lock the phone away for a while! There is also a play area for kids, (am not aware of any workshops held for kids) Library is split in two levels, top section is for arts.. with an awesome small art display/gallery. It was amazing to see old Saskatoon pictures and posters.. It is quite a nice place. There are also random workshops organized here by likeminded people for all age groups. last time i was there I saw a knitting workshop going on, am sure there are many other too. it’s a nice place to visit on a cold winter day just like any other day!

The Frances Morrison Library is one of the key hearts to Saskatoon. It is the biggest library in the city and in a wonderful location downtown for everyone to easily access it. I wouldn't change a thing about this library. Everything is well kept and organized. It's a classic and fun place to take the kids especially the young ones when it's story time at Poo's Corner located in a tree on the upper floor. They have an amazing selection of childrens books. They have a great young adult section, they have tons of space for student to go study with free wifi. They have so many programs available for all ages and it's all free! This library is my absolute favourite here in Saskatoon!

With Covid-19 restrictions they have closed the upper level, but had some kids books on the main floor, and even went up stairs to get a book and game my kids were wanting. Wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful staff, I really enjoyed the trip to the library.

Nice lovely and peaceful place. My kids love this library. Only the security guard stare the kids in a way and sit infront of them in a way that they feel uncomfortable.

(Translated) My favorite library in town! The staff are particularly patient and welcoming. The Aboriginal collection is impressive. The selection of books in French could however be more enriched and this section deserves more attention and visibility in my opinion. A great place that offers excellent services and meets many needs (often outside of its mandate). Hat! Chapeau!

Very friendly staff, ask the front desk if you need help. Covid-19 requires you to wear a mask at all times while in the library. Stay save everyone :)

I was so disappointed with the state of the building. The washrooms are dark and poorly ventilated, the entrance and front desk area are worn and tired. It just isn't a pleasant space to be in. I used to sit and read in the fine arts section upstairs before taking out my books, but I find I don't do that much anymore, because the building is depressing and the lighting is poor.

Parking a is decent but can use some more signs or security with people wondering about. Kids don’t want strangers approaching them while entering what is suppose to be a safe space.

A beautiful place to begin with, then the selection of works and constant programs going on makes it a must visit of Saskatoon.
